Me and a couple of friends came here due to our friend's recommendation. She had nothing but positive things to say about her many experiences there. The owner Randy was very accommodating and friendly. He gave us a tour of his property which included showing us his horses and the adorable highland cows. I've never seen this breed of cow in person so I was surprised by how short or smaller they were compared to common dairy cattle you see on the massive milk farms. They were even cuter in person. We had a wine tasting which is complimentary when you purchase a bottle of wine. I ended up getting a bottle of wine that was great to where I wanted to bring it home to save for a special occasion. Randy the owner informed us that usually in April was when they served wood fired pizzas and charcuterie you can have along with your wine. We will definitely be back to have the wood fired pizza! The property is scenic and also they host weddings as a venue.

An absolute GEM of a winery barely an hour outside of Sacramento! My wife and I recently celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary with a "local getaway" to the "Tiny House" on the state of Saluti Cellars. Even though we were only a little over an hour's drive from our home in Granite Bay, once we got to this locale, it was if we became surrounded by nothing but nature. God's country. The perfect "local getaway." We of course had to do some wine-tasting at Saluti Cellars, but what we actually experienced was FAR beyond anything we could have imagined. We were greeted warmly by Sharon, who conducted the tasting with us. I was blown away. I have never experienced such wonderful tasting wine outside of Napa. From the fresh and fruity viognier to dark and sultry zinfandel, every next wine we tasted as nothing short of heavenly. Without hesitation we joined their very reasonable Wine Club, and we bought several bottles. The icing on the cake was getting a personal tour of the winery by the owner, Randy. Accompanied by his faithful dogs, Zeus and Cosmo, Randi showed us the horses, the cows, the wine caves, and of course the vineyard itself. We are now hooked on Saluti and look forward to becoming regular patrons.

Another amazing time at Saluti! Every time we come here Randi & his staff always makes us feel right at home! The wood fire pizza is always such a treat and pairs so nicely with the wine. And on top of it, you can't beat the view! 100% recommend for a relaxing & tasty wine experience.

Randy the owner of the Saluti is amazing My youngest son got married on June 17 and not only was the venue so beautiful there's a house where the girls got ready And a pool house on the other side of the property for the boys to swim and play and get ready and surrounded by hills trees and a beautiful vineyard so many beautiful views There's a tiny Airbnb you could rent too Also a tractor and old trailer that brings the girls down from the house Also a extraordinary cellar for the rehearsal dinner And a pizza party patio where some brides with smaller weddings choose to do their ceremony It's all in all amazing

Service was excellent. The wines are amazing. (I actually don't like wine and I enjoyed the Viognier, Chardonnay, Capisce! Soooo good! Also don't pass up the pizza. The garlic bread, the dessert pizza, the peach pizza! The ambience and property is beautiful. You can also do a horse back ride through the vineyards or down by the river. Check that out too!

What a beautiful place! We went horseback riding on the property, then we got a private tasting by the wonderful owner himself. I can't wait to go back and try their delicious pizza! They were even able to accomodate my partner who is sober, and let him take home a bottle of non alcoholic wine!!

I don't know where to begin with how amazing the whole experience was at Saluti Cellars. A year ago we began the search for a wedding venue and were absolutely blown away the minute we stepped foot at Saluti cellars. Not only was the venue beautiful but Randy, the owner was an amazing person. Choosing Saluti Cellars as our wedding venue was a no-brainer. Over the course of the year prior to our wedding my husband and I enjoyed spending weekends at Saluti Cellars doing wine tasting, eating the amazing brick oven pizza, and going horseback riding on the property. Each time we visited, we felt welcomed by Randy and his crew. As the wedding day approached, Randy continued to be supportive and answered all questions. Fast-forward to the day before our wedding and we had Clint cater our rehearsal dinner at Saluti Cellars. Easy to say that Clint did an amazing job and Randy came to the rescue to help us organize our rehearsal. On the wedding day, we had some snafus as do all weddings however, each time Randy came to the rescue by talking through each situation, being flexible, and reassuring us to make sure that the weekend remained happy and as stress-free as possible. I could go on forever with how amazing Randy was, but I also want to give credit to his amazing crew. Clint was there the day of our rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding. Both days Clint brought so much joy to our wedding guests and was so kind to provide water to the wedding party after the ceremony (it was a hot day). Second, Molly served as our part-time wedding coordinator and bartender. She was incredibly sweet and helpful. I can't imagine not having her to help organize things before our ceremony. She made everything go so smooth and was always ready to support us if needed. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend Saluti Cellars as your wedding venue. You will not be disappointed. My husband and I are excited to continue to visit Saluti Cellars and hopefully one day bring her our future children to see the beautiful place that we said I do.

