Very delicious pizza! The staff is very friendly! We are from Las Vegas but every time we visit San Clemente we head to this pizza spot especially after going to the beach. This place is good. Tried it for the first time a month ago. It was crowded but we got our food pretty quick and was delicious.

Stumbled on this spot as I drove by the beach and it looked like the local hole in the wall for good pizza. Not only was it good, it was above expectations! Great crust and perfect amount of cheese and sauce. They took my order and served up the pizza with a smile the whole time too! Good vibes over there. My family has ordered from this place many times, on my birthday they burnt almost all of our pizzas. The guy at the register had an attitude when we called back SAME DAY asking for a refund. He proceeded to mention that he can't give us a refund but can remake it. We were on our way up to LA and there is no way we were going to come back to get remade pizzas. He then suggested we send an email to the manager. We did (SAME DAY), we then did not get a simple call or email back for the next week! I had to call AGAIN and asked what day the manager comes in, then proceeded to have to wait ANOTHER WEEK till he was in store for me to call. I called and asked for the manager and he was very rude. Never been this mistreated in my life especially over pizza... his name was John and said he can't give us a refund since it has been two weeks. It has only been 2 weeks because of your employees! I told him the whole story and said check your email. It has time stamps and photos of the burnt pizza! He said they get thousands of emails everyday. Maybe then don't suggest your customers to send you one asking for help on their pizza order? He said he would look into getting us store credit for $80 worth of pizza. Never called or emailed us back. Very unfortunate, I will never come back here and advise people are gambling on good pizza. If you get a bad pizza, lol good luck getting compensated! The crust was what I would call a "New York" style, foldable slices and a little limp in the middle, thin but not crispy or crunchy and the outer crust was crisp and chewy, I likey like this lol. We ordered a Margherita, a white pizza, and the farmer's salad. The farmer's salad was basic. The greens were very large leaves. Not a big deal but just a FYI. You'll have to cut it down further. The Margherita pizza was pretty good. They baked the basil with the pizza instead of topping it freshly. The white pizza, though, was not good. While the crust was thinly crisped, it was bland and had next to no flavor. So disappointed! It looked a little too baked - like the toppings looked a bit burnt BUT it didn't taste burnt fortunately. I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza we had delivered late at night. To me, it was like a nicer version of Costco pizza..which may sound bad, but it isn't at all. My boyfriend wasn't as much a fan of his meat pizza as I was of my Margherita, so maybe simple is better. But anyway, I was a big fan! Ordered delivery tonight. Received a soggy pizza. We couldn't eat it, it just fell apart it was so soggy. Called to give feedback, not wanting anything. The man I talked to proceeded to argue with me that he cut the pizza and he thought it was, if anything, over cooked. The top was overcooked but the dough was undercooked. Don't know why he would argue with me when I was just giving feedback and I'm the one who tried to eat it. I wasn't going to leave a review but after how defensive and rude that guy was, I felt this was probably better. He told me he was the best pizza place in San Clemente.... Hahahaha! Ok guy! You are really killing the game with that attitude. In my experience with this place is that it can be good pizza but half the time it's a gamble unfortunately. I wouldn't say it's the best pizza. Not once, not most of the time or a majority of time, but every single time my orders that are placed far ahead of time are just found when I walk in, causing them to begin the process in along existing line of orders. The point of an order being placed 30 minutes prior is to have it ready or at least be told the proper time expectation- not be frustrated when walking in and the store realizing they should have begun it (and could have begun it) long ago.
