Good ingredients, but they don't leave it in the oven long enough. Not baked through.

You order at the counter down below and they call your food as each item is ready. Pizza came out first so we started there. Not my favorite pizza. Very doughy and soft, the sauce is a little sweet. My 13/14 year old LOVED the pizza so who am I to criticize. Next came the baked wings. Ask for them well done so they come out crispy and yummy. I appreciate that these are not fried and seed oils. These were the gem of the meal. Only thing I would change is the freezing cold wing sauce they put on the side from the refrigerator. But def a winner. Next came out the salad, we got the port salad with roasted butternut squash, grilled portobello's, Argus and loads of blue cheese. This salad was FIRE!!! The only knock is they don't make their own dressing so you get a little side of plastic canister of Ken's salad dressing, which is a decent dressing but full of canola and soybean oil next time I would probably bring my own dressing or just squeeze some lemon on it and put some olive oil that I brought with me, but that's just me being picky. It's a damn good salad. I wish it didn't come out 30 minutes after i ordered. It was 12pm so I didn't have any beer, my mistake I'm sure. Consensus: I would come back for wings and salad for sure, the pizza needs some work.

From 11 months ago…read more To Whom It May Concern, I'm writing to formally report a safety incident that occurred at your Pizza Port location on July 10 at approximately 8:10 PM. While entering toward the second-floor parking lot, my daughter slipped on what appeared to be discarded pieces of salad near the stairwell. This posed a serious hazard, and it's unacceptable that no preventative cleaning or signage was in place. As a general manager in the restaurant industry, I understand that accidents happen -- but how they're handled is what defines your operation. When I brought the issue to the manager on duty, it was met with a dismissive and careless attitude. No guest complaint form was offered, no apology was extended, and no effort was made to make things right. At the very least, we should have been offered a complimentary meal - especially given that we were there to enjoy dinner, and it's not easy for families to dine out in today's economy. This situation was not only poorly managed, but it showed a lack of regard for guest safety and hospitality. I expect a follow-up on how your team plans to address this issue, both in terms of cleanliness and customer service, to ensure no other guest has to experience this. Name of manage on duty was Carson and general manager Braden nuxoll still hasn't done a single thing. Very sad for such a good establishment to get ruined by bad management While that was terrible experience I have still come and enjoy coming as a poor shift leader does not reflect on food quality. Food is still great

Cosentino's Pizza -- San Clemente Pier…read more Let me clarify something immediately: I did not come for a peaceful walk. I came riding a crazy-ass Tesla-fast go-kart, basically stolen from my own kid Max -- because daddy needs to have some fun too. Life's about balance, okay? Parenting and speed violations on a pier. And right there, mid-ride, ocean wind slapping my face, seagulls plotting crimes -- Cosentino's Pizza appears like a divine pit stop. The pizza? Straight fire. Crispy crust, perfect chew, cheese pulling like it's auditioning for a commercial, sauce hitting that "don't ask questions, just eat" zone. This is the kind of slice you eat standing up, slightly out of breath, helmet still on, questioning your life choices -- in the best way possible. Now pause everything. GIA. Boss. Manager. Queen. Controller of the oven universe. Cool, sharp, zero nonsense, all heart. You can feel she runs the place just by the way everything works. And then... the chocolate chip cookies. I'm not exaggerating. These cookies should be regulated by the government. Warm, gooey, perfectly balanced, chocolate melting like it knows it's special. One bite and you forget you were just committing minor pier-related felonies in a go-kart. Pizza on the pier. Ocean views. Stolen go-kart from my kid. Gia dropping the best motherfing cookies on planet Earth*. If you're on San Clemente Pier and you skip Cosentino's -- seek help. If you stop here -- welcome to the correct timeline. Max, I'll return the go-kart later. Probably.

Get to the store, Ella greets us and is tremendously helpful throughout the whole evening! We didn't really interact with any other staff members but Ella is a fantastic person to have on the team! And judging by the rest of meal, the rest of the team is amazing, as well. We ordered the Meatball Bianca with a side house salad and a pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and bell peppers. Oh. My. Gosh. Everything tasted so fresh, and was served quickly. Even the salad was good (I had a few bites but I'm not much of salad guy, this salad could change my mind!) A mishap with a beverage was quickly cleaned up and a replacement arrived instantaneously. It was a great meal with great service. We will be back! Thanks Ella! And thanks to the whole team!

They're smoked and dry rubbed instead of gooey and sticky. Their pizzas are unique combinations, and you can get personal sized and even do half half toppings of the large size. Went for a second time this week and were surprised to have accidentally joined their trivia night on Wednesdays! Service is so quick and friendly, you order at the counter, but they'll come to your table for extra orders. Love!

Instead, she found herself waiting on the cancellation list, hoping someone wouldn't show up. I remember thinking, "That's a long drive for pizza." Two hours later, walking back to the car completely stuffed, I understood. We had reservations for six, booked a few weeks in advance, and it all made sense by the end of the meal. The Sweet & Spicy was the standout for me, balancing sweetness, heat, and creamy cheese without letting any one flavor overpower the others. The Truly White was a pleasant surprise. Creamy ricotta and pepperoncinis don't seem like obvious partners, but the tang from the peppers kept the richness in check and made each bite better than the last. The Smoky Vodka packed bold flavor, and even the classic cheese reminded me how difficult it is to perfect something so simple. Every pizza shared the same foundation: an airy, beautifully blistered crust with just the right amount of chew. It carried the toppings effortlessly while still being flavorful enough to enjoy on its own. This is comfort food maximized. The Dana Point Wedge was outstanding and easily worth sharing. We also ordered the spicy wings, which brought plenty of flavor and just the right amount of heat. Almost as an afterthought, we ordered a few sides of their house made ranch for the wings. Before long, we were dipping pizza into it too. I don't usually mention ranch in a review, but this one deserves it. It's comfortably in my top three I've ever had. Don't skip dessert. We ordered both soft serve flavors available that day, Olive Oil and Cherry. They couldn't have been more different, yet both were exceptional. The Olive Oil was silky, subtle, and unexpectedly elegant, while the Cherry was bright, refreshing, and the perfect finish after such a rich meal. The Ace Pear Cider was crisp, refreshing, and paired beautifully with everything we ordered. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine without ever feeling rehearsed. The patio was comfortable without sitting in direct sunlight, and even the restroom was clean. There was a line for that too, which honestly made me laugh because it felt just as hard to get into as the restaurant itself. Parking is limited, but we found street parking about a block away. After eating this much pizza, the slow walk back to the car felt earned.
