This review is solely based on my experience with lose-cost vaccines. I went for that event only and didn't experience the actual store. The vaccine clinic was well organized and everything went smoothly. Prices were amazing and the people were helpful. Get there early and bring a chair and prepare to wait. Once the clinic opens, the line moves relatively quickly. If we are still in the area when we need vaccines again we will be back!! read more

Always getting great information for this owner and great product too. Today got advise for food for my Dad's new yorkie/silky dog and he also help out another customer with birds and then another customer with their chickens needs. Also notice he always trying to customer with tips or contact to vet clinics, trainning, available pets for free or sales, etc Good place to start & get info or if you already know what you need he you guy to provide you good quality products at good prices. At first I thought this place was nice, but then I found out a few days ago that they have live animals that they will sell or give out for free. This is very sad to see - I thought it was just a pet supply store. All animals should be brought to rescues and accredited adoption facilities. I will not be coming back or supporting this business. read more

Product is very well stocked. They have a wide selection of dog grooming needs. I stopped by trying to avoid going to a large chain pet store, this was on my way to the freeway and I was short on time. I came in to get a name tag for my new pup. They have a variety of color tags, small or large. The engraving machine is in the back of the store, I wrote down dogs name, address and phone # on a paper and the guy took it to the back. He came out a few min later with the tag. I did not like how it came out. Name and street are on one side small font. City & phone on the other side in large font... I was expecting every thing on one side, or name on one side and the rest on the other side. Anyway I just paid for it and went on my way. Might have just been a lack of communication, and I didn't give him a chance to fix it. read more

I come here to get the victor brand dog food for my pit bull which is hard to find in San Diego but has the most nutrients this place is the bomb they also had meds to treat his allergies! Anyone with pit bulls knows exactly how cumbersome finding the right medication can be! They also had flee tick and heart worm meds! I have been going here for about a year and will continue until they close or I die life time customer earned! read more

Super customer service. The owner's name is George and he goes out of his way to help you. Reasonable prices and complete attention to your questions and concerns. Even gave me bottled water as it was a hot day. Bought dog food for our two Siberian Huskies and also collar to walk both of them at the same time. This is now where I get my dog food. This is one of the few pet stores that carry Canidae ALS which a lot of the pet stores do not carry. Amazons price is the same price but i prefer to support the smaller local businesses. Their dog food prices are definitely better than Petco which is right down the street. Employees are very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend. Also very easy to find. It's right across the street from the big lemon in Lemon Grove. read more

Location was easy to find and I found easy parking on the side street. Came in for some dog food for my 6 months German Shepherd puppy.The staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. They are also currently giving free dog baths away for the next few weeks. The store has a great selection of food and other pet items. While i was there a customer thank George, the owner for saving her some money by recommending a product for her dogs skin condition and that she saved on having to pay a costly vet visit bill. Last time I went to Petco in Chula Vista and the help was young and proved to not be very helpful or sure about much.....maybe he still needed some training. I also notice a nice price difference which is always nice to save some money when you have to buy 50lbs bag every month. I also got some dog training advise and told me where there was some great dog training available for FREE! I making this my new pet store. I suggest you check them out read more

Great little neighborhood pet store! Lots of dog and cat food options and supplies. I didn't think they had stuff for reptiles at first, but asked about crickets just in case and turns out they have that stuff too! Owners are always friendly, and the teenager helping out offered to carry out my giant bag of dog food which was much appreciated. Prices are the same as Amazon, so can't get a better deal, and I would rather support local. read more
