Looooove this place! The donuts are so fluffy, they taste clean! Like they don't taste like old oil or anything. The establishment itself is super clean inside. The hospitality is also top notch! So friendly and welcoming, I feel really happy when I go here. The drinks are delicious as well! I haven't had the chance to get a sandwich but I'm sure they're delicious too. This time I went I got a taro blended drink and I love it! Tastes like fruity pebbles lol my husband got a regular iced Thai tea. He said it hit the spot lol thank you for your service! I am for sure going to be a regular here. This place was here before but was closed during the whole pandemic! It is now under new management and im glad because it's so close to my house!

The best Donut Shop in Bellflower/Long Beach. Sonny is so nice and he cares about his customers. This place is so clean and everything is fresh and the ice coffee is the bomb.

The journey continues for the ultimate Bear Claw... Good taste, not to sweet, but barely enough filling. Would buy it again if in the neighborhood. Like many Donut shops this is a Mom & Pop Place. Like service stations almost one on every or near an intersection.

I got a plain croissant and the bread is nice and thick on the outside and super soft in the inside. Super yum!

I was on my way to Habitat for Humanity and stopped by this place for a quick breakfast. Super sweet lady and yummy bites. Definitely satisfied with my quick turn, last minute choice lol

Donuts and coffee. Pastries and a cappuccino. Sandwich and a smoothie or boba drink? Ham and cheese croissant? Sure, Sam's has that! They also open nice and early so I can pop in and grab my order before jumping on the freeway to head off to work. Long Beach, Artesia and Lakewood have a TON of mom & pop donut shops and Sam's is my current fave. Located on the corner of Artesia & Clark, directly across from the Chevron in a tiny strip plaza next to the laundry mat. The shop is nice and open, and always clean. Within moments of the bell tinkling, you're greeted with a warm hello from the elderly lady who owns it with her husband. I don't typically do doughnuts in the morning because the overkill of sugary goodness is sometimes way to much for me and I'm bouncing off the walls haha. Anyhow, the shop is bright, light, and happy. Their displays were clean and no buggies of any sort inside. I've been to two different Granny's around the area and both had bats in the display. Gross! The selection of doughnuts, pastries, sandwiches and croissants is plentiful, for being such a small shop. I'm a big fan of their ham and cheese croissant but also on a bagel! So yummy when it's cold in the morning because the bagel or croissant is toasted/warmed so the cheese is all melty and ooey-gooey! Mm!! I've had just about 80% of their doughnut options and I'll be starting on their sandwiches and the rest of their croissants soon. I appreciate that they have a half dozen deal ($4.25/6) because sometimes, I don't want a full dozen but I also don't want just one or two. So on my semi-porky days, I grab a half dozen to go and get my sugar fix and my breakfast of champions in one stop haha. I love their maple bars, some of the better ones I've tasted. Doughnut holes are legit and not dry, all of their doughnuts are soft and moist. Never dry or stale, which you find at other doughnut shops after so many hours, yucky. Sandwiches I'm all about the #12. BLT, so yummy. They put onions on theirs, so I ask for without or take them off later, no biggie. But the bacon is soo nice and crispy and the tomatoes are ripe and definitely fresh. For a corner doughnut shop, they have pretty yummy ingredients on hand (^_^) Honestly, I come here cuz they have fresh, warm doughnuts, yummy croissants and I love the warm reception from the owners. For as long as I keep taking this particular route to work, I will continue to stop by Sam's on the mornings I'm not running behind haha, cuz their doughnuts and sammies are yumm-o!! If you're in the area, check out this cute little shop. And try one of their delicious options! Your tummy won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for an Indy sandwich shop with craft beer and what may be considered craft sandwiches (or at least just really tasty and well made!), Dilly's is your spot. I ordered takeout today and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I came in around 3:15 and ordered two sandwiches to go - the hot roast beef and the BLTA. When I got in my car, I decided to take a bite of my BLT (with avocado) before heading home. It was not good, at all! Instead of a few (or more, because it WAS $16!) slices of delicious bacon, it was a thick sandwich filled with what appeared to be bacon pieces, like the preparer had just scraped together old bacon from earlier in the day. It tasted greasy and burnt. After several sips of water my tongue was still greasy! The avocado was almost nonexistent. I immediately went back in and asked for a refund. I brought my husband his roast beef ($18!). He is not a picky eater, AT ALL! He said it wasn't very good and he should bring them an Arby's to show what a roast beef sandwich should look like. He was really disappointed. Sorry, if you love this place, please ignore my review but I highly recommend that you do NOT order these sandwiches unless the owner makes an announcement that they've taken steps to improve. Too many great places to get a good sandwich.

During my last visit, I had the Elvis Kieth, which consisted of chicken, teriyaki, wasabi mayo, and swiss cheese. I bought the sandwich and didn't even eat it until the next day, but even then, I was honestly blown away by how delicious it was. Highly recommend ordering this but I honestly feel like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This location is in the hangar in Long Beach, which is a cool location. Dependent on when you go, the hangar can get crowded so finding a seat can be difficult sometimes. Service here was exceptionally friendly and we were even offered lollipops with our order.

The bread had no flavor, the chicken had no flavor, all that you could taste was wasabi. Our second sandwich was the Rawson Thurber and again it was very bland. The bread had no flavor the turkey had a little bit of flavor, all you could really taste was the cranberry sauce. This is high concept fast food, with lots of different ingredients, yet the final product is sorely lacking. In contrast, Jersey Mike's is low concept fast food, just basic subs. However, all the ingredients that go into their sandwiches are loaded with flavor......the bread, the meat, the sauces. On a positive note, they give you big portions, the staff is friendly and efficient. Won't be going back.

The pineapple added to what's basically a Cuban style sandwich sounds different at first, but it works perfectly. The balance of sweet, savory, crispy, and smoky was spot on. Everything tasted super fresh and the bread held everything together perfectly without getting soggy. My original plan was to eat half and save the rest for later... yeah, that didn't happen. Ended up finishing the whole thing because it was that good. Service was friendly, food came out quick, and the whole spot had a really chill local vibe. It's my absolute favorite breakfast burrito in the area. I get it with eggs over medium- comes with chorizo, potatoes, cheese and bacon. Great portion, amazing texture and the flavor is on point from start to finish. You can actually taste each component instead of everything turning into one salty breakfast blob. Every bite has something going on in the best way. Seasoned perfectly. Chef's kiss. The homemade salsa is fire too. Spicy, flavorful and exactly what the burrito needs. It cuts through the richness, wakes everything up and makes the whole thing even better. Dangerous stuff honestly, because now the burrito feels incomplete without it. I believe they got a mild and hot. Fries were bomb too. I ask for extra seasoning and they come through. The ketchup was also weirdly good, chilled and delicious. Could be Heinz, could be homemade, could be magic. Either way, I want more of it. The vibe's chill and down to earth. The people here are genuinely great imo. Friendly, easygoing and consistent every time I've stopped by. You place your order, they give you a ticket and you pay when it's ready. They also have a fun drink selection, including Calypso drinks and Stewart's root beer in cans and glass bottles. I respect a deli that gives the drink fridge some effort. There's seating when you walk in and more seating in the back area of the deli. Parking can be hit or miss and the spot is easy to pass by, but that breakfast burrito is worth circling the plaza for. I've done it. I'll do it again. Easy recommendation, the consistency of their food and service is on another level. I'm excited for my next haircut.
