Excellent spot to catch a good meal. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the location was perfect for our commute.

A great find. We had made to order burritos (a fish and a veggie). Fresh ingredients, friendly family owned a run.

I was staying in Atascadero…read morelooking for a local coffee shop there and instead of hitting the one I thought was going to in my GPS, I accidentally hit Amstrdm instead. Even though it was a 15 minute drive up the freeway from where I was, it was worth every minute. The downtown area this shop is in was really cool, plenty of parking, and the moment you walked into this coffee shop you could tell it was going to be good. Lots of space, people sitting and having conversations, and a greeting from the Barista the second I walked through the door. I went with my standard iced oat milk latte with honey and a triple shot and it was perfect. I wish I could have drank it there because the inside of the shop seemed like a place you could hang out for a while. Unfortunately, I had to take it on the road, but that is a shop (if I lived in that area) I would drive out of my way to get to. Well done guys!

To be fair, we did order a latte, so that is partly expected. The breakfast sandwich was good but a little underseasoned and could have used a bit more flavor overall. The chicken pesto sandwich was the standout. The pesto was well balanced and did not overpower the rest of the ingredients, which made the sandwich really pleasant to eat. Overall, everything was solid, though slightly pricey for the portion sizes. The food was good, but nothing especially memorable. Still, it is a nice stop if you are in the area.

This King City location is one we've visited a number of times, usually on the northbound trip. This last time we got a venti Frappuccino to share, and I ordered a chocolate chip cookie for something sweet. There was a line to use the restroom, and the order took a while to be filled. It was just an okay visit, as a result. The drink was well made. We got to stretch our legs a bit, and pick up the refreshments to boost our spirits and energy to push on to Sonoma County. The interior, while not the most interesting decor, is still miles ahead of one of our more local Starbucks. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, eh?

We ordered two drinks and, after receiving them, asked if we could also get a cup of water. For context, there was no line behind us, just one car. Instead of simply handing us a water, we were told we had to go back through the drive-thru kiosk and place another order. We weren't asking for another drink to be made, just a cup of water while we were already at the window. The whole situation felt unnecessarily inconvenient and the response came across as dismissive.

We found ourselves in Atascadero, needed some good coffee and found this gem!…read more The coffee house seems small from the outside, but there is plenty of room inside. They have sofa seating and many seating tables. Staff was friendly and helpful. They serve fresh pastries and also have other food items such as sandwiches and wraps. We tried their Mexican mocha and vanilla latte. Both were very good with a rich coffee flavor that we like. We also had their chocolate chip scone which was very good as well. They also have gluten free pastry options. Overall, a great coffee house. If we are in the area next time, we will definitely stop by for some more good coffee and pastries! Happy Nom Nom!

The berry breakfast cookie was tasteless, grainy and bland. After one bite, I knew it was not a good choice. - I requested an exchange for a pastry I had purchased many times before. I go to this cafe at least once a e a week. The staff was rude, dismissive and offered no options. I was not offered an exchange, a refund or a food credit. I left the uneaten item at the register. - There are so many other nearby spots to try instead of Bru. Binx just opened and offers free stickers, vegan options and a deeply friendly staff. Wendy Whites also just opened and offers a vegan chocolate cookie with a cayenne kick and adorable decor! Johnny Boy's has a big selection of breakfast sandwiches and next door at Bramble, the chocolate cookies are phenomenal! The brand new Nana's has gluten free pastries, coffee beverages featuring local brews and a truly kind staff. All of these spots are grateful to have my business so, I'll be going to these locations from now on.
