Courtland Dental. Now my experience started in Holyoke offices first, Nothing against the staff personally, They were very friendly, had great attitudes, and were all very nice too me. But I went in because the beginning of my process included removing teeth that were infected and the only way to save them was going to be route canal (NO) so I chose removal and went for partials instead... Now to the part that started this crisis, After going into Holyoke for the gel crap they have to use to make the indents for your partials I went in for a fitting afterwards. Then the offices at Holyoke temporarily shut down but they ASSURED me that my paperwork and my partials would be at the Springfield offices, they were not and I had to call them myself to schedule yet ANOTHER appointment for the gel crap once again, left, came back for the other appointment to make sure they fit... Then apparently "FED EX lost the paperwork"... so they made me come back AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME for more of that gel crap... Now I am on the fitting part, but funny thing, No one is picking up there phone at the Springfield offices, now you may be thinking "Ohh, you are probably calling at a bad time." Ok, that's fair if I tried once a day... but how about 17 TIMES IN THE SPAN OF A WEEK?! And some others may be going "Ohh well they transfer you to an office that can help further" Ohh well that's amazing... If more people there actually understood me over the phone instead of having a language barrier over the phone. Now don't get me wrong I did get some people who were fluent in English but even THEY were unhelpful. I have been very patient, I have been very calm with these people every time I have ever stepped foot in that office despite living two towns over. I am now at my breaking point, If you are looking for a dentist and cannot find anywhere else to go, You are better off ripping the teeth out of your mouth yourself than going through this anger inducing process, I am still in the process of finishing this place here, but once this procedure is done, I will never return to this place again.

Finally, when he realized I would not go for price he stated. He stated he could do nothing. At my last visit for teeth cleaning, a different person than the one I had been accustomed to did my cleaning. This woman did not explain things well, was extremely rough, and never gave me a breather. She started to floss my teeth, and I had to stop. When I went to the receptionist, I was very angry. I was not going to say anything. Then, this totally unprofessional woman goes to the receptionist and says she (meaning me) just got up and left. At that point, I got mad and stated why I was so angry. Woman then says that she was cleaning my teeth (that justified her extreme roughness) and at that point I lost it. She then says why didn't you say anything-I just looked at her (how can someone say something when something is in their mouth). Then, she and the receptionist go running to the dentist like two idiot children. At that point, I left. Finally, I cannot comprehend how this dentist was ever rated number one.

He is great for emergency visits, very accommodating, again, the patient's comfort is first. The office is clean and neat. All staff are professionally presentable; you won't about the hygiene in this office. His apt. scheduling is flexible, if you can not get the EXACT time or day, it will be as close as possible, but in 3 years, I always got the time slot I feel comfortable in.
