I only have one word to say when using this business: BEWARE! I took in my echo hedge trimmer for repair. Romero said it would be $15.00 for diagnostic. I said ok. One week later I called cuz I had not heard from him. He said it was the starter and it would be ready the next day for pick up and it would be $55.00.( Saturday) I said sure go ahead and repair it and I'll pick it up on Monday. Then out of the blue I get a call from him on Sunday morning saying that the engine block was cracked ( rayado in spanish). He then said would you like me to junk it ? I said absolutely not. I would be in on Monday to pick it up and he still charged me the #15.00! Well, I picked up the hedge trimmer took it to a small engine repair shop on ninth st. In Rancho Cucamonga on April 12 where the young man said he would take a look at it and would only charge me for diagnosis ($15) if its repairable. He called me after a few days and said that the hedge trimmer was running and that all it needed was a tune up , air filter, and carb tloune up for. A total cost of $70.00! Well, I said BEWARE in the start of this review about this place because I came to the conclusion that they have a scam going where they tell the client that their machines are not repairable and then encourage the customer to "junk" their machines just so they can then repair them then turn around and sell them at the swap meet or out of their store!!!!! NOT fast and not the best service or price anymore. I've had my lawnmower tuned up by this shop a few years ago for $50 (chg. air filter, spark plug, oil, clean out carburetor, sharpen blade). I went in there recently and a kid with braces quoted $20 for diagnostics. OK. Waited 30+ minutes for him to show me a fouled up spark plug (I already know) and a tune up price of $115. No thanks. Look elsewhere for a more honest deal or DIY using $20 tune up kit and basic tools. read more

So over priced. bad timely service. Sad that you can't trust small businesses. First red flag was they didn't call when they said they would. And so i compared to others once they gave me a quote for a tune up and it was ridiculously more than twice what other shops were asking. 20.00 diagnosis tells you they are automatically going to be higher priced. Now i know. Won't be going there ever and don't recommend this place. i support small businesses but not ones that price gauge , especially in these times. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! My fiancé took his saw and generator in for a diagnosis . Was called days later and told the saw engine was blown and that it would cost $700 and the generator needed a new carburetor and could be repaired for $500. He was offered to just leave the tools there since they were no good if he declined to fix them and they would dispose. The saw actually only needed a pull cord and it now works great, my fiancé did it himself. The generator needed carburetor cleaner.... it cost him $4.00 and it works perfect. We're they not competent or just shady? From other reviews, we think they are just plain shady and planned to sell the tools. Go elsewhere! Do not leave your tools for them to dispose of it for you! Not into doing negative reviews but this place is kinda forcing me to Took my toro lawnmower in for a diagnosis and was contacted a week later Guess I needed a standard tune up which is $115 Damn that's pretty pricey but ok whatever go ahead and do it but did it have to take a week to find that out? A few days later I was contacted stating that my transmission cable and throttle cable were bad and needed to get replaced at $25 each cable I opted for just the throttle cable since I knew the transmission cable was still in operating condition and was more concerned with the mower actually staying on When I went to pick it up $140 later my transmission cable was broken Wait, why is this cable broken? I asked and was told that's how it was turned in Don't think a person would need a diagnosis on a broken cable that is visible and I know what that cable controls Since I had my 4 year old son with me I decided not to blow up and as calmly as I could explained that this is not how the lawnmower was turned in but off course no one knew anything This was the first and absolutely the last time I do business with this company My advice would be that if you decide to try them out take pics of your equipment and watch who takes your equipment to the back and actually speak to the person that will work on the equipment not just anyone Really wanted to like this company but sadly they helped me in making my decision to take my business elsewhere next time read more

Fast Lawn Mower is just that ... fast! I took my lawn mower in for a tune up around 11am on a Saturday. At 2pm I received a call with an estimate and 30 minutes later is was ready for pick up. The price was fair for a complete tune up (spark plugs, air filter, oil change, blade sharpening) and rebuild of the carburetor. I highly recommend this shop! read more

I first took in my weed-wacker that wouldn't start. They gave it a tune-up including the carburetor redone. Then today I took in my lawn mower for a tune-up including an oil change. I asked him to check why the self propel wasn't working. He fixed that also as part of the price he had already gave me. And he did all this in about 15 min while I waited. I came in on a Sunday is probably why he was able to do it right then. All in All, they have been Great! read more

I went to this place for a basic tuneup. I was asking the owner Romero what this entailed. The more I asked the ruder he got, mind me I'm not to familiar with lawnmowers. So I ignored his rudeness and unprofessionalism saying to myself he is just having a bad day so I left my equipment. The first time I took my Kawasaki hedge trimmer in these people did an amazing service for me. I gave them a 5 star. So then I decided to take in my husqvarna chainsaw in to repair a leak. They ordered a " special " part n supposedly fixed it. A few weeks later went to use the chainsaw only to see that the leak they fixed had leaked all over my shelf in the shed. Why not take it back? I'll get there; also took in my Toro lawnmower and told them not too touch the blade as it was brand new but change the oil. The mower only uses full synthetic as they put regular n therefore my mower was knocking until I put the correct oil in. My blade needed replacing again so I went to remove the bolt n holy hell, these fuckers put loctite on it. Breaker bar, air impact, that fucker isn't budging. I call in n not Arcadio 9/19/17 2:20 pm but another man says "yes" we put the blue loctite on them but tries to cover his ass n says only if the customer recommends. I told them not to touch the fucking blade! The lady at the desk is awesome, Arcadio is great, his worker that fucked up my equipment cost him my business n I will not recommend anyone after this. read more

I took my weed trimmer to get a new gas tank because it wasn't any good anymore and then I realized that it needed a new spark plug plus and a little tune up. Took it home thinking good my weed trimmer should work good now wrong it kept turning of so I took it back because they left it worse than what it was I took it back and they told me it was another thing I told them that is why I paid 120 for right then they said well the device was 40 witch didn't do nothing changed things that were still good on it and 65 for the gas tank witch the lady said it was 45 now they want to charge me another 75 worst place ever don't ever go here my father has 30 years of experience in landscaping and he said they ripped me off so please don't go here go to the one in temple city they will tell you what it is on the spot. oh I took it to temple city and only charged be 10 bucks it took them 15 min or less to do the job read more

This is the second time I give my business to this shop. The first time I took them my 20 inch tru cut lawnmower for service and they did a decent job, however I thought the labor and parts were somewhat high. I recently took them a second tru cut a 25 lawnmower and paid approximately $ 400 for parts to include a carburetor and a full tune up A FULL TUNE UP. I picked up the lawnmower they turned it on for me and everything looked and sounded great. I got home and checked the oil and it was black. I called the owner up and he claims his mechanic changed the oil twice and it is still black because of the residue on the walls inside the engine . The owner told me if I am not satisfied to bring it over and they can make things right. How hard would it have been to say " Mr. Customer" we are sorry we did forget to change oil and please bring it back and we will change the oil. Instead of admitting a simple mistake they tell you lies. No need to get upset just wont be going there no more and that is why I am writing this review for customers who are thinking about this place can be informed of recent customers experiences. But if you do go here please have in mind "did they really perform the services that I paid for"? If my lawn equipment fails will I have problems with them if I bring it back?
