Used google while in Charleston,SC to see if any business rented scooters. Found Scooter Stop and have them a call... The staff are incredible, scooters are clean, ready with a full tank and pretty quick little things! My friend and I drove to folly beach, back to Charleston, every street within Charleston, the perimeter of Charleston and did all over again later after crossing the Ravenel bridge to shem creek (I don't recommend crossing the Ravenel) and then back to Charleston. Drove to dinner on them drove around for the night stopping at different spots and returned them the next morning. The fuel never moved from full and paid $60.00. This is a must do when in Charleston,SC!! read more

This was the best service I have received from a scooter shop in years. Even though the owner of the shop was out for a long time due to an illness and her prior mechanics Rob her blind she was able to get my bike in and out with the new mechanic she has hired today I couldn't be happier. Scooter stop is the place I will take my bike from here on out the rest of the scooter shops in Las Vegas are overpriced and lac service and people skill. I needed the rep to come out to my home to replace the battery which was dead and 100% paid for by my insurance company. When he arrived to replace the battery, the delivery came with a very condescending and demeaning lecture the entire time he was changing the battery! I am not a stupid woman. I don't need a sales rep to get into my business on why I haven't used my scooter to his expectations this month. Just come over, please change the batery, keep your negative opinions to yourself and go. I remembered this salesman as being pushy and short when I was shopping for a scooter to meet my needs. Well for me I should've took a hint when I called for a week and nobody answered for them to come get my scooter, then when they picked it up on Friday they told me it will be done on Wednesday possibly Friday then when Friday came they told me Sunday now it's Tuesday and now something else is wrong I asked them to upgrade it from a 50 to an 80 and they told me I already have an 80. I said thank you for being honest in the meanwhile he said I had a oil leak then the gasket broke then this is wrong and that is wrong and he text me and didn't call me and said he was coming in on Monday to take care of it Monday came no Joey, the owner does not pick up the phone has no consideration to call back so for me I'm picking up my scooter fixed or not and I'd like to see someone stop me from getting my bike not like Poor Nadia.I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau people should not work like this and treat people this way conducting business. My moped needed work I had Scooter Stop (Cynthia & Joey) come get my moped from my home, I was charged $20.00 for the pick up on May 23rd. I bought parts for my moped ( gasket kit, crank shaft and an 80cc bore kit) and took them down to scooter stop so they could fix my moped. Every time I went down to check on my moped I was always told there still working on it. Joey was working on it then later I find out he was no longer there. There was some new person named Randy and an elderly man who looked in is 80's who didn't look like he knew what he was doing. Now I go back to check on my bike and find out that those guys are gone and now some one named Jimmy is working on my bike.The lady Cynthia said she would call me to let me know when it was ready. I never heard back and every time I would call the shop it would go into voice mail which was always full so I could never leave a message. I was always going down to Scooter Stop on my days off to check the status of my moped. After a month and 16 days later I finally get my moped back, I was told it was fixed. When I got it, it was not working right there were different parts on my moped from other mopeds. Cynthia first quoted me 400.00 and I was like you had my moped for a month and 16 days and I bought parts for my moped, then she dropped it to 300.00. I pointed out that there were parts on my moped that were not mine and I'm still missing parts off my moped in the end I ended up paying 150.00. The people who had worked on my moped do not know what they are doing at all. DO NOT take your moped to Scooter Stop. You will get ripped off and parts missing from your ride and it will never be the same again. read more

