All I can say is WOW!! When we walked in we were greeted by the hostess, we wanted to sit outside they told us the only tables that were available were in the sun or sitting at the bar so we went to the bar, we saw some people get up from a table that was not in the sun so we went outside and sat at it after it had been cleaned. After a few minutes of sitting outside the hostess (Bernn) tried to seat someone at the table that we were sitting at the people said no will sit over in the sun, the hostess told us we needed to move ...Really??? Ok fine so my husband was going to go to the hostess sand to let them know (Brenn) brought another party of people over to the table, and told us we had to leave now mind you there were other tables available around us that were not in the sun that were available! At this point we were feeling a little on the harassed side because we did not let the hostess know we were sitting there even though she was a hostess and knew that we were sitting there! This was our first time there so I guess if you don't know all of their "rules" you are told to get up! We had a group of people that we're going to meet us there we are going to eat and drink and have a good time but apparently they have no problem with losing a sales!! WOW!! Ordered the "Cajun" redfish at a $3 premium over the regular grilled redfish ($17.95 total), as it added a butter sauce with shrimp and crab (sides were seasonal vegetables and cole slaw). Please see the photo showing what actually came to the table (child's index finger is used to show scale). Glad I brought my glasses so that I could find the 1 1/2 baby shrimp and flake of what I assume was crab (same taste and texture of the fish below). Grateful for the sauce, as it hydrated the dry, flavorless hunk of flesh from that poor fish that clearly died in vain. I attempted to dress it up with a little black pepper, but their shakers are clearly designed to NOT dispense pepper (perhaps a genius labor and supply saving tactic). I realize that this isn't a "fine dining" establishment and that they met the technical terms of what they represented on the menu, but why not take a little pride in your work? It's just really good. The food is amazing the staff is so nice and everything is really quick. And if you are looking for some weird stuff to eat they shark and octopus etc. Whenever you come I recommend the blackened shrimp and hangover burger. Stick with the staples as far as the food goes, and you will be pleased. It's not upscale dining, it's tasty bar food. Consistent drink specials and good service make it that much more appealing. TV's abound and it's always clean and pleasant inside. Nice variety of sports bar décor. The outdoor palapa bar is a great set up. It's a decent view of Clear Lake and pet friendly. During a pandemic you go out to enjoy a good meal. When the food is barely edible it's shameful. I received a plate of food that was simply not enjoyable. I ordered a seafood meal. The rice was burn, the sauce salty. Once I asked for the manager after he finished flirting and playing with the wait staff. He looked at me as if I was disturbing him when he got to my table. He saw the food and burned rice that was in several clunks on my plate. The only thing he could say was I'll tell the chef. I was so passed off.. I was on date night with my husband and didn't want to upset our night but I won't return to this place again. Not only did they have the nerve the charge me for the meal that I didn't eat they charged extra for the rice because I order a salad with meal that I was told came with two sides. This place is seriously a hell hole. Once O asked for the manager nothing was done to try and make us feel comfortable. After seeing my plate made it too my table in the condition it was in I refused too eat another bite of it. If burned rice and salty gravy could make it on my plate from the kitchen who knows of the condition of the kitchen. I live in seabrook so I am local customer and go once week, I drink crown on the rocks regularly and ordered a crown drink there, it didn't have the taste of crown at all so I got another one and it was the same, said screw this i need to talk to a manager, talked to the manager he said he "swears" that it's crown. After that discussion he didn't do anything but kick us out of sams boat. Food is shit unless you order the tacos or mahi sandwich, WATCH OUT about ordering premium liquor as they fill the premium bottles with crap well liquor as a lot of bars do. I stopped by Sam's Boat shortly after they opened (several years ago) and didn't find anything special about it so I hadn't been back since then. Some others chose this as a destination twice recently and the experience was outstanding both times. The first occasion we had selected seats outside for the sea breeze...but the sea breeze was a little cold that day. The ladies weren't going to make it, so we asked if we could sit inside. We could wait for a standard table or take a high boy table near the bar. We are bar folks so we opted for that. The second time we sat outside and it was splendid. Great atmosphere. Not too loud, plenty of sports on TVs around (so many I couldn't count). There is live music outside on certain days (weekend, when weather is good), which is also nice. The atmosphere fits both the family and bar goer evenly. The menu is deep with options, not just your typical bar fare. With a specialty on seafood, I sampled the grouper with two sides and it was very very good, worth the $16 or so price. Others liked their foods as well, and we were relatively picky (asking for some substitutions, even at more cost). The server was very accommodating. Overall the service on trip #1 was a bit slow, albeit it was crowded. A few times a water request went unfilled for a while, and it took some time to flag down our server for the check. In her defense, we had been sitting for a while socializing (and still drinking). I could tell she was a bit over subscribed but did fine. The second trip (less crowded, before dinner on a Saturday) was top notch. She was at our table at the right cadence, keeping the drinks full and bringing out orders quickly. This occasion we went for the crawfish in a couple of waves; the second order came out hotter (temperature) than the first...the first must have been the end of a previous cooked batch. All were good, spiced well. Some of the butter cups (cost a bit extra) were a bit over coagulated (if that is such a thing). One was not. If you're in the inland Seabrook area this is a place worth stopping by. It's a place you might want to bring out of town guests for the Seabrook/Bay Area experience. Food is good to great and service is well run. Prices are a bit higher than other bar areas, but probably worth it, considering the options and seafood specialties. This moves to my short list of places to go for good food and good drink. read more

