Eating the caviar alone will always be my fave, but the sides are a nice touch! Our host (whose name I forget, sorry) was amazing! She knew so much about the caviar, explained everything, and she explained info about the different champagnes to my friends too. The tasting started with bumps of each caviar and tastings of the champagnes with the caviar types. Then we got to eat and drink as we wanted. He came out to check (and chat) on us several times. We selected a bottle of old vine Zinfandel and their Charcuterie board. OH so good! The wine was wonderful and so smooth paired with the meat and cheeses we were on cloud nine. Their tasting was on the pricey side which is why we elected to get a full bottle. They showcase wines from long time Calistoga native Dick Vermeil's family. The tasting room is warm, comfortable, spacious and welcoming. The wines here are fabulous and are high quality.