If you are looking for a wonderful wedding venue at a winery this is it! The property is stunning and service was fantastic! They have hosted many weddings and it shows. Each question we had about the steps and timing was met with exact answers. Our wedding was relatively small compared to some that are held there but none the less everything went off as planned without a hitch. The suite had a beautiful view, clean and very comfortable. We rented an extra room above the barn for another couple who stayed over with us. After the event there were a hand full of us who got to hang out in the cabana. Full moon that evening was spectacular on such a beautiful venue! The wine was fantastic also! If we were getting married all over again we would pick Saluti Cellars. Thank you Randy and Tina! Finally stopped into Saluti Cellars after passing by so many years and boy are we sad we didn't stop here sooner! The grounds are one of the most well kept wineries that we have been to. Clint was amazing and very attentive to my husband, 2 children and I. We brought our dog and she was welcomed with open arms by Zoe, Zeus, Cosmo and Clint's pup Breaker. Randi was extremely welcoming and made sure we seen all the animals. Our daughter loved the horses and I loved the hylands. We feel in love and become members. Already can't wait to come back and bring the rest of our family and friends. Having a glass of wine and walking around was serene and what we call a perfect day. We could have stayed here all day if it wasn't for our little one. To top off the people and the vines the wine was amazing. The Syrah was our favorite!

My husband and I love this place! This was our second time here. The first time we did the eqWINE experience where you ride horses then do a tasting afterwards, which is such a fun date! The second time we just came to enjoy some wine, the beautiful property and pets some animals. This is an hour drive for us but so worth it as the property is beautiful, the wine is great, and the service is amazing. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Definitely a nice place to visit to enjoy some wine and a good view-oh and take some cute pictures!

I love everything about this place. I have done the horseback riding twice and have had great guides each time. All of the staff have great, genuine, customer service. You can laugh and joke while you're getting your wine poured, which is one of my favorite parts. And definitely recommend going on a Saturday when they doing their wood-fired pizzas. Amazing!

Came in for a wine tasting and left with the best taste in my mouth both from the wine and the experience! Such wonderful owners. Hey we're both knowledgeable and hospitable. We took a break in the middle of tasting to tour the wine cave, guided by their amazing fur baby Moke. This was such a beautiful place to drink delicious wine. We will definitely be back! read more

Our daughter Jen and her fiance' Ryan were married here at Saluti's this past weekend. It was a beautiful wedding in every sense. My husband and I received many wonderful compliments on how beautiful the wedding and the venue both were. The owner's 2 dogs, goats, cats and Norman the horse only added to the ambiance of it all. Saluti's owners Randy and Tina, are not only very professional and take the utmost pride in what they do,but most importantly, they know how to make their guests feel at home. Their wine is delicious, their venue is meticulous and their hospitality is on point. On Friday and Sunday afternoons they now serve up their fabulous wines with a yummy pizza that is made right there in their newly built outdoor pizza oven! And if you decide to indulge and spend a night here in either their 2-bedroom B&B suite or their 1-bedroom B&B cottage don't miss the chance of being spoiled by Tina's quiche and poppyseed muffin breakfast. They're to die for!. Lastly, this standup business is also community oriented and stays locally involved by organizing both local concerts and or fundraising events. The next time you are out and about wine tasting in El Dorado County I would highly recommend stopping into Salutis in Somerset. Come see what they are all about. Saluti Cellars is just the absolute perfect venue and we know the first time we visited it was the venue for us. Tina and Randy have become great friends and our wedding was truly a dream day and they did so much to accommodate and make it perfect. We love being wine club members and that we can come anytime and enjoy some great wine and bring family and friends. After touring countless venues it was incredibly easy to book saluti cellars. The grounds are immaculate, the view was incredible even at this time of year ( I can only imagine what it will be like for our date in June) and it's easy to see that the owners take great pride in their work. read more

