Nima and his team have made the flooring portion of our project one of the most successful parts. We spoke to many different flooring companies from Salinas to San Jose trying to find the right material, and finally found it at Samaya's. Nima is both highly knowledgeable about all aspects of flooring and very generous in sharing that knowledge; a rare combination! But choosing the right material was only the first step. Nima and his team were extremely flexible in scheduling the installation of our flooring, which because of the nature of our project needed to be completed in stages. We ended up having two different installation crews working on different phases, but all of the team members were highly skilled and professional. Perhaps most importantly, they were all good communicators, which greatly facilitated completing the installation successfully. If they had a question, they asked it rather than making assumptions, and if we had a question they answered it patiently and clearly. Each phase of our installation was completed in a timely manner (in some cases under challenging circumstances), and all of the floors installed look wonderful. Nima and his crew are the best in town when it comes to floors. We just had our whole house done with Engineered Hardwood. Nima educated us and helped us pick out the floors. The installation is where you really see the difference. Alex and his team were so thorough in the prep work. You really don't understand how much time and patience it takes to make the sub floors level and squeak free. We just had our stairs redone replacing carpet with Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring. The installation team of two were polite, detail-oriented and very skilled. They were also very good at cleaning up at the end of each day which I appreciated. The stairs were complicated to do as we live in an old house. We love the hardwood floor that Nima and Alex refinished. The floor was in terrible condition and required lacing new wood with the old. After they worked their magic you would never know the floor wasn't brand new.
