    Ship wrecked

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a beautiful place for lunch. The view is amazing![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]! We ate inside as it was a cool autumn day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had a cute fishing decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were seated right when we got there. My sister and I got the smash burger. My sister rated the burger as a 3, she said it was dry. I rate mine as a 5, I thought it was a great smash burger. I had the ship wrecked drink, that was pretty good..My mom got the clam chowder with a side of shrimp. She rated both as a 5, the chowder was the perfect creamy crowder. We finished it up with the peanut butter pie, OMG!!! The graham cracker crust was perfect, the peanut butter pie was a smooth type mousse, it was a perfect light dessert, not feeling and the perfect sweetness! Next year I'll be bringing my husband.

This small restaurant is located behind the Claremont hotel, right on the water! Great view with a patio as well! You could definitely tell how fresh all the ingredients were! So good and tasty! The Mediterranean plate was listed as a main course, which it shouldn't be. It's more of an app. And also, I wish my salad would have been bigger. Our server was so cheery and friendly!

View of the hotel pool and southwest harbor from the hotel. The restaurant is just below the pool.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was really nice and the hotel is beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hostess was very nice and helpful. The restaurant wasn't busy, but we were told they were out of the items we wanted due to the busy Labor Day weekend. So we ordered a salad with grilled shrimp, it was ok. I'm not a fan of sweet dressings like the strawberry vinaigrette it came with though. Service was so so, the server wasn't really in the game, he was more interested in facebook. I'm not sure if I will go back on our next visit, if I do it will be for the view not the food or table service. Maybe this was just an off day, I wouldn't discourage anyone from giving it a try.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really nice spot on water.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is good. Service is good. (Eugen is super friendly). [[HIGHLIGHT]]View is spectacular.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fish Camp is very accommodating to boaters. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We chose having lunch at Batson over Islesford Restaurant (Little Cranberry) as the views are better & it's closer by boat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Still dockside summer prices but not as steep as Islesford. Yet, oysters @ $3.5 each came on a very watery bed of ice, minus 1 star b/c of this, SUGGESTION take a page from EvenTide in Portland, and crush your ice and serve the oysters super cold (on a solid ice bed, not on watery melt ice where the water get into the oyster, Maine is the oyster capital of the northeast, no excuse as it wasn't hot out). Yet, the host, wait staff, and dock associates were all super friendly and attentive.

We were standing near the bar, and one of the bartenders invited us to sit and moved chairs around for us. Service was excellent and very friendly. We had the roasted tomato burrata sandwich and flatbread. Each were great. This is such a cool place, there is a vinyl store within the restaurant, but it was closed when we there. There also was an area they sell guitars, all so random, but fit so well together. A very cool, comfy place to enjoy drinks, food and music.

The historic building has a tin roof and a wooden bar that eeks history. Our waitress was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. I enjoyed the roasted tomato burrata baguette sandwich and it was toasted and tasty. Several of my dining partners also had the same sandwich. Another had the Warm Roasted Root Vegetable Salad that she said was wonderful. We finished the meal with generous portions of carrot cake topped with delicious cream cheese frosting. There is a store inside the Black Moon (that happened to be closed on a Saturday night). In the corner they sell vinyl records and CDs and there is also a selection of guitars. There was also a musician playing live music near the front of the pub that really added to the atmosphere. It was a truly great find right on Main Street in Ellsworth.

I assumed it's a touristy town but they really hold it down at Project Social. Every single thing we ordered was exceptional. I'd recommend to try as many dishes as you can. We ordered fresh oysters, clam chowder, octopus, lobster crepe, butternut squash soup and open face Bahn mi sandwich. I'd say the sandwich was least liked because it was falling apart with every bite but flavor-wise everything was perfect. The service was also exceptional. Nushi was really helpful with choosing dishes and making sure we had everything we needed. 10/10!! Would come back in a heartbeat

The toast was our favorite dish all week, with the mushrooms being perfectly cooked and the chèvre bringing a creaminess and slight funk to the dish. The octopus somehow had a melt in your mouth texture with a strong barbecue flavor and delicious sauces. We also ordered the ceviche, scallops, crab cakes, and duck tacos. It was all delicious, and flavors were well-balanced, meaning acids and fats were paired well together. Food presentation was exceptional. Service was incredible, in that our waiter answered all of our questions and food came quickly. Additionally, my wife and I showed up at 5:30 and were promptly seated. I think being offset from the main intersection some helps with crowds. Ambiance was top tier with the water feature and greenery.