I stayed for 30 minutes, so I can only base my review off of a single item ordered - a long island iced tea. You get what you pay for. The long island was $6, but weak. I didn't even feel any alcohol in my system, unlike most long islands. If anything, there is more of an error to put too much than too little alcohol. So, I probably would not recommend this place as a bar. Do not waste your money on the crawfish. The menu states that they have been voted #1 by Texas Monthly. Well I don't know how much they paid for that title. The crawfish are small, over cooked, generally poor quality. Also be aware if they ask you if you want butter and seasoning, it's EXTRA! I would have liked to been told that when I ordered. We normally go to Sam's Boat in Pearland but we were passing by here so we decided to stop. We were seated and then ignored for 15 minutes. The waitress kept passing by us and didn't ask to take our drink order or even acknowledge us. Once she finally did & we ordered, we got our food pretty fast & it was seasoned well & delicious. This was our second trip here. It's a fun place, and would be great for groups. The patio has the best view of Clear Lake. The seafood is served fresh and hot, and the bar has good specials on the right nights. Wife had the Mixed Grill and I enjoyed the Sampler Basket, but that only touches the choices. Nothing really surprising, but if you want good seafood with fun atmosphere and reasonable prices, you won't be disappointed. And it has lots of screen for sports viewing. read more

These crawfish aren't great. They were overly salty and whatever seasoning they use just isn't that good. They charge .50 for butter and another .50 for a side of seasoning. It comes with corn and potatoes but I think they weigh it with those so that 2 pounds is really more like a pound and a half. It seemed light. The service is kinda slow and our waitress got all 3 of our bills wrong at the end. They do have a great patio though. For crawfish, I'll stick with Jackie's or Alan's. read more

The space to walk through the tables is limited and for a super heary half horse- half dog to be pulled through the tables is just nasty. The dog's hair is all over your food. I'm a dog lover & I have no problem with a restaurant that is dog friendly, but that was ridiculous. Pitbulls- seriously!!! Even the inside of the restaurant was not appealing ether. 3. The food was horrible. No taste on anything. I ordered the sample plater. The plate had a full bottom of not appealing fries. A 4 by 2 inches battered fish, 3 fried shrimps & 2 hush poppies. No seasoning at all. I had to squeeze 6 lemon wedges to taste something. To make it even worse the platter was $12.00. I don't mind paying for a $12.00 for good food. That was our experience. But you might like the place if you're ok with stupid staff, huge dogs, possibly getting bit by a pitbull, dog hair in your food and expensive horrible food. read more

To start this off, I want to say that I am currently working in the restaurant industry as a server, and this is the worst experience in dining I've had in at least a year. I don't mean to be a Karen, but DANG!! For starters, the server didn't introduce herself she simply started with "do y'all wanna order drinks?" Sure, why not.... We ordered some waters to start off and tried ordering appetizers but she walked off as soon as I started trying to order, we normally have a couple of adult drinks with our meal, but ended up just not feeling it. She came back with the waters shortly, and then asked about the apps so we ordered the crawfish queso and the stuffed jalapeños, they came out in about 10 minutes, the crawfish was burnt to a MF CRISP and the queso was not good, they probably put some velveeta in the microwave or something. Then we decided to order two fish plates. Mine was flounder topped with crawfish etouffee and the other plate was reddish topped with etouffee. The food came out pretty quick, but omg... the only semi good thing about this meal was the fish itself and I'd rate it a solid 3.5/10. My red beans and rice tasted like some bud light that sat out in the backyard two days after a house party and the mashed potatoes tasted a tad bit too INSTANT if you catch my drift. Server never came by and asked how everything was so we just asked for the check and she ran the credit and just dropped it on the table and said "have a good night" and walked away quickly.
