I live in Los Angeles, and after looking at dozens of photographers (including all the usual suspects listed here on yelp, and in the bridal directories), they all looked a little stiff and conventional (and often times not that skilled) -- not to mention, the decent ones were ridiculously expensive! Luckily for me, I stumbled upon his website, and loved the style of his photos -- hip, a little quirky, and not cheesy (if this sounds like your style, be sure to check out his blog to get a feel of his aesthetic). From the get go, Mark was extremely easy to work with, accomodating, and a great presence during my wedding. Many of the guests actually commented on what a cool, laid back photographer we had. I honestly think that who you choose as a photographer is one of the most important parts of your wedding experience because those photos last forever; and I think that Mark did an amazing job (his photos were bright, well composed, and intimate), and was worth every penny we spent.
