I was craving caffeine bad. A friend of mine told me to try the bagel spot. It was packed but that line moved like no other. We grabbed our bagels and coffee and were even able to snag a small table in the corner. The coffee was pretty straightforward. It's self serve and as far as I know all the containers were full and hot. It definitely got the job done. The bagel was a little crunchier than I would have liked but it was good nonetheless. I would go back. No complaints

I have been coming here almost every Saturday and Sunday morning for the past 3 years. Sam's has a special place in my heart and is part of my morning routine. The vibes are infectious and the bagels are impeccable. The coffee is also great. Kim is always on top of her game and whipping up the best bagel sandwiches. The customer service is top tier and you can customize your sandwiches pretty much any way imaginable. I have included only a handful of the hundred plus bagel photos that I have from here. They don't miss at Sam's!! PS: I forgot to mention they make all of their bagels fresh in house. Many times you will be blessed by seeing a fresh baked batch of bagels coming out of the commercial ovens in the back. (You would be foolish to not order at least a bakers dozen ;)

Nice local bagel shop! They only make a certain amount of each flavor a day so if you've got your eye on a specific bagel then be sure to go earlier in the morning. Gets really busy around 10-11am. Friendly employees and reasonable prices too! This is a great spot for weekend bagels. They have a lot of sauces and condiments on the side table (honey, chocolate sauce, milks).

I have been in search of a solid bagel in Baltimore for a while now! I don't love the other options here, but came across this place and wanted to check it out! Their bagels are really good! Sams has a lot of variety, and I love the jalepeno cheddar bagel especially! I'm interested in trying others like the sun dried tomato, etc in the future! The bagels are pretty affordable with an egg and cheese around $4 and a bagel with cream cheese around 2-3. Their cream cheese was good-- we tried the veggie but they have chive and artichoke which I am intrigued by! Highly recommend if you're looking for a good bagel in Baltimore! Parking isn't bad, especially earlier in the morning when I went, but brunch times on the weekends will likely be busier.

Very good variety of delicious bagel, and cream cheese combinations.

Sam's Bagels is a delicious little hole in the wall that definitely get your morning going. Very good variety for most diets. You can't go wrong here in my opinion.

Ive had solid experiences when I'm in need of a quick lunch. GLOWS: - A decent selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches -Chips, pastries, and cookies in shop - You can call an order ahead to pick up. -Of course, bagels, but I cannot confirm their quality, as I usually only get lunch. I'll be back to try other items based on their chicken sandwich alone.

Was a little surprised to have old bay bagels, is really salty and spicy, and the key to lox were so good, no lines, very nice and clean, and I love their coffee too

Located on Lombard St. Attman's has a rich history as mentioned on their website: "Established in…read more1915, Attman's has established its reputation as Baltimore's leading delicatessen along Corned Beef Row - a unique Baltimore landmark. Today, you will find the same delicious foods, outstanding personnel, and friendly service that has been maintained for over three generations. ATTMAN'S has the flavor and excitement like that of the East Side of New York City, where our famous corned beef comes out steaming hot from our kettles all day, seven days a week; and where the taste of real Jewish hot pastrami makes your mouth water for more." (https://attmansdeli.com/history/) This place became popular back in the day for Jewish food specialties especially around Passover and their kosher products. The current location was established in 1933 and still stands today. Sandiwches: I got the original 'Corned Beef' Sandwich. I got it "Extra Heavy +$" with more meat, regular cut meat (there is an option of regular cut vs lean cut for an upcharge), with Sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, with deli mustard, on toasted rye bread. DIY rueben-esque. The sandwich was amazing! Quality corned beef, so fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. This is their true, time and tested menu item! I also got the 'Lombard Street' sandwich, on toasted rye bread. It had pastrami, corned beef, chopped liver and Russian dressing. Good blend of different flavors and textures. I was expecting a savory liver pate sort of taste, but it's on the sweeter side. Which I found interesting, sorta not my jams but definitely someone else's. The 'Lombard Street Coddies' was a lil soft baked fish cake patty. It came wrapped in foil with a stone ground mustard packet and crackers, snack size. I expected some toasted crunch on the outside, but it didn't have that. Kinda smushy all over. Desserts: The 'Strawberry Shortcake' was more of a denser/ heavier cake with a cream cheese layer. The frosting was harder and super sweet. The 'Rainbow Cake' was super pretty with its colorful layers, just like the pictures. Denser sweet chocolate cake. Both cakes were good, but my preference is for softer airier cake. And icing that's lighter and less sweet. The 'Chocolate Top Cookie' (each) was a softer sugar-cookie-like base with a generous glob of chocolate frosting on top. This I'd probably not get again. The 'Black Bottom Cupcake' was super moist and yums, recommended. This I would get again. Sides: I got the 'Attman's House Salad' with Russian dressing. It was a decent sized salad, you could add different protein options on. Blend of tomatoes and lettuce. The 'Homemade Potato Salad' and the 'Homemade Coleslaw' were packaged in smaller sauce containers. Both were nice accompaniments for the sandwiches. I also got the 'Bubbie's Matzo Ball Soup'. The matzah/matzo ball was packaged in a separate tub from the soupy portion. There were good potions of vegetables and soup. It was my first time trying out a matzo ball, definitely interesting. The dough-flour bite went well with the hot chicken flavored soup. Overall, I got a bit of everything in my to-go DoorDash order to try thing out. It's very different from the types of food I usually get. This was a good experience. I really liked the corned beef sandwich here, highly recommend that. Try this place out if you have the time!

We were both expecting walnuts in our shrimp but there weren't any maybe that's a known thing but it surprised us. The bao buns were different from any I have had before. The location I went to was packed and there wasn't much space to sit. Definitely feels more like a to-go place. Despite it being packed service was excellent and fast.

I placed a catering/pickup order at 8:30 AM for my friend's birthday, with a scheduled pickup time of 12:30 PM. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was told that everything I had ordered was sold out. The frustrating part was that I was never notified ahead of time, so I had no opportunity to make another selection before arriving. Since my friend doesn't eat chicken, I had to find another seafood option on the spot. Once I found something that would work, I had to pay an additional $15 and then wait another 20 minutes for the new order. I normally go to the Locust Point location and have never really had issues there, so I don't want this experience to give the impression that I think Ekiben is bad overall. This was genuinely just one bad experience. The food itself is still AMAZING. I'm obsessed with the Tacklebox, the tempura broccoli is , and the chili noodles are an absolute SMASH. I'll definitely still be back because I genuinely love Ekiben -- I just hope there's better communication when an item from a scheduled order is no longer available.
