The line was out the door a few times. Seems as the women working may be mother daughter or sisters. Super friendly and always moving about with cooking and taking orders. Replenishing and replacing. And always always confirms your order so there's no mistakes. They have plenty of fruit in their fridge displayed. Ambiance: small but just enough space to sit and eat. I had been craving donuts for a few days at this point. I showed up around 6am and the place was pretty empty but very clean. The owners were very friendly, greeting me with an amazing attitude and energy. One thing I tend to appreciate when visiting food spots is customer service that is offered, so this was something that impressed me. They have a large selection of donuts to choose from- I got a chocolate bar, sprinkle donut and a few donut holes. The cost was about $6 which is the average price in this area. The donuts were fresh and quite soft/fluffy. The one thing I enjoyed was that they weren't too sweet. One of the great benefits of this donut shop is that there's tons of parking spaces. It's located in a plaza where there is a Starbucks and LA Fitness. This makes the trip very convenient and easy. I was born and raised in North Long Beach so I was aware of this donut shop but hadn't gone until I saw the Tiktok. Please note their surprise bags are day old or end of day items. Upon entry, the clerk asked if I needed help & I said I'm here for my TGTG pick-up. She asked to see my phone & took it from me to swipe for my redemption. Aaaugh! My phone is now sticky & needs to be clean. ＼(｀0´)／ This is especially weird to me since their order/pick-up counter has a plexiglass barrier, probably from the pandemic lockdown. It's a decent size shop with some seating on the left, & an ATM on the right if you choose to pay by cash, not sure if they charge less for cash payments. Donut menu is pretty standard: cake, raised, bar, twist, French cruller, buttermilk, old fashioned, cinnamon roll, bear claw, apple fritter; I did see their version of the cronut. Price points are just under $2/ea. with a dozen at $18.75 & up, & 1/2 dozen at $10.50. I think this is reasonable? It's been awhile since I purchased donuts. There's also muffins, croissants, & other baked goods that's norm for a donut shop. Service is alright except for handling my phone when I can clearly show & swipe for my surprise bag redemption.
