To my surprise, they were able to come out on Sunday, within just two hours of my call. The technician quickly diagnosed the issue as a broken spring. At first, I wasn't convinced because I was still assuming it was related to the recent power outage, but he took the time to explain the problem clearly. My home was built in 2019 and came with an internal spring system installed by the builder. I learned that these springs are typically rated for only about 5,000-6,000 open/close cycles and eventually wear out over time.
