today my husband and I went to Sam's Club in Lady Lake, Fl. when we purchased our items and I waited at the pickup lane while my husband brought the car around. I was at the front of the pickup lane and out the door came a girl saying rudely ;you cant park there and started to -push my one cart away. keep in mind that I was in the customer pick up lane AND I paid for my groceries and therefore they were mine, not the stores. She finally stopped. My husband arrived AND out the door came this guy and he said to me yet again ;you can't park there and block the door, we have to come out for pickups. No one was there but my husband and I, no other vehicle, AND HE TOO took one of my carts and started walking away with it angrily. I told him to bring it back that the only car there was ours and my husband was loading our car. Please tell me why we had TWO DIFFERENT RUDE people grabbing our cart and started walking away with it? Also, why are we not allowed to-park our carts where the pick up lane is, when that is where you are supposed to put them when you load your vehicle? since when is the customer ALWAYS, the bad guy and the workers are allowed to treat customers badly. I spent almost $500.00 and this is the treatment, I guess they want me to go to BJ's or Costco so I will ablige. read more

I LOVE Sam's Club but the wax in their car wash is horrid. I have a 2024 Black car and I took it through the car wash. Left streaks of yellowish wax. I have tried ever household cleaner to get it off of my car, Vinegar, Clorox household cleaner, 409 cleaner, etc. I've tried to apply new wax over it to buff it out, nothing works. Very disappointed- I went to cook the salmon my girlfriend was so nice to buy for me and before I ever opened the vacuum packed seal I noticed over half a dozen bugs INSIDE the package. How infested must it be for this to happen and no one notice? Also, normally their fruit is good but has gone waaay downhill. Blackberries were fuzzy, blueberries were mushy and tasteless. Today at the self-checkout we noticed that none of the items on sale were credited to the receipt. We mentioned it to the helper and she checked that we were right. She sent us to the dreaded service desk. One older woman was there and she said if the sales price didn't come off at the register it wouldn't at hers either. We said please do something so she had to finally go through all our items by looking in a flyer she had in her pocket! She called the manager over who spoke rapid Spanish English and the manager did not offer to help at all. Worthless! What concerned us, is neither worker seemed to care that others in that line might not be getting their discounted prices either. They didn't even ask which register we were coming from. After more than 15 minutes, and hoping she got all the items right, we were finally checked out. It was a horrid way to solve the problem. We asked to have it all refunded and start over but they would not. I will never trust the registers again and advice others to watch for the specials. read more

I've been a member of sams club for 25 maybe longer, I have been shopping in the villages sams club since they built it. Well today I went to the meat dept about 5:30 pm looking for 6 racks of babyback ribs none in the meat case, a tall older meat employee came out after ringing the bell looking miserable, I asked if he had any babyback ribs in back. He tells me they close in an hour in a half, I told him I still need 6 babyback ribs. He had a miserable face on and didn't want to go see if they had 6 babyback ribs $60.00 worth of meat in back because they were closing in an hour in a half. He finally walked back to the cooler and immediately back out no way this miserable employee looked..I told the manager with some choice words of what I thought about this employee.. I purchased the ribs at BJ'S plus other items equalling $160. Sams meat dept needs to find employees like bjs who are awesome and go out of their way to help you. No one has ever treated me the way that clown at sams did. I spend alot of money at that sams especially the meat dept but now sams will be last choice this year until my membership expires..I will not renew!! read more

In another "holy shit I can't believe it" moment of horrific incompetence in a retail setting, I went to try and get a membership yesterday and was shocked by the experience. I was actually going to buy a 70 inch TV and blow some more money on some ear buds, booze and groceries. My average annual spend when I had a Costco membership before I moved here where there is inexplicably no Costco was about $4-5k. Sam's club apparently could care less. Standing there waiting in line as they somehow have decided to do both returns and new memberships at a booth that is not even fully staffed, some guy is standing there jawing with the person at the register after he decides to get a credit card after signing up for membership. Both are completely oblivious to the line getting longer and longer and longer. In the other lane, a return for some type of small item is taking just as long. Again, the customer and employee involved in that transaction are completely oblivious to the long line forming. Finally, some clueless moron idiot of a woman comes over and says to move the line over to the side so that we are not blocking people trying to exit the store... Nope, don't jump on a register to take care of your customers who have been standing there for nearly a half hour now, just tell them in a rude tone of voice to get out of the way of people leaving the store. So I left and will never go back. No wonder Amazon is killing off physical retail. read more

I called as a concern because my elderly parents were just there. They went to pay with there credit card/debit card and the cashier told her that she needed to put her pin in, and my mother told her that it was going to be credit. But the cashier kept telling her to put her pin in and my mother told her again to do it as credit. Then she went to tell her if she had another credit card and my mother had to use her regular credit card. I did not appreciate the cashier forcing my mother to put her pin in, that to me was harassment and I don't appreciate that. Cant wait for BJ's to open up and hopefully a Costco will also coming to the area. I called as a concern customer on behalf of my parents, and spoke to a manager name Kim. I had a pick up order that was supposed to be ready between 7:00-8:00 PM. I finally got a text message at 7:52 PM telling me it was ready and to text A when I arrived. I got to the store at 8:05 PM and texted A but received a message back saying "Sam's Club: Pickup order 9869210931 is ready. However the club is currently closed. Please check in during business hours. HELP = help; STOP = unenroll." . Nobody around!!! Love sams club and stores like this. Couldn't find certain items in grocery stores like cream cheese but they have same Philadelphia cream cheese there in a four pack. So easy just kept other packages until needed later they had expiration date far enough out so no problem. read more

This is a review of Sam's Club Optical dept....specifically Jim... an optician at the Lady Lake warehouse store. Jim was working to fill a custom prescription for an old eyeglass frame of mine. While he was not able to complete that for me, he went out of his way to come up with an alternative solution and even came in on his day off to rush it to me before I had to leave town. Fish Market Complaint-Lady Lake Florida On two recent visits to Sam's Club in Lady Lake, Florida, in June and July 2019, we noticed a very strong fish odor in the back of the store near the fish market. It smells like spoiled fish. I tried to bring it to the attention of store management. Went to customer service and asked for a member of management on the June visit. It stopped there, no effort to get a member of management. The response was the fish market is cleaned nightly, and in the words of the customer service representative "yes it stinks, but we clean it every night". The odor is repulsive. How is this permitted? Makes it difficult to shop in the area adjacent to the meat/fish market. This is not what one expects to endure in a shopping experience. Murry M. read more

Ordered tires, full set michelin; 5 day delay in advising the tires were received; tried to call for install appointment, several times, and the phone did not pick up or was put on too long hold. PS they do not tell the buyer that he has to get an appointment when they notify him the tires are now arrived. Finally drove to the sams, found 3 guys with no work in the bays, no one waiting in lot to get tires on, strange. Told to go to the tires desk inside and did. 15 min later, was told that the EARLIEST APPOINTMENT was about 3 weeks out. ????? what, no one in bays working today, and telling me 3 weeks before i can bring in my vehicle??? gave up and went to discount tire where I have purcahsed befdore; also got a 10% military discount and a $70 visa from michelin. They gave me a membership card with my name but somebody else's picture on it, the processing took forever, they were very nice but somewhere somehow technology has to catch up to them or they have to catch up to technology. Between Walmart and Aldis you can get the same products at the same or lower price and you don't have to buy in bulk. USDA choice meat is the same no matter where you buy it. There are only a few major suppliers left, Exel, IBP and National are a few, and they service almost all major retail outlets.
