I have officially given this Saltgrass location all the chances I am willing to give. Four visits among co-workers, friends, and family. Different days, different times have all had the same outcome. Why I thought a holiday weekend at 3:45 PM would somehow be better is between me and my optimism! We wanted outdoor seating... should have taken it as a sign when we were told they were not seating outside. We stayed anyway because we were initially told that they would "fit" us in around their reservations. Spoiler alert: plenty of empty tables when we left, so maybe short-staffed? Maybe a mystery? Who knows. Bathroom was already out of paper towels, which really set the tone. Our server clearly needed a break and was spread thin--thankfully we had a water pitcher on the table because our teas ran dry and stayed that way. Hydration was the highlight. Food-wise: the grilled shrimp was undercooked, the Brussels sprouts were very committed to being overcooked, and everything tasted like it knew it was mid-day food that just wanted to clock out. It is especially disappointing because I know other Saltgrass locations are good. This one just is not it. With so many great restaurants in the Landing area, I would highly recommend going literally anywhere else. Benefit of the doubt has officially been used up.

We went to this place while visiting Branson because we had a gift card for my daughter's birthday. I wouldn't expect it to be anything spectacular but the waitress made it better than spectacular and my daughter really enjoyed herself. Upon arriving, it was extreme cold and we want to wear about the park at the landing so that was crazy trying to figure out but they made sure we sit us in the warm spot once we were inside the restaurant. Very thankful for that. The restaurant wasn't overly packed, but everything we got from the service to the food was five stars. All the drinks we had and the appetizers in the food came out. It was very flavorful and the portions were very good size. I'm not usually a fan of fried vegetables, but I'd eat those fried women's and fried asparagus any day. They made my daughter's birthday extra special by singing, happy birthday and giving her free cheesecake and also giving her and her friends pitchers of Sprite because they kept asking for refills lol it was actually quite funny that the waitress went along with it. Overall, I would recommend this place and I will definitely be visiting again when I hit Branson .

Saltgrass Steakhouse in Branson, Missouri is a wonderful place to enjoy dinner with a couple, family, or group. The service is very professional, and the steaks are fabulous. I would like to emphasize the professionalism of Bobby, Laura, and Austin. It's a restaurant to enjoy and admire Lake Taney Como.

Everything we tried here was so good. The only complaint I would have about the food is that the fries were not hot. The server was a little slow, however everything we had was good. They have plenty of seating inside and outside! We will for sure be eating at another one!

These were amazing! I did not care for the sauce they were paired with however, but they were fantastic on their own. The cornbread was good, but extremely crumbly. Hard to eat without it falling apart with each bite. Also the butter served with it was a necessity for me because without it these cornbread muffins were pretty dry. For my entree i ordered the fried catfish. This was HUGE and well worth the $19.99 IMO. I only was able to eat one fillet and the fries before i was stuffed. My wife got the large Ceaser salad and shared it with my son, and my daughter enjoyed an order of fries and the appetizers. They aren't big seafood people and I had promised them ice-cream afterwards if they agreed to come here. Service was great and the food was fast and fresh! Bottomline: The hype for White River Fish House is legit, and is a great stop if your looking for a good seafood option in the Branson Landing area. The view over the lake / river is gorgeous and the rustic wood sportsman cabin theme is a personal favorite of mine. Only change i would make is that I should have gotten the Walleye.

The poutine was fabulous. The fry coating was crisp and tasty and the gravy was full of flavor. The Reuben sandwich is outstanding! The way they cut that corned beef was nothing short of magic. An egg on there? What? I've never heard of such a thing, but yes please. And I had the brûlée corn; which I may need to learn how to replicate because I've never seen this on any menu in Chicago, but it's too far to travel as often as I'll be thinking about that dish! The old fashions were smooth! Went with vanilla and loved the subtle flavors. Everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was a delightful mix of old school pub/English castle. All of it was just what I was hoping to find. Food off the beaten path that deserves a huge shout out. In a town of bland flavors, this place shines like a real gem!

