Second time visiting this location and I loved both times. Its location is perfect for me. Sometimes I have the desire to feel like I'm tucked in a French cafe in Paris and this gives that vibes for me. It's also in Phillip's place which is the first place we lived and loved some much when we moved to Charlotte. Coffees are good and their food and pastries are as well. I ordered via Door Dash and it was pretty good. The Korean BBQ glazed carrots were spicy and flavorful. Would definitely get them again. The "street car" bowl was okay. The steak was tough and chewy and beans were mushy. Rice had some flavor. Corn wasn't seasoned at all. Sauce was okay. It was an okay bowl, but overpriced for what it was. It's hard to find healthy type bowl options so it was okay, but would try a different one next time. The carrots were delicious though! read more

I'd give this a 3.5 today, but think it could be much higher! I went at 1:00 on a Sunday, so I know they're super busy. Clean environment and friendly staff. Helpful when asked for suggestions! Super busy but service was pretty quick. Truffle fries would still be a must order for me, but ours came out cold (COOOLLLLDDDDD) to the touch. I didn't ask them for new ones but I'm sure they would've done it, to be fair. They were still tasty! Spicy chicken Caesar wrap was so surprising and yum! Couldn't taste the crouton crumbs at all, and was definitely lacking a lot of crunch since it was spring mix, not romaine lettuce. Finally, turkey prosciutto panini was pretty yummy, but I wouldn't call it a panini by any means. Good sandwich, but way more bread than I was hoping for since it was listed as a panini. Anyway, overall, super easy crowd pleasing food with a ton of yummy sounding options. Will definitely be back and hope for better execution next time!! read more

My first time to the SouthPark location and it was easy to locate and plenty of parking even with it being Saturday early afternoon. I will say the place was packed and seating was very limited. However, we were lucky to grab a table inside. Ordering was a breeze and the cashier was so sweet and friendly. I ordered chai tea latte and the Cesar salad wrap with a side of Parmesan fries. The wrap was good, but nothing that I would be craving over other places. The fries were crispy and season well. Overall, it was good, but I am not looking to go back anytime soon. read more

The sweet potato pancakes tho. Not overly sweet. Love the honey cinnamon butter and toasted pecans on top. The rosemary was an unexpected savory touch. Ima have to steal that! Everything else we ordered - the pesto egg white sammy & bandito burrito - was fresh, clean, and tasty too. This new Salted Melon location is a nice addition to the neighborhood for a quick Sunday brunch. Just know, it can get pricey. Gonna go back and try lunch and the sweat treats! read more

I tried Salted Melon for the first time and ordered the Street Car. The flavors were really good and I enjoyed it overall. The steak was overdone and a little chewy but still tasty enough that I finished the whole thing. The vibe here is bright, modern and full of energy. The staff was kind, the service was smooth and I can definitely see myself coming back to explore more of the menu. There is so much variety that one visit is not enough. This visit was a solid four stars for me and I would happily give it another try. read more

Very different from the original location in south end, this is more quick service than sit down. You go up to the counter to order, they have tons of options from salads to sandwiches, smoothies etc. they have a drink cooler of sparkling waters and some alcoholic options. I just came for a snack and got the side of truffle fries and pasta salad but both were very tasty!!! It was quick and the servers were friendly. Since it's more of a quick service, no one waits on you and you clear your own plates. It was a bit pricy for what I got. There was plenty of seating including cute outdoor seating. The back wall is all windows without blinds/ curtains and we went in on a hot June afternoon so it was pretty hot in there. Would go back. read more

I ate a few bites off opposite side, but I did not feel comfortable eating the same salad that had the undercooked chicken on it. This is a wonderful new addition to Southpark. The food is good and it is a great spot to meet friends or grab a quick bite. I have emailed the company suggestions to make this a 5 but no one has responded. Here are a few suggestions. The place is loud! I have had two people with me with hearing issues and they both complained about the acoustics. They need more seating. There is a lot of wasted space. At lunch it would really help to have more indoor seating. During busy times they need to establish a rule about time at tables when you are working and not eating. Someone taking up a space for four and not eating does not work at busy times. The avacado toast needs more flavor. read more

Definitely will be back. I went in tonight around 5pm with both of my young kids and they were indecisive and grabbing chips asking for everything and the two ladies that were there were so patient and so helpful. There was one girl sweeping the floor by the coolers when I walked in with such a big smile welcoming us in and the other young lady taking our order recommended her favorites and was so patient. They even gave me a couple extra cups for my drink so my two daughters could sample the signature fountain drinks. The food was so good.