Memorable Stay This is an amazing place to spend the weekend! The location is snuggled in an area which initially seems a little secluded, until you drive down the road to Saluti Cellars Winery where a spectacular view of the grounds embraces you. The owners have put so much work and concentration in to making this property an absolute oasis in the heart of the El Dorado Hills wine country. This is truly a first class B&B! The rooms are beautiful with attention to every detail from very tasteful décor to turn-down chocolates. Our breakfast was delivered to our room, and the presentation was as gorgeous as the food was, plentiful and delicious. If you are lucky enough to book your stay in the month of August, you may also opt to attend one of the Smokin' Saturday events hosted by the winery owners. It was a lot of fun, complete with live music, food and spirits. read more

Another great time at Saluti Cellars. My husband and I spent the past weekend at Saluti, staying at their beautiful B&B. Such a beautiful setting which includes great people, great animals, and great wine. Randy and Tina are most gracious. A perfect place to relax and enjoy. We were lucky enough to be there on a Sunday night and participate in the Sunday bonfire, meeting some of the locals. Everyone is so friendly. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything utensil you need if you don't want to venture out and eat. What a perfect venue for a wedding! I would like to point out a previous review by "Matt C", you might have been so stunned by the beauty of the venue that you didn't see the 2nd commercial bathroom. The bathrooms are across the driveway from each other. Can't wait till next time. read more

We have been wine club members for over 5 years and we cannot begin to say enough about the owners, their wines, and their beautiful estate. Our most recent visit was with my niece who just turned 21, Tina and Randy made her day with a wagon ride on the property. Their hospitality is always top notch and their wines are always some of our favorite. If your looking for that special place to hold an event, look no further. Saluti Cellars is beautiful, clean and full of ambience. My daughter got married last week end and Tina and Randy were so helpful. They take pride in their Vineyard and treat each client as if they were a family member. From their expertise to their professionalism ,their hard work and personal touch. Tina and Randy work with clients to make sure they have a good time. Besides being breathtakingly beautiful, the place is also a bed and breakfast. While there, you must taste the wine that they make, you won't be disappointed! Whether it's to go wine tasking, have a small gathering, or host a rather large event; I recommend Saluti Cellars. The event will be magical, all due to Randy and Tina Rossi. read more

This is a find! Staying at the Saluti Cellars B&B, we had the best of both worlds. On the one hand we had a winery, tasting room, bocce court, horseshoes pit, hiking trails, acres of vines, natural beauty, and medieval caves to explore, and on the other hand, when we retired from all those activities we walked to our cottage and prepared an Italian dinner for the four of us, two couples tired of Napa, with ample wine, the glow of the fireplace, and cozy beds waiting a few steps away in the Zinfandel and Mourvèdre rooms. Since Saluti is located in the center of the foothills wine region, we had a short drive to the Fairplay wine district to taste and buy other fantastic wines as good as Napa and Sonoma, but at a fraction of the price. We also found an excellent local restaurant about 4 miles away, Gold Vine, that gave real bang for the buck. We enjoyed meeting the super proprietors Randy and Tina Rossi, sampling their excellent wines, and hiking with their dog Moak. I think Norman was the name of the resident Clydesdale. Also, on display in the cave dining room was an authentic Afghani gun from the 1870's like the one described in Sherlock Holmes. What a great time and a great escape from the ordinary. This will be hard to top, and we have travelled most wine districts in the West. read more

We were up visiting some friends is Grizzly Flats and stopped in for a wine tasting. The grounds, tasting room, everything was just beautiful. Our experience was when tasting, usually there is one or two good wines. There were five of us in our group. I'm not a red wine drinker, but the one thing all five of us agreed on was that we enjoyed all but one wine. I actually purchased three reds and will stop in for more next time I am up for a visit. read more

We made this our first stop based on a local's recommendation, and we are really glad we did. If you add 3 pretentious jerks, traffic, and no parking.... this could be anywhere in Napa. we were welcomed immediately upon arriving by the Saluti vineyard dog, then again by the owners when we went inside. My wife went through the whole tasting, me about half... and all were great. Their port was really good! They gave us a tour of the main wine cave, and we chatted about the upcoming harvest and had a nice time! we only bought 2 bottles... but would go back for sure! Bring a picnic and munch on their patios... really nice. read more

Randy & Tina are truly incredible people and their property is magnificent. One of the very best B & Bs we have ever stayed at. We will definitely be returning! I reviewed Saluti a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, it was my first review and Yelp dumped it into the Not Recommended section. I gave Randy and Tina and the Cellars high praise. I could repeat it but just scroll to the bottom and read for yourself. We were so impressed we joined the wine club and make it one if our few regular stops when we go wine tasting. In fact, we'll be there in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend taking the drive out there. It's not close but it will be memorable. read more