HORRIBLE, WORST scooter store in Vegas!!! I'd give NO STARS if I could Rode scooter to this store with starting problem, blinkers didn't work, and front end was slightly not straight. Told him i just installed all performance parts but its been sitting for over a month and before that it was sitting for more than a couple. First old guy with a wandering eye explains mechanic isn't in shop, he'll look at it, and see what he can do. I asked him about how much to get blinkers and starting to work better, and he said its $45 for the checking and that it would go towards the fixing price. I told him I was pretty sure I needed battery and as he's taking apart the scooter tells me who ever worked on it didn't know what they were doing because the "fuel valve" was missing. I explained that I was told some scooters have them and some don't, that it depends on carb having a stopping pin or something like that. I asked him then to replace the "fuel valve" and hoses and battery and asked about how much was I looking at.. Tells me $150.. I was surprised but really wanted to sell the scooter ASAP so I agreed and left. Later I get a call from a lady that seemed like she was on drugs, both when I seen her when dropping off scooter and when i finally picked it up, passed the phone to person I dealt with when I dropped off scooter. He begins to tell me the carb i had was junk so he had to replace with new one. I said "WHAT!!??? It's brand new, high performance." He revs the gas in back ground and says doesn't it sound better. I said "no, I'm on my way down there." I get there and he tells me again he had to replace carb because the one i had was junk and I told him that it was weird because I payed good money for it. I was really confused about his reasoning, and asked him to explain... He tells me that he couldn't adjust my carb and I didn't understand because its an adjustable carb. Then he tells me he couldn't adjust the idle. Again, I was confused because even I know how to adjust the idle. I get my scooter mechanic friend on phone and pass the phone to the guy. I hear the guy say I put a new carb on the scooter, $75... Hands me back the phone and my friend says tell him to put that carb back on the bike and get the hell outta there. I hang up the phone, and the guy goes to try and show me how good the carb is and the scooter doesn't start. I said thats the whole reason I brought it in. Then he replies that its because of the "starter bearings". I asked him then why change the carb and not fix the bearings... He tells me if I want he'll put the "old junk one" back on but he wont put the new one back on. Told him thats fine because i didn't want a new carb. A guy cuts in and tells me to wait out front because they don't have insurance to cover me and he's charging me 2 hours labor and $35 for fuel valve, so my total was $92.50. I leave and pick up my wife to bring me back to pick up scooter. On the way I bring up website I order all my parts from and pull up the "fuel valve" and price says $3.95... which is also called a "petcock". The old guy brings out the scooter to showroom and so I asked, "now explain to me what you did." He says he put on the fuel valve and connecting hoses, so I say that cost almost $100? for a petcock??? I show him the picture on my phone with $3.95 in red under the picture. I then asked if he fixed the blinkers and he said "What!! you want me to do a wiring job for $150???" I said please pull out the receipt that you wrote out as a quote when I got here and his partner grabs the slip and as I look over to point out the problems were starting, blinkers, and front end alignment. NOTHING FIXED!!!! The old guy starts to twitch and tells me "take this scooter and get the F@%* out of here and don't come back!!" I gladly took my scooter and rolled it to the body shop next door, asked them for a jump and was promptly on my way home. Got home and checked carb and the guy leaves every screw loose (lucky didn't lose one on way), turns idle completely off, which is why I had to keep giving gas to keep running at stop signs on my way. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Rip off, scam artists... I can tell they are probably going to shut down soon. ( never no customers in window when I pass ) They probably didn't have a customer before me for a while, so they were trying to get as much $$ out of me as possible. I look young so they thought I was some kid that didn't know anything... Excuse me sir, I'm 34 years old! SCOOTER STOP is 100x worse than any other scooter store in vegas!!! I had my back tire tube replaced here and less than a WEEK later its flat again. I walked it there again. Asking if I could get fixed for free because of the 30 warranty, he tells me when he first worked on it, that the tire was balding so I must have ran over a nail. Neglected to tell me that I should of replaced it while I was already there getting it replaced the first time. His excuse was he wanted me to pay as LITTLE as possible that trip. Ended up costing me close to 200 in total. Not to mention I had to wait 2 days for each trip to get my moped back. read more

You guys fucked me. You kept my scooter for more than a week because you have no idea what you're doing. You kept figuring there was something wrong with the carburetors you put on the scooter, when the reality is that you have no idea how to tune one. You fucked up my muffler even more than you had the last time I brought it to you, you overfilled my oil. You didn't even tighten the mirror you replaced. You charged me $250 to fuck up my scooter. I took the thing to blackjack to fix the problems YOU CREATED OVER THE COURSE OF 9 DAYS, and they fixed it overnight. You have no excuse. You're ridiculous. It is criminal that you're running a repair shop, when you don't KNOW HOW TO DO ANYTHING RIGHT--NOT EVEN A FUCKING OIL CHANGE. read more

avoid scooter stop! i had an issue with my scooter, called scooter stop to pick it up which was ($40). when the gentleman arrived i showed him exactly where the sound on the scooter was coming from. he took it to the shop, they gave it a minor tune up ($75) and said they couldn't find anything else wrong with it.they dropped the scooter off ($20) it was not fixed at all!!! still making the same obvious sounds!! they asked if i wanted to take it back in to the shop and told me it would be 3 hours labor ($65hr) +parts +install and i had already spent $150... finally they said they couldn't fix it... wouldn't refund any money and i was still stuck with a broken scooter!!! find out where i had it fixed for $65 w/ great service @ the customer scooter review www.sincityscooters.com read more
