Through out a 10 year span I have purchased over 40+ Marquis dress shirt and I am familiar with the MSRP price and the mark up. It ranges from $27-$30 and that's already with a 60% mark up factored in. The lady was trying to rip me off when she saw I was willing to buy. She was brought out 4 shirts and stated she had more colors in the back. I inquired about the price because the dress shirts had no price sticker/tag on them. She stated $50. I showed her the price from 3 competitors and Amazon and said I was willing to pay $40 ( Tax included ) since i was already there and she said no. I know it's a mom n pop shop and they are trying to make a profit and I support independently owned/ small businesses. I understand maybe a $5-$7 mark up but $20? That's insane. Your making people not want to shop at stores like yours and you wonder why you don't have business. So before you buy at this store check the prices online. I hate to say it.

Even when the owner of the TWO stores around the corner tried to give me a dirty suit at a discounted price just so I wouldn't go to Pam's, I still bought my suit with Pam anyway just because of the care and the service she provided to me. Not to mention that the other owner told me before I left to go look at Pam's Imports: "You won't be able to afford her prices, you'll be back." Now mind you, it was a stretch from what I wanted to pay, but I had to ensure that I walked past her store with TWO bags from Pam's just to let you know "Yes I can afford it and I will buy it from someone else other than YOU!" I was gifting my wife on our wedding day a North Face jacket and got it embroidered "Mrs. Tolentino" on the back. It's the wife's favorite jacket! Herb was super friendly. I got to chat with him while he worked his magic. His business may be in his garage but everything about him and his business was very professional.
