Greek food in Kentucky!!! Amazing! Fresh made to order gyro's or platters! So good. And save room for dessert! Best baklava!

This is a very small place with almost no seating, but don't let that deter you! I practically licked my plate clean. I had the Gyro Fries, which sounds weird but they were amazing. My daughter had the kids chicken nuggets (I know, lame) but they were very good, including the seasoned fries. Capri sun was provided. My son enjoyed the falafel sandwich. It's more of a burrito, as it's in a tortilla, and then browned after it's rolled. Either way, it was delish. I should have read the reviews sooner. Now, I'll have to come back to try the magical rice everyone talks about.

    Dessert is served!

Oh how I love you Sam's Greek Cafe - where do I start!? It's a end store in one of the border line ragged strip malls right outside one of the gates - right in the door (literally) the place is modest, but definitely looks and smells clean (hate that nasty stanky haven't-cleaned-well fast food place smell). This is not a place to get lit with a large group - this is a good place to get a quick lunch as a table of four. (limited in-house seating) The other reviews about the rice aren't lying. It is delicious - I am sure those reading this who are military, watch out if you have a PT test coming up! I am sure the menu here, you will crave, and will kill your waistline! I got a lamb AND chicken plate because I just couldn't decide. The pita bread was good too - but I don't think it's made in house. The owner allowed me to buy one falafel, just because I wanted to taste it. The cherry on the cake from my visit was that the main guy was super willing to help me out and my co-worker our and cut a slice of baklava in half with a ACTUAL knife. (Cutting delicious sticky baklava with the clumsiness of a plastic knife blows and it's usually not wildly successful) Thanks Sam's Greek Cafe - if I was local I would probably hit on the owner and his brother, but instead I will give them praise here - wish them luck and hope you consider them for a decent meal at a decent price.

Good food, reasonable prices. The chicken breast plate is really good. The baklava is really sweet, but we enjoyed it.

Absolutely delicious! There's a lot of gyros places around, but this is by far our favorite. Delicious gyros, falafel, hummus, and baklava.

This burger joint is in a spot on the corner of Fort Campbell Blvd in Oak Grove, KY and Polk Road (which leads to a gate onto the Fort Campbell Army post). It smells amazing inside. The fries are so crispy and have an awesome bite of flavor. I do not know what makes it so delicious, but they are better than any fast food chain's fries. I'm so excited to try this burger! Stopping here for supper, first there were the dark bathrooms that wouldn't light. Along with that electrical issue, an ear-splitting and head jarring smoke or other alarm went off every few minutes for about 15 minutes. Order taking was interrupted often when the counter employee shifted to incoming phone calls. That employee didn't know pulled chicken portion sizes in ounces and approximated with his hands. All of this created a dubious dining experience before we even finished ordering! This spot offers a variety of chicken recipes: roasted, BBQ, Caribbean, pulled, fried, and more. Sides includes Southern standards like mac and cheese, yellow rice, greens, coleslaw, and others. The pulled (shredded) chicken was overly seasoned with black pepper. Roasted chicken was a bit dry. The BBQ chicken laden with sweet sauce was the best of the chicken choices. Creamy coleslaw was 'meh' and lacked flavor. Rice, too, was just okay. Northern beans were nicely seasoned and well cooked. Pita triangles seemed an odd accompaniment since no sauce or dip was provided and they were too small to make sandwiches. Overall, the restaurant seemed understaffed, which could account for the messy tables and dirty floor.

The place has a casual, welcoming vibe -- clean, well‐lit, with a layout that works for both dine‐in and takeout. What I liked: 1. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful without being overly greasy. We got the Golden Original and Soy Garlic. The Golden Original has a kick to it but nice flavor. The Soy Garlic was a bit garlicky you can taste the powdered garlic. Nice balance of sweet, savory and salty. 2. The sides were fresh and well‐seasoned -- the pickled radish had a nice balance of tang and sweetness. 3. Staff were friendly and he was on his phone most of the time wasn't attentive at all. What could improve- the staff at the counter. There was a guy waiting on his food his food came out and was ready but the staff just stood there on his phone and didn't check. Good thing the guy was cool and didn't complain. Final thoughts If you're in the area and craving good fried chicken with a laid‐back feel, this is a solid pick. It may not be perfect, but it delivers. I'd go back -- and next time I'll try one of the spicier options.
