Waiting for my pizza and wings

Pizza was much better than I had thought it would be. I thought the prices were decent, with my small combo pizza costing $11.99 (6 slices). They had three flavors of wings.. Buffalo, bbq and plain. I got bbq and the smaller 6 piece portion. Wings were ok. Service was friendly and really quick. You get to grab your own peppers and Parmesan cheese which is nice.

This is the ranch these punks gave me instead of the blue cheese

Shady people that don't give you what you order I'm hoping the owner will shout out to me when I can talk to somebody who's an adult and not these children who work there.

    Burnt pizza

My family has ordered from this place many times, on my birthday they burnt almost all of our pizzas. The guy at the register had an attitude when we called back SAME DAY asking for a refund. He proceeded to mention that he can't give us a refund but can remake it. We were on our way up to LA and there is no way we were going to come back to get remade pizzas. He then suggested we send an email to the manager. We did (SAME DAY), we then did not get a simple call or email back for the next week! I had to call AGAIN and asked what day the manager comes in, then proceeded to have to wait ANOTHER WEEK till he was in store for me to call. I called and asked for the manager and he was very rude. Never been this mistreated in my life especially over pizza... his name was John and said he can't give us a refund since it has been two weeks. It has only been 2 weeks because of your employees! I told him the whole story and said check your email. It has time stamps and photos of the burnt pizza! He said they get thousands of emails everyday. Maybe then don't suggest your customers to send you one asking for help on their pizza order? He said he would look into getting us store credit for $80 worth of pizza. Never called or emailed us back. Very unfortunate, I will never come back here and advise people are gambling on good pizza. If you get a bad pizza, lol good luck getting compensated! I hope the owner sees this, because there has been several reviews about your employees customer service. Order #198698

The buffalo ranch pizza was really good. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. The wings were okay but still good. Would come back again to try their other pizzas.

Some of the WORST pizza I have ever eaten. The rest of the pizza is in the garbage. Sorry. Frozen is MUCH better.

Pizza is amazing. Service, not so much. Kind of hit or miss. The food quality allows me to tolerate the sporadical nonsense.

This place is good. Tried it for the first time a month ago. It was crowded but we got our food pretty quick and was delicious.

Pizza and wings hit the spot. Can't beat the price either. Needed some pizza and that's what we got! I really enjoyed all of it.

Cosentino's Pizza -- San Clemente Pier…read more Let me clarify something immediately: I did not come for a peaceful walk. I came riding a crazy-ass Tesla-fast go-kart, basically stolen from my own kid Max -- because daddy needs to have some fun too. Life's about balance, okay? Parenting and speed violations on a pier. And right there, mid-ride, ocean wind slapping my face, seagulls plotting crimes -- Cosentino's Pizza appears like a divine pit stop. The pizza? Straight fire. Crispy crust, perfect chew, cheese pulling like it's auditioning for a commercial, sauce hitting that "don't ask questions, just eat" zone. This is the kind of slice you eat standing up, slightly out of breath, helmet still on, questioning your life choices -- in the best way possible. Now pause everything. GIA. Boss. Manager. Queen. Controller of the oven universe. Cool, sharp, zero nonsense, all heart. You can feel she runs the place just by the way everything works. And then... the chocolate chip cookies. I'm not exaggerating. These cookies should be regulated by the government. Warm, gooey, perfectly balanced, chocolate melting like it knows it's special. One bite and you forget you were just committing minor pier-related felonies in a go-kart. Pizza on the pier. Ocean views. Stolen go-kart from my kid. Gia dropping the best motherfing cookies on planet Earth*. If you're on San Clemente Pier and you skip Cosentino's -- seek help. If you stop here -- welcome to the correct timeline. Max, I'll return the go-kart later. Probably.

My mom used to love coming to Cosentino's Pizza whenever we were back in town. This year, we…read morereturned under much different circumstances--we were there to lay my mom to rest. As a family, we wanted to have lunch at one of her favorite places and spend some time remembering and celebrating her. I've waited a while before posting this review because I wanted to be fair and separate the emotions surrounding our visit from the actual experience. The first day we stopped in, the drink machine was being replaced and the restaurant wasn't open. That was completely understandable. What was disappointing was the attitude we received from the young staff when we simply asked when they expected to reopen. We got the typical "I don't know" response, and when we tried asking a couple of follow-up questions for clarification, they seemed annoyed and really weren't interested in helping. We aren't from the area and had specifically made the trip over because of what this place meant to my mom. We figured the first experience was just an off moment, so we came back the next day when they were open. Unfortunately, the same general attitude from the young staff carried over and really took away from the experience. The food itself wasn't the problem--it was the lack of friendliness, hospitality, and basic customer service. Of course, they had no way of knowing why we were there, and we certainly didn't expect or feel the need to explain that we had just buried our mom. But that's also the point: you never really know why someone has walked through your door or what that visit might mean to them. I wish our experience had been different, especially because Cosentino's held such good memories for our family and for my mom. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to those memories. Food is good.....

The ambiance at Truly Pizza was great and the staff was super friendly. The open-air patio made us feel like we were in Europe. I'd heard reservations were needed, but we went without one and only waited five minutes to be seated. Our food was excellent and the staff was very accommodating with my two year old grandson. We also learned a bit of food history: although Caesar salad is often thought of as Italian, it was actually created in Tijuana, Mexico, in 1924 by Italian immigrant restaurateur Caesar Cardini. We ordered the pizza, choosing from three different crusts. I especially liked the square and sesame crusts. Our favorites were the sweet-and-spicy pizza and the Mike's Honey pizza, both had great flavor combinations. Dessert was a bit more hit-or-miss for me. I could have passed on the ice cream with olive oil. Something about the combination didn't quite work for me; it reminded me of eating a salad with ice cream. Overall, Truly Pizza was a fantastic experience, with a beautiful atmosphere, welcoming service, and excellent pizza. I'd definitely come back for the pizza and patio alone.

The place is cute and open to air so there was a nice breeze in the summer heat. The food was not bad, but it greatly disappointed me and is overhyped. The pizza crust is too hard and the flavors aren't amazing. Unfortunately, it was not really anything special to me. I loved the salad though, that was definitely the star of the show. We also got floats, which was fun. Otherwise, I wouldn't choose to come here, but I wouldn't be opposed if my friends or family wanted to come.
