excellent service. No wait and reasonably priced. Recommend them over big chain tire stores.

This shop is now called Jimmy's Auto Repair…read more It used to be Vaughn's Auto Shop (aka Quality Shop & Tire), and let me say this clearly, it was the ONE mechanic in the area you could actually trust. Fair prices, honest work, and a constant stream of cars coming in and out. People didn't just go there because it was convenient, they went there because they knew they wouldn't get taken advantage of. Senior citizens trusted Vaughn, including my mother, because they knew he would never rip them off or steer them wrong. Vaughn, to me, will always be one of the kindest, most decent men I've ever known. He took care of my mother and her cars for over 20 years. I remember calling from California to check on her, and every single time, she was getting solid advice, fair pricing, and real care when it came to her car. That kind of consistency is rare. I will never forget how well he and his team treated her. Fast forward to today. Vaughn passed away a few years ago, and his loss was deeply felt in this community. With him, it feels like the heart of that shop went too. The business is now run by Jimmy and his daughter. And the difference is noticeable. Where there used to be a steady flow of customers and cars waiting to be serviced, now the lot is often empty. My mother and I both had a very different experience there recently, and I'm going to be very direct about it. The treatment was rude, cold, and dismissive. It made the entire interaction very uncomfortable. My mother, who lives on a fixed income, tried to ask if there was any flexibility on pricing for a relatively small repair. The answer was no, and it felt final. No effort to work with her, no understanding of her situation. And that's where it really hits. Vaughn would have worked with her. He understood people. He understood that for someone on a fixed income, even a small unexpected expense can throw everything off for months. What used to feel like a place that cared now feels transactional and indifferent. For long-time customers who supported this business for decades, the shift is hard to stomach.

If you want a nice waiting room with coffee and doughnuts, this place is not for you. I would never have stopped there if I hadn't read many positive reviews. I almost drove by because it looked like a junk yard from the road. However, If you want quality work at a reasonable price, this is the place for you! Owner is polite, knowledgeable & honest. Employees have been with him for years.

It will be good when more stuff opens up south of 44 to relieve the strain on these places. The Mediterranean salad is very tasty. I was at the front of the pickup lane and out the door came a girl saying rudely ;you cant park there and started to -push my one cart away. keep in mind that I was in the customer pick up lane AND I paid for my groceries and therefore they were mine, not the stores. She finally stopped. My husband arrived AND out the door came this guy and he said to me yet again ;you can't park there and block the door, we have to come out for pickups. No one was there but my husband and I, no other vehicle, AND HE TOO took one of my carts and started walking away with it angrily. I told him to bring it back that the only car there was ours and my husband was loading our car. Please tell me why we had TWO DIFFERENT RUDE people grabbing our cart and started walking away with it? Also, why are we not allowed to-park our carts where the pick up lane is, when that is where you are supposed to put them when you load your vehicle? since when is the customer ALWAYS, the bad guy and the workers are allowed to treat customers badly. I spent almost $500.00 and this is the treatment, I guess they want me to go to BJ's or Costco so I will ablige.