Just go here! What a find. Beautiful grounds with lake and vineyards. Lovely property and wine tasting room. Great B & B rooms available for overnight stay. It is all good here. Treat your self to some great wine and peaceful overnight stay. Owners are so friendly and kind. Good selection of wine tasting plus beautiful surroundings. I had the pleasure of having my wedding at Saluti Cellars last night, and it was the most perfect evening I could imagine. The venue is gorgeous, with stunning views of the vineyard and pond. They also have a cool game area with horseshoes and bocce ball, complete with a bonfire! There are amazing photo opportunities at this gorgeous site and they have an awesome wine cave! Our wedding was in the evening and they also provided propane heaters as it started to get chilly outside. I was lucky enough to stay with my bridesmaids at the Bed and Breakfast on-site and it was perfect for us to get ready there together and also have a place for the bridal party to meet up after the ceremony to celebrate with a champagne toast! Tina and Randy are extremely easy to work with, professional, helpful, and so nice! They will promptly respond to any inquiries you may have, and they will work with you to make your day exactly how you want it to be. I would highly recommend Saluti Cellars as your wedding venue. Tina and Randy, Erick and I cannot thank you enough for everything! Our night was beyond magical, and we had the best time!!! Thank you! read more

Saluti Cellars is a unique piece of property nestled in a gorgeous little valley. You feel welcomed in the tasting room and the wine is very good. We were blown away by the wine cave. I first became aware of Saluti when I attended a wedding there a couple of years ago. Since then I have stayed at the lovely Bed and Breakfast which was delightful. My daughter was married at Saluti this weekend. We live locally, and this is one of our favorite wineries so we were very happy my daughter chose it for her wedding. Tina and Randy are wonderful to work with and were very helpful during the process to make suggestions for saving money as well as helping things go smoothly on the special day. They have a lot of experience with weddings and brought up some things that we hadn't considered. The venue is beautiful in every season and is the perfect place as a setting for a wedding or any other special life event. The wines are excellent as well. read more

It was open and airy and had fairytale hobbit vibes ! I loved all the natural atm ! The reception was held outdoors under a large white tent with long tables . The cocktail hour and dancing was held in the open air barn space that was decorated with cabin like decor and great lighting . Behind the barn they had cool little chickens running around and lots of space for guests to roam around if they choose . It was so cute and fun! The location is a little bit of a drive from larger cities . Coming from Sacramento, it look about a hour drive . I believe they have rooms and even camping site to stay at if you wanted to stay overnight . What a great space for a wedding or whatever else celebration! The staff was nice , the parking was convenient. I would be excited to visit again if an opportunity comes up !

I came up for a wedding and got to see goats, ducks, chickens, and livestock guardian dogs.

We stopped at Wally's Pizza for dinner in Cameron Park based off their restaurant suggestions on their website and sent via text check in instructions. Great suggestion! The next mornings breakfast is texted the night before, offering some options like juice preference. And it's delivered around 9am the next morning. Since we had to be at rafting at 9 our first morning at the Inn, they delivered us fruit, scones, and juice early at 8:15am which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, both mornings. And super fresh. We stayed in the Cypress room. Was as pictured online. Room was clean. The patio area is nice. We explored the grounds a bit our last morning and saw many places to sit around. We enjoyed some time up at the pond in the morning. The staff - I assume owners - were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here and would return!

David and Karen, the owners, are so sweet and welcoming. The inn is dog friendly, as there is a fully functioning outdoor patio area you can eat meals at. There's also a fire pit that's gorgeous at night, and plenty of bird feeders. If you enjoy birdwatching, this is the place as there are a variety of different feathered visitors that come by this naturally beautiful retreat. If you're looking for a peaceful, romantic, and memorable retreat, Eden Vale Inn is your place! Would definitely recommend.

Janet had some fresh baked cookies and some lemon rosemary infused water ready for us at check-in. Janet was a welcoming hostess, both friendly and accommodating. She called to arrange a last minute reservation for us at a local restaurant the Friday evening of our arrival (a busy evening in the area), demonstrating what a close-knit, community the Fairplay/Somerset area is. She gave us some good tips on the local wineries, as well. The room was quiet and comfortable (comfy Cal King bed). The cabins have the creature comforts conveniences of home (a/c, mini-fridge, coffee maker) but are secluded on the rolling, tree lined hills. We enjoyed being mostly disconnected from the internet (Verizon LTE service was good but we limited our use). We relaxed, enjoying the scenery, hiking around the 146 acre property, wine tasting and enjoying the area attractions (Kennedy Mine, Downtown Placerville, a day trip to Lake Tahoe). There are many things to see and do in the area, but relaxing and enjoying the outdoors was the biggest part of the attraction to Seven-Up. It was like being with nature (but with a cozy room). Each morning we had coffee on the front porch of the cabin, listening to the birds sing, and each evening we retreated there for a bottle of wine watching the sun fade behind the trees and mountains. We did not want to leave. If you are looking for a low-key, quiet escape, close to nature, look no further than Seven-Up Guest Ranch. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning to return next summer.

