I only have one word to say when using this business: BEWARE!…read moreI took in my echo hedge trimmer for repair. Romero said it would be $15.00 for diagnostic. I said ok. One week later I called cuz I had not heard from him. He said it was the starter and it would be ready the next day for pick up and it would be $55.00.( Saturday) I said sure go ahead and repair it and I'll pick it up on Monday. Then out of the blue I get a call from him on Sunday morning saying that the engine block was cracked ( rayado in spanish). He then said would you like me to junk it ? I said absolutely not. I would be in on Monday to pick it up and he still charged me the #15.00! Well, I picked up the hedge trimmer took it to a small engine repair shop on ninth st. In Rancho Cucamonga on April 12 where the young man said he would take a look at it and would only charge me for diagnosis ($15) if its repairable. He called me after a few days and said that the hedge trimmer was running and that all it needed was a tune up , air filter, and carb tloune up for. A total cost of $70.00! Well, I said BEWARE in the start of this review about this place because I came to the conclusion that they have a scam going where they tell the client that their machines are not repairable and then encourage the customer to "junk" their machines just so they can then repair them then turn around and sell them at the swap meet or out of their store!!!!! THINK TWICE AND BEWARE!!!!!

NOT fast and not the best service or price anymore…read more I've had my lawnmower tuned up by this shop a few years ago for $50 (chg. air filter, spark plug, oil, clean out carburetor, sharpen blade). I went in there recently and a kid with braces quoted $20 for diagnostics. OK. Waited 30+ minutes for him to show me a fouled up spark plug (I already know) and a tune up price of $115. No thanks. Look elsewhere for a more honest deal or DIY using $20 tune up kit and basic tools.

What impressed me was how quickly and professionally they handled the situation. They were very kind and understanding and made sure I received the product I ordered right away. When I came into the store to pick it up, Angie greeted me with a smile and was incredibly helpful. Since it was my first time there, she took the time to show me around and helped me with several other products I was interested in. She even went the extra mile to look up additional information on the computer for me. Great customer service can make all the difference when something doesn't go as planned, and A-OK Power equipment definitely came through. I'll absolutely be coming back and purchasing more products from them. Highly recommended! Vincent

It took nine months to get the carburetor in. They told me they would replace the carburetor all I would have to do is pay for the carburetor and then we install it for free since they already charged me for the previous service. I said OK I went to go pick it up. They said they didn't fix it because it was a cost-effective . It was gonna be more than the chainsaw was worth, but the carburetor was only $70 so they didn't wanna spend their time replacing the carburetor because they were gonna get paid for it after they said they were gonna do it. They didn't anticipate it was gonna be a lot more work than expected so they basically said we're not gonna do it unless you want to pay the $235 for service. I will never do business with them again. The service lady was rude and disrespectful. Basically said to bad we don't alwyget what we want. Instead of working me she brushed me off.. worst service I ever experienced. She also said we have had issues with our technicians and had to have them replace. I wonder how many people got ripped off.

Reflective Insulation Radiant Barrier Roll At 5mm thick was the perfect thickness to place outside my hottest window. It was stiff and fit perfectly between my screen and the outside of my window. The radiant barrier insulation appears to be 3 times as thick as the aluminum window insulation I purchased from amazon.com but the reflectivity seems lower. I decided to try using them together. I added a layer of aluminum window insulation on the outside and the radiant barrier on the inside. In the summer the sun shines on the window the longest and the angle is straight on so the room is exposed from around 12pm - 7pm and it has always been the hottest room in the townhouse. I took temperature readings at 6pm which is around when that room gets the hottest.  On the left side of the window it's just glass and all the insulation is on the inside.  The insulation for the left side of the window: 165F layer 1 low-E 3 glass 113F layer 2 a layer of aluminum window insulation on the outside and the radiant barrier on the inside. 107F layer 3  1" thick foam insulation 95F layer 4 1" thick foam insulation 85F layer 5 1" thick foam insulation On the right side of the window I have the radiant barrier insulation and aluminum window insulation on the outside of the glass. 95F layer 1 a layer of aluminum window insulation on the outside and the radiant barrier on the inside. 85F layer 2 low-E 3 glass Patio 84F Bedroom 80F From my test results I have proven that insulation is much better at keeping the heat out when placed outside the glass and the radiant barrier insulation with aluminum window insulation work great. together. I was surprised to find the left window glass got up to 165F. This is due to it getting hit by a double dose of solar radiation. Normally it would just get hit by the sun once but the reflective insulation on the inside of the glass reflects the sun against it a 2nd time. Another interesting test result is I get about a 10F temperature reduction with each 1" layer of foam insulation. If the summer gets hotter I can make them room cooler by adding 1" foam insulation to the right side window. Sadly there isn't any more room on the left side for more foam insulation.
