Lamb Biryani had no meat in it at all, but the lid has the pile of bones I picked out of it.

Ordered delivery: lamb biryani and lamb tikka. The lamb biryani literally did not have a single piece of lamb in it, but it was full of bone shards. Like fragments throughout. I picked out all the big pieces and tried to eat what was left only to nearly break a tooth on smaller shards. I had to throw it away. See photo for the pile of bones I picked out. The "lamb" tikka was chicken. We also got a mango drink and it was room temperature.

I really do love this place. Best Indian food in the area! Great customer service and great food!

Supposed goat curry not even single meat inside should call it onions curry

If I can give them minus star they nasty food deserves it Honestly their attitude were cool and all that but the food they give me is the nastiest and racistest disgusting food of the year, not sure how they are even in business they should close immediately. This pani puri looks like that lady cooked it while having pain in her puri lol. People who rated 5 star maybe just family and friends lmfao.

Special Samosa
Ranjit G.

The samosay were horrible, barely edible. They looked like they were fried twice. They were way too hard and crispy to eat. I couldn't even tell what was inside. You are supposed to visually be able to see the potatoes and peas when breaking a samosa open. The chutneys were a disappointment as well. The red one wasn't sweet at all. And the green one was watery; it's not supposed to be watery. It's supposed to be thick and bitter. Nobody was able to eat more than one of these over fried super oily samosay. I had to throw away 7 that were left. Oh, the box is amazing. Two stars for the amazingly designed box.

Wrost biryani I had ever. And raita does not come with it. I am not recommending this place.

My friend from El Cerrito has been coming here for years and took me to eat dinner here but now a new owner has expanded the restaurant space and upgraded the ambiance. The owner greeted us and the service was top tier, friendly, fast and provided all that we asked for, which of course included some mango chutney. My friend had the Pakora dish with chickpeas and was very tasty and fresh. I had the chicken tandoori which has a Smokey tang to them and the jasmine rice and sauces were all excellent. My chicken was moist and juicy and came out steaming on a hot platter. The serving sizes were generous and the price was very reasonable. The owner offered some tasting of Free Kittens beer and it was also delicious and we ordered some. The beer selection is second to none and had my favorite oatmeal stout ! It was quiet and seating was comfortable. I had leftovers as there was so much to eat despite being hungry from moving furniture all day. The menu is expansive and the food came quickly, a definite return choice in East Bay off the beaten path.

I went with some co workers for lunch and we shared what we individually ordered amongst ourselves because it was our first time getting Nepali food. When we arrived, there was no one at the front. Mind you, we came in 30 mins after opening for lunch. We rang the bell multiple times and then as we were about to go to a different place, thinking there was no one around, the cook came out and took our orders. I could tell he was a but overwhelmed since we were a group of 5, but he was really nice and courteous. He also answered the questions we had concerning the food. It took about 40 - 50 mins for our food to get in. We were the only ones in the restaurant so I'm surprised it took the long. That being said, i realized there was only one cook in the kitchen to it makes sense why it took so long however, I was not mentally prepared to wait that long. Around 12 pm, the hostess came in and was shocked to see us. She apologized for being late and wanted to get our orders but we told her the cook already got them. After waiting for about 50 mins, we finally got our orders. The food was AMAZING. Starting with the chicken sekuwa. It was a complete 10/10. I would definitely come back just for this. It was seasoned to perfection, very tender and juicy. The C Momo was very crispy and covered in a nice sweet chilli sauce. They're like deep fried dumplings. I would give it an 8/10. The lamb curry was very savory and filling. We got that with some rice and roti. It paired very well. I would also rate that an 8/10. The lamb thali was good but I think I was overwhelmed with everything on the plate. It was not bad, the lamb and lentil soup were good but I think I did not know how best to eat it so I could not fully appreciate it. I would give it a 6.5 The thai iced tea was pretty standard one. Very nice and not too sweet. 8/10 for ne The food here was pretty remarkable. I usually don't care about 'bad' service but this one really had a huge impact and stopped me from giving it a higher rating. I would not be too keen on coming back here with how understaffed they are but I do understand. If you're not in a rush, and are ready to grow your fruit of patience, I would definitely say the food is worth the wait and it was really good.

Pretty much selfserve, you order & pay @ the front counter, then pick up your food when it's ready - not the best set-up if you are not ambulatory, but I was there to assist ! We also got chai tea, unsweetened but I asked for sugar - it's in a salt shaker ! There is not much decor or style - it's more like "fast food" & the price & quantity are a good value ! I was craving Indian food, but not a heavy meal before work. I love Indian street food and found this via yelp. It's a small little place with like 4 table and two Aunties running the place. I ordered idly vada platter and the mysore masala dosa. It came with sambar and coconut chutney. The vada was great, but the idly seemed like it was microwaved which causes it to become rubbery and hard. However the dosa was out of this world. I get it Indian spicy because if they perceived you as Gori they will make their spicy mild. It was enough food to fill me up and I had 1/2 the dosa to take with me. Will be back to try other items on their menu. Definitely will be back or at least order to go before between jobs.

The perfect level of sweetness, and I will say most Indian restaurants sweeten their mango lassis WAY too much. - good service - big parking lot (not sure if it's Bevmo's, but we parked there anyway) Cons: - they were out of strawberry lassi :[ and another flavor too (I forget which). Either way, the only option was mango. - there are flies inside the restaurant and it's annoying to swat them out of the way throughout the meal.

We were seated immediately and didn't need to look at the menu too long before we ordered. We decided on pani puri and veggie samosas for apps and tikka masala and butter chicken, rice and garlic naan. I ordered a vegan mango lassi and him a regular mango lassi. The pani puri was ok. I like the crispy, but I wasn't too fond of the filling to be chilled. It also had a slight sweetness to it and it wasn't my favorite. I've had it before, but I don't remember it being chilled on the inside, but what I do like about it what is that? It has a crispy shell when you bite into it. The veggie samosas were my favorites. The butter chicken was kind of bland as well as the tikka masala. It did not stop me from finishing my garlic naan with our dishes but I found myself wishing it was more flavorful. My vegan mango lassi had a taste that I wasn't too fond of and didn't finish it. At the end of the meal, it was more than $100 and that was sticker shock for me. I don't think I'm returning, but the service is friendly.
