The place was clean and nice. And the foods flavor was good. Now, the bad. While the flavor of the food was good, the food itself wasn't. Everything was extremely dry. We got the hush puppies to start and the sampler to try a little of everything. It was like a desert it was so dry. The hush puppies, chicken, ribs, brisket (which was more like pulled pork because they shred it for some reason) corn bread, and somehow both the coleslaw and baked beans, too. The only way this happens is if they make things earlier in the day and then everything just sits. Meaning it's not freshly made. As I mentioned, it was not very busy, so I'm assuming they make their food in advance and let it sit in pans over heat all day. Which is not what you do with BBQ. It's quite disappointing because the flavor is there. The spices they use were a southern flavor, which is good; but it's so dry, you'll be reenacting the scene from Christmas Vacation just to eat your food. They should consider either limiting their hours they are open to help not have food sitting around to dry out or reconsidering how the make their food. Dry BBQ is the worst, hopefully they'll make the appropriate changes.

They offer delivery for a fee and sometimes you may need to wait an hour but it always arrives hot. Tips are encouraged for the drivers. They also give quietly to the community and the schools. Located in the heart of town if you are in the mood for pizza, this is the place.

The panicked look on his face when he saw me, showed that he knew, he sold me the baked goods when I walked in 30 minutes earlier....I had been patiently waiting for close to an hour for 2 breakfast sandwiches...just 2 sandwiches! He quickly started scrambling and said, it will be just a couple of minutes. At the same time he was yelling out if anyone knew how to shut off online ordering. I did finally get our sandwiches. 5 Stars for quality of products and they were nice at the register. They lost stars...because they weren't organized and weren't communicating with each other. They simply were hanging online tickets, seemingly deprioritizing them and focusing on filling in person orders. I was aggravated and disappointed as this is not service I have ever experienced with the Sunrise chain. Oakland is always amazing as is Waterville (arguably one of the busier restaurants). If you choose to come here, I would recommend ordering in person.

I frequent Mikes all over the country and find the food a lot better than McDonalds and while each franchise is owned by different people, the quality was the same as it was it other parts of the country. It's amazing how the ratings for this franchise are much lower than they are in the rest of the nation when the local food is probably the worst in the nation. Try getting a slice of pizza North of Hartford and it's a card bord box. Yes, Mass is not known for it's good food either. I believe it comes from Maine and Mass being very similar.........Irish, English and neither county is known for their food..........just saying........perhaps the people and not the food are the problem. Very strange people staring at me like a PA plate was from a different planet. Again, Maine is the problem as I see it here and I don't really like Mass either but will tolerate you folks:)

The staff were polite and respectful and the food came out in record time! We ordered the Broccoli Cheddar soup, Chicken Avo Melt, and the Chicken Avocado BLT. The food was hot, fresh and flavorful! There was also a straight up (different) company hiring event in the dining room that i accidentially sat in because they were taking up the area by the window without any signs or anything. I didnt move but it was a little awkward. The price for the quality just doesn't add up anymore.
