This is the very first Greek place I had a chance to try. I came here a few months ago, but didn't know this place was on Yelp. Anyways, I think this restaurant is amazing. The people were very nice and friendly to me, and the food was wonderful. There was good communication about the orders. I generally avoid the mall like the plague, and it was the recent Covid plague that kept me out of the cinemas for over two years. But I had an urge to see something on the big screen, so off to the mall I went. After the movie (btw, when did Tom Cruise get so OLD???) it was moving on dinner time, so I decided Greek was the way to go. Y'know, for a food court eatery, Sam's is really pretty good. I got a couple of gyros (lamb) to go. It smelled so good I had to take a bite while I was still in the mall parking lot. The lamb was well-prepared, the veggies were fresh, and the bread was grilled nicely but still soft. The guys working were really nice and friendly, as well. While sitting in traffic on the way home, I took another bite. I was pretty sure I was gonna have to pull over and just chow down, but I made it home with a gyro and a half. As I said earlier in my review, I hardly ever go to the mall. Now I have a good reason to make it a destination. Sam's Greek Cafe in the mall. It's gonna be my new thing. Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to smuggle a gyro into the movie theater, and because of Sam's, I'll be seeing more movies. read more

decent enough food. sauce was good. the chicken skewers? rather chicken marinated in a EXTREMELY salty sauce then put on flat top and dude literally squished them to death making them dry as the desert. the rice appears to be rice-a-roni . wish I could say more good things, but I cant. read more

I have eaten at this place forever- their gyros are pretty good. They are large enough to split with someone. Normally, I get the sauce on the side and put it on myself. I agree with the previous reviewer about the fries. Yum! The workers are fairly friendly and the food is pretty quick too. The inside is pretty cramped though. If I was you, I would get this to-go and eat it either in the new food court or at chick-fil-a. It will get soggy if you don't eat it fairly quickly. read more

This place is NOT 4-5 stars. It's not bad, but too pricey for the portion size and average for a gyro place. I disagree with fellow reviewers who like the price/ portion size. $8 for a gyro, rice & drink combo (and comes with the smallest sized gyro in the Clarksville-Nashville area). One plus is their ranch. It is pretty good, if you don't like the cucumber sauce and it tastes like it is made in house. Ingredients were fresh. Baklava was good. read more

We stopped here on our way home to Alabama. We didn't want fast food but wanted something quick. This fit the bill and exceeded expectations. We got two gyro lunch specials (came with fries and a drink) the meals were $7.80. A few of the complaints I read said this was overpriced. We don't live here but it is not overpriced for where we come from and the amount of food we got was enough for 2 meals. My girls shared one gyro. They loved the meat and got to pick what they put on it. It wasn't a traditional gyro when they were done but, hey they ate it (well half of it) and some of the fries. Mine was traditional. The meat had a nice flavor and was sliced nice and thin (right off the spinning meat stick!). The tzaziki sauce was spot on. I really enjoyed it but, ate only a little over half and non of the french fries. When we ordered the guy dropped our fries in the frier. They were perfectly fried and tossed in that yummy salt mixture that greek restaurants always use. This store is located in the mall. We stopped on a Monday afternoon in the summer and it wasn't crowded. Nor was their much noise. The eating area was clean and so were the bathrooms. Our experience was great. Not 5 stars because I wasn't blown away but, so worth the stop. read more

For a mall Greek Restaurant this place is a 1 star meal. For good Greek food, well this isn't an option. The greasy layer of gross on the pita was more than I could handle. I didn't like the sauce at all, but the rice was okay. On a positive note, the side salad was good. The staff was friendly and helpful when ordering. I love this place, it seems a little pricey until you see the size of the gyro. The food is amazing, maybe I just really like gyros though.

The people that work here are very friendly. The service is fast and the food is very good. I have lived all through out the south and Sam's is by for the best GYRO place I have tried. Most "fast" Greek restaurants charge extra for feta cheese and overcharge for fries. Sam's is priced right and makes the best gyros I've ever had. read more
