DONT EAT HERE!!! RACISTS!! DELIBERATELY SNUCK JALAPEÑOS IN MY FOOD. I've been eating here for around 10 years and the last two times I've attended they have been openly racist to me for being white. They forced me to pay with cash because a "white boy like me always has cash". These past two visits they have also snuck jalapeños under the gyro meat (if you know all the toppings are on top of the meat) but for some reason the jalapeños have been under the meat. Ambiance there really isnt much of that here. Service was okay. Could have been better for sure. We got the chicago gyro with fries and drink. The drink machine is limited and I think its on its last legs, made lots of noise. Something is wrong with there lemonade. Not sure exactly what it is. Big amount of fries given, even though seasoned they were very bland. With proper seasoning they would have been fine. The gyro itself is very good. Would have been better if there was more care in placing all the condiments and sauce on it. If I were to come back id get the gyro with everything on the side since I cant count on them to do it the way it should be done. read more

The best gyros I've had in a long time! Staff is friendly and efficient, food is cooked fresh in front of you and the place is super clean. This place is in a strip mall, I know I know you don't expect amazing from a strip mall but man, this is sooo good! It reminds of me of the gyros I would get in the Greek neighborhood in NYC. It's absolutely delicious and the portions are HUGE. I couldn't even finish my sandwich. The baklava is out of this world and so yummy. It's probably the best baklava I've had since my granny's neighbor made me hers. Give it a try you won't be disappointed! The food is hot, fresh and delicious! The service is friendly and quick and it's completely affordable. It's a new neighborhood favorite place. The Tzatziki sauce didn't taste fresh - more like mayo with mystery chunks and there was no cucumber in the tomatoes & cucumber. No flavor, bland. The pita was just okay (at least they grilled it). Being from Detroit, my husband and I have been searching for a place that serves genuine Greek/Mediterranean food here in Tennessee, and this is the only place we will come for this type of food now. Walking in and seeing the lamb spinning in the open flame, I immediately knew we'd be getting a good meal. My partner and I were in the area around lunchtime and we were looking around for a place to eat. We saw Chicago Gyro and Moore and thought, "Yeah, gyros!" The place itself is in a strip mall, very unassuming, but it was clean and we were greeted by the guys behind the counter. We ordered drinks (canned soda) and some hummus. The plate of hummus was HUGE! It was also very good, and the pita was hot and delicious. It was a good start to our lunch. He ordered a standard gyro and got to pick his preferred toppings. I got the gyro plate, same deal with picking out the toppings. What? A custom-made gyro?! Yeah, and the meat was flavorful and there was plenty of it. The veggie toppings were all fresh and crisp. The tzatziki sauce was great! The only thing that took away from the experience was the general run-down appearance of the place, and the hard chairs to sit in. Always greeting customers when they come through the door and sending them off with a nice farewell. Found this little gem by accident. I wasn't expecting much but they definitely live up to the name. I had a gyro combo which totals $9.05. They put plenty of meat and anything else you'd like on it. Of course I got it Chicago style, just onions tomatoes and tzatziki sauce. It tastes great, and they do their fries kind of well done just like I like it. This little joint looks exactly like the hundreds of other ones that are actually in Chicago. From the seating to the decorations on the wall it makes me feel I'm back in the city. Friendly people behind the counter and the place looks very clean. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a good gyro sandwich to stop in here. On my next trip I'm going to try the hotdogs hummus and falafel! Only thing I didn't like was that I got too full to finish the sandwich. read more

It's a crispy waffle deep fried to a crisp brown, topped with ice cream and then covered with chocolate and caramel syrup with sugar powder sprinkled all over. Only $1.79!!! Make sure you save room for some. The owner is a very nice fellow who used to co-own the gyro place at the mall and recently split and opened his own place... and wow is this place so much better! The gyros are piled high and delicious... the pita bread is always lightly grilled and delicious; the bountiful toppings are always fresh. I got 4 gyros to go, and a Philly steak sandwich. The gyros were all stuffed silly with meat. Definitely no skimping going on here. The Philly was on a pita which caught me off guard, but it works surprisingly well. The melted provolone (mozzarella?) cheese inside was perfect, with just a bit of chew. They also include peppers and onions inside. I think there were mushrooms inside too (if you want it). The service was excellent. I asked for the gyro sauce on the side, because I was taking it to go and didn't want the gyro to get mushy. Not only did they put it on the side, they offered to put the toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, feta) in a separate box to add later. Perfect!!! We also got some falafel to go. They are only 55 cents each. The prices overall are very reasonable. I almost went to the mall instead to get gyros, but I thought I'd go support a different local business. This is my favorite Greek food spot anywhere from Nashville to Clarksville. I had a gyro platter and my wife had a gyro sandwich combo this past weekend. We didn't wait long, even though the place was packed for lunch, and the food was amazing. The meat was moist, the veggies were fresh, the pita was fluffy, and the tzatziki was thick and rich. Great big portions! The fry dipping sauce is so addictive. Fries were cooked perfectly, crispy outside but soft inside. I had the falafel. It was really good, cooked extra done like I like it. Loved that they heat the pita on the griddle. My husband had the gyro plate. He said the rice was really good. I tried some of his gyro meat as well. That's our only reason for a 1 star deduction, but I would really only take half a star. The gyro meat was too lightly seasoned first. It also could have benefited from a little bit more time on the griddle to get the crispy edges. If we lived in the area, we would come back here frequently, though. They have gyro's​, salads, plate combos and even Chicago-style hotdogs. They give you a big portion of food and the staff is very friendly!!