We stayed in the Bella Vista honeymoon suite. I loved it. It allowed my husband and I to talk. There's a calming and clarifying vibe to the room and the place in general. The meals were uber fresh (filling enough that we skipped lunch both days!). Every day around 5 you're treated to wine and cheese. Perfect location to wine taste on property or venture out to the growing number of top rated wineries. Walk amongst the vineyards or take out one the beach cruisers or trikes for a ride around. At night, the fire pits are a nice touch, or just lounge on you private deck for a sunset and a moonset. Looking forward to our return!

We found out we were the only paying guests, the rests were friends of the owners. We have stayed multiple times in the area at other establishments, never this issue. Won't be back-

We were invited to camp at the property but I am a princess and need amenities. Hubby found this cottage on the web. It exponentially exceeded my expectations. The one bedroom cottage has a full kitchen and backyard seating area. It is just lovely. The owner Nancy lives in the front house and her special touches are what impressed me the most. Before we arrived she sent a list of restaurants and wineries to visit. The cottage is stocked with treats, coffee, dishes, spices, magazines and nicely decorated. She provides far more than any other rental of it's type we have stayed at. It was so inviting and comfortable. My delight on entering reminded my of visits thankfully paid by my employer to the Four Seasons in Punta Mita, Mexico and The Rome Hilton on the hill. I am not comparing the amenities just the feeling of delight on having the opportunity to stay at an exceptional place. We could have paid $99 a night for 2 nights but stayed 1 night for $169. A great value. My highest recommendation.

I always say the most important thing in a hotel/b&b is the bed. Their king sized bed did not disappoint, it was very comfy and had awesome pillows. There were even little chocolates left on the nightstand. The best part about this place is the location - literally right next door to Perry Creek Winery (try their Zinman) and Windwalker (we like their Sierra Sunset wine). Make sure to pack carrots and apples because they have two beautiful horses you can feed in the early morning. If you are looking for something luxurious this isn't the place - but if you want privacy and relaxation it is perfect. I felt it was a bit overpriced at $179 (196 after taxes).. but I suppose thats because we booked for just one night and on a Saturday. Overall a good choice for anyone looking for a romantic weekend away.

There are so many wines to try (mostly reds) to try. We had been previous wine club members (didn't stop because of the winery) and knew all of the great wines to taste as well as try some of their current ports. Needless to say ended up with a case and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff are so friendly and the tasting in a cave makes it a unique experience.

My best friend who (is from ELDO county) lives in Utah found this place on Yelp, First time my fiance (now husband), mother in law and I went out there, it hailed on us! Tina didn't think we'd come out due to the weather, but I knew we were looking at that time of year, so I wanted to see how covered the barn area was. Tina jumped in the truck with us explained all the animals, wines, details of the venue. I've seen pictures of the barn area but when u see it in person, pictures don't do justice. Randy did a beautiful job, every little detail of the barn area, the pond, the rooms are just beautiful. I immediately told my (husband) I want this place. This is exactly what we were looking for, the rustic country barn venue. We didn't even look at the other appointments we had scheduled with other venues. I absolutely love this place, perfect place to have a wedding or party.such a beautiful wedding held 120people easily. The rooms were cozy, Tina brought us breakfast the day after the wedding,which was also tasty, I've never stayed at a bed and breakfast, when I do it'll def be at saluting cellars again! We have been members here for years & I can say that Saluti Cellars never disappoints. From the breath taking views, to the wonderful food, all the way down to the amazing 5 star service! Randy & his team are the best in the business & know how to have a great time with fun conversation. He took us around his property, gave us a tour of his beautiful land & animals all while we shared wine & enjoyed each others presence. We visited this winery during a girls' weekend and had the best time! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The wine was fantastic, and the pizza we had was absolutely delicious. We also got a tour of the winery, which included stunning views and even some adorable animals.
