We decided to go with Cure-Rite Concrete after receiving a few other bids. Even though they weren't…read morethe cheapest option, we chose them because Jasper, Cristian, and their crew clearly stood out, and we're so glad we did. Their craftsmanship was exceptional, and their professionalism was evident from day one. From our first conversation, Jasper took the time to walk us through his portfolio and explain the different types of concrete, which really helped us feel confident in our decisions. We hired Cure-Rite Concrete for two major projects. The first was installing a brand-new three-car driveway with additional sidewalks and replacing the damaged concrete supporting the pillars of our garage apartment. The second project required them to travel nearly 20 miles to my parents' home to replace an aging boardwalk with a slanted cement walkway leading to the entrance, and to bulldoze a 50-year-old cement-and-brick pillar to make room for a small side patio. Their crew worked seamlessly across both properties, and impressively, both projects were completed within a week and done beautifully. We had a few minor hiccups along the way, but Jasper and Cristian were quick to respond and addressed every issue promptly and professionally. If you have a project involving new cement, do yourself a favor and hire Cure-Rite Concrete. In fact, my parents were so pleased with the results that they're planning to hire them again to install a cement back patio, a side patio, and to replace their old two-car driveway. Thank you, Jasper and Cristian, for delivering two projects with true excellence. Highly recommended!

I found Eric Lonestar Masonry through Yelp. I have to be honest I would not recommend Eric…read more There were few repairs needed to be done which I agreed to pay $950 for. I made sure he understood and saw in-person what was needed and asked him if he still wanted to proceed before work started. Several times after agreeing on the scope of work and payment Eric seemed to want to change what was agreed on. (payment and work) Micro-managing Eric was exhausting. End result was not what I had repeatedly told Eric. I had marked specific broken bricks for him and they did not get replaced. I told Eric to please match the caulking color. I asked him several times if he would have any issues doing any of these things and he repeatedly said he wouldn't. In the end I paid the full $950 for the work done.

I hired Eric from Lone Star Masonry for a brick restoration project. Unfortunately, the experience…read morewas highly unprofessional from the outset. He failed to begin the work on time, and when he eventually did, he arrived without the necessary materials. Eric had assured me that he would personally oversee the job and work with his crew; however, there was no crew. Instead, he sent his elderly parents, who worked for only a couple of days before they all left for Mexico without any notice. Throughout the process, Eric consistently failed to show up at the times he committed to. What was originally estimated to be a 4-5 day project ended up dragging on for over a month. During that time, I had to contact Eric repeatedly--at least five to six times--to remind him that the work was still incomplete. Despite the lack of progress, he persistently pressured me for payment. Eventually, out of sheer frustration, I paid him in full, even though the job had not been completed. To make matters worse, the work site was left in a mess. My yard was cluttered with debris, and there was no proper cleanup effort. The entire job was handled in an extremely unprofessional manner and fell far short of basic expectations for quality and accountability. Mumtaz Jesani

To say I am a disappointed and unhappy customer would be the understatement of the year,…read more Contracted with the business to build a backyard patio for us. The patio included the purchase of a grill recommended and sold by the company. Construction of the patio was completed in April of 2024. July 2024 the grill no longer works. We have been in constant contact with the company asking for help. This project was far from inexpensive and part of enjoying the patio is the ability to grill. Our GC said they had received other complaints on the grill they recommended and sold us. Per the GC they would give us another grill since there are known issues with the one they sold us. I had communication with the GC on the following dates: July 13, July 18, July 24, July 29, July 30, July 31, August 2, August 8, August 9, August 14, August 19, August 29, August 30, Sept 9, Sept 11, Sep 24, Oct 8, Oct 9, October 15. The whole time being promised we are working on it and want to do the right thing for you as our customer. I finally reach out to have my issue escalated to the owner and was told 1. No - I'm not getting a new grill (although they know this one has issues) 2. They haven't even begun the process to get the replacement part. We have been led on 4+ plus months through darn near weekly conversations "Of this sucks. We want to make it right. We are working on it" - to find out it has all been a big lie. Four months later and we still have no resolution.
