Fried burrata salad
Sarah B.

This is a really cute little spot, with delicious food. We had the fried burrata salad, the lobster ravioli, and the tiramisu. Everything was great. Our waitress, Colleen, was lovely. All around great dinner.

Fresh bread and seasoned olive oil.

The food was excellent, the service was both friendly and timely. We enjoyed the low key atmosphere and family friendly hospitality.

Went to Sam's Kitchen last night for the first time. Ambience was lovely, service was spot on and food was delicious. Took advantage of their three course menu special for $35.00. Lots of options to choose from and a beverage is included, even wine! I got the potato leek soup, chicken piccata, and tiramisu. You just can not go wrong. A lovely dinner and evening was enjoyed immensely.

So pleasantly surprised by Sam's kitchen restaurant in Woburn. They offer both a six and 9 ounce pour for your wine. I don't see that very often, and it's nice to not have to order a second glass when all you want is just a larger glass of wine lol. Hubby had a Peroni beer, and we both had chicken and veal Parm respectively. It was really good and I really liked the pasta as well. The staff was very attentive, but not overly so. I hate when they get you in the middle of the meal with your mouthful and ask questions lol. And she didn't do that and I like that. We will definitely definitely be back. The only downside? if you are people of size like we are, two tables can be a little tight. We asked for a table that normally seats so we could eat comfortably, the woman who sat seemed a little annoyed at the request, but was luckily able to accommodate. Again, the only downside that I found. We will go back!

Sam's Kitchen just outside of Boston is worth a visit. It reminded me of some great Italian you find on the Northside of Town. My short rib gnocchi was loaded with meat and had a hearty sauce while the gnocchi was quite tender. In short the dish was excellent. Staff were friendly and kept my table well serviced. Sam's says they are a family restaurant which makes the visit even better.

This Italian restaurant has become my favorite 2024 Professional but passionate service. When the servers describe the "special" you can sense their glee and pride in the creations of coming out of the kitchen I had fra Diablo mussels over squid ink pasta. marvelous!! For desert I had pistachio tiramisu- A SPECIAL desert - great flavor and not overly sweet Limited by reasonable wine selection City parking lot about 1/2 block away or street parking

Veal Chop

Lucked into this place restaurant and very happy we did. I was looking for a place where I could meet my son for dinner and Woburn was halfway for both of us. We parked and spotted Sam's soon after, looked inviting and comfortable so we went in. We were greeted at the door and were immediately seated with drinks and menus. The inside is nicely lit, and warm. Our waiter was attentive and took the time to walk us through the menu and the specials. The food was even better, we started with the mussels in the white wine sauce which I highly recommend! My son had a chicken saltimbocca which he loved and I ordered the special, a bone in veal chop and mushroom sauce with broccoli rabe and risotto which was superb. The experience was fantastic, and the bill was really reasonable. Really a great place and a memorable evening. If you want a walk after dinner, around the corner is the Woburn public library, also worth a visit!

Lobster Ravioli

It's a small cozy place. Reservations recommended due to limited seating. Service was great but food was OK. I had the lobster ravioli and the raviolis were just too thick and didn't have much for filling. For us it was just OK unfortunately.

Excellent food and service. The staff was very friendly and pasta was great! We had a special deal with wine, dinner, and dessert. Excellent!!

We had a good sized crowd so they basically gave us the run of one of the bar areas (we were in the wine bar). Table seating, couch seating and room to stand around. We ordered a big selection of various appetizers and everyone was very happy with the food. They had it all laid out and labeled nicely. Drinks were good, but you do have to travel bar to bar - wine at the wine bar, cocktails at the speakeasy, etc so grabbing a few drinks for others is a little more of a process - but I think this is better for a small group because you get that ambiance of whatever you're looking for. We're all pretty local and a fair amount of us had never been in before - but everyone was making plans to come back to hang out again. Pricing was very reasonable for a large group, will absolutely host another event here in the future.

That's exactly what Matador delivers, especially if you are the carnivorous type. I really enjoyed sitting at the bar top affording me a clear view of the exhibition kitchen and the open wood fire pit. The radiant heat was especially terrific on a cold winters night. I opted for the hangar steak which was perfectly cooked medium rare. A dollop of compound butter seamlessly coated the meat and formed a wonderful complement to the meat. I rarely give five stars but this place deserves it. The atmosphere was as it should be, a restaurant, not a New Year's Eve sports bar. My wife had a filet mignon and fries, I had a rib eye (I never have any other steak) and Brussels sprouts. Everything was absolutely delicious, an absolute riot of flavor. If I could change two things, I wish they had a bone-in ribeye and I would pass on the red wine salt. A little TOO salty. I topped it off with cappuccino. We skipped dessert as they would have had to roll us out of there. Price pre-tip- $245. Worth every penny. This a great steakhouse and loke I said, I almost never give five stars. Great job, folks.