Sure...but they have been on the Landing for years. They have big corporate resources and training plans. Everything was various levels of horrid. - Had our reservation since Feb or March. Confirmed 4 times and as late as the day before. Our table outside was given away. And we even had a large group - money was getting dropped by our group. Our group had to split up n multiple tables. - Service was a level that's less than amateur. Why? Our table orders first/before the others in our group. Our food however, comes out (after) everyone else's food came out and they were nearly done eating. - Quality is not there on the night. . Now, given the debacle with our particular table reservation....and my wife, though always will be professional and never some unreasonable person....she will be articulate in questioning how this all occurred with reservation. So, given the table (she) is at, that has the food so il-timed in coming to that table of all tables....its hard to (not) believe this was all intentional by staff. It's too coincidental and too mistimed for so long....on a place offering basically a homogenous product to every table...that the error was resolved very expeditiously. . Hey, I hope the store mgr/owner reads this review and provides us all a reply. Oh, they'll try and spin my experience. But there is no spinning and we deserve every cent back we paid. How embarrassing we didn't have our outside table for our group - and we're the host couple for our group. We meticulously plan so things are nice for others. You'd think after you screwed up our groups reservation....our table would have had an elevated level of service. Oh no, the night only got worse. Again, hard to believe this is anything (but) intentional by the staff.

I will say that the pork belly po' boy was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life! I almost stayed in town longer on the second day just to order it again. The pork belly was smoky, tender, and sweet and paired so well with the grain mustard, pickled onions and arugula -- superb balance of flavors. My husband also noted the shrimp and grits was some of the best he's ever had. The shrimp and pork belly in the dish were perfectly cooked and the Cajun spices were well balanced. The irony of the first course is I always associate persimmons with Autumn but they were perfect in the arugula salad. I feel guilty about my seafood allergy usually requiring at least one substitution but what I was treated to instead of the octopus (which everyone else raved about) was the pistachio crusted lamb lollipops from the restaurant's main menu. Lamb, and green... what better expression of Spring? I would say that was the best lamb I have ever been served but it only displaced the last time I had it at Worman. The tortellini and striploin were scrumptious as well but the dessert tonight was over the top. Several of us commented that we'd never be satisfied with plain ol' strawberry shortcake again. I've tried myself to put an Italian spin on this summertime staple before by macerating the sliced, sweetened berries in balsamic then whipping flecks of minced basil into the cream. Like a caprese salad, the resulting green, white, and red are an homage to their flag. But the inclusion of limoncello was absolutely inspired! Service, as always, was in a league all its own. But I was especially aware this dinner of the artistry of whatever small army of platers there must be hidden back in the kitchen. Whether it's a more intimate wine dinner in the library or we take over the restaurant proper like at Celebration of Tastes, every course comes out looking as consistently beautiful up and down the table. Growing up in a family of 4 kids, Food FOMO was a real thing. My poor mother had to keep track of whose turn it was to get the coveted dab of bacon in a can of pork & beans or sliver of cherry in fruit cocktail. No one leaves Worman House feeling shortchanged.

After about 3 more minutes she seated us by the window. We were there for a friend's birthday celebration and wanted it to be special. Her husband told the server. My husband ordered the Worman's Manhattan. He really enjoyed the current infused rye whiskey in it. It added a very unique flavor to the drink. We were brought a complimentary chef's taste of a goat cheese on a small bagette and small glass of sparkling wine. My husband ordered the seafood pot pie and I had the French onion soup and winter spice cranberry salad. The soup was very good and flavorful but the salad was average and definitely not worth the price. My husband enjoyed the seafood pot pie. It was a very generous serving . He shared some with me. It was very rich and creamy. I didn't particularly like the mussels and clams still in their shells inside the" pie" however the pot pie is just pastry crust over a cast iron pan with the creamed sea food. After the meal we were given some stale macaroons with filling that tasted like frosting. There was No acknowledgement of my friend's birthday. We decided to walk down to see Harry's cocktail bar downstairs before calling our shuttle. The manager came into the bar in a bit of a hurried frenzy as we were walking out and asked if it was someone's birthday. We pointed to our friend and he told her happy birthday and then left?!?! Overall I was disappointed in the experience for the amount of money we spent.
