    Stain after removing paper floor mat

    1 star. Would not recommend. Bought a used car here and the whole experience felt rushed and disappointing. They used the typical "other people are coming to look at it" pressure tactic to get us to move fast. We were told the car would be detailed and charged before pickup, but neither was really done. They also didn't volunteer the exterior damage on the car until I asked about it directly, which didn't feel transparent. The worst part was finding a stain on the floor mat that had been covered up with a paper mat. When we brought it up, they said we could come back for a detail, but we live an hour away, so that felt like an empty offer. The car also only came with one key, which wasn't clearly disclosed before purchase. A replacement was quoted around $600 by other local dealerships. Overall, it felt like they only cared about getting the sale, not taking care of us after. Would not buy from them again.

    My boyfriend and I started the process of looking for a new car a few weeks ago. We had a very specific car in mind -- the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in teal -- and set out on a mission to find it. We were in contact with several dealerships around the Bay Area, but George truly stood out from the beginning. He answered all of our questions promptly, communicated efficiently via text, and went above and beyond to help us secure an amazing deal. By the time we arrived at the dealership, most of the paperwork and discussions had already been handled remotely, making the entire in-person experience seamless. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and immediately welcomed in. We also had the pleasure of working with Eric and Jin, who were both incredibly helpful in guiding us through the final steps and answering all our questions. Since this is our first EV, the process felt a bit daunting at first, but the team made everything feel easy and stress-free. The best part? After signing the paperwork, we walked outside to find our brand-new car waiting with a bow on it -- and a camera ready to capture the moment. (It only had 9 miles on it!) I can't recommend George and the entire team here enough. After a few hectic weeks of dealership back-and-forth, this was the perfect ending. If you're in the Bay Area and looking for a Hyundai, this is the place to go. They're awesome!

The Ford Store lied to me. I would love to update my review and say that they did anything to try to remedy the situation, but they didn't. I called them a week ago and was promised a call back. I called them a month ago and was promised a call back. I called them today and was promised a call back. They even recognize who I am when I call. If I could give you zero stars, I would. This is not cool. After months and months of the runaround with the credit reporting agency, I finally got an email response today. They said that the Ford store had me sign a form, and therefore the pulling of my credit was perfectly acceptable. Well, I can promise you when they had me sign that form. They promised me that they would not pull my credit. Super unhappy with you. Do not recommend. 0/0

Within the week I had to take the car in to the shop for rattling when the AC was on. Turns out something was installed backwards. Within the second week the Apple Car Play started failing. I took it to the dealership, one of the gentleman came out and did a quick troubleshooting (deleted devices and added back). Fast forward to March 2026, Car play has FAILED. I take the vehicle for an oil change and find that the engine is failing, including an engine oil leak, coolant system failing. While trying to establish the validity of the warranty and find a good shop for the repairs the car has shut off in traffic twice, continues to run hot and the breaks are going out already. I have spent $600 on a rental car. I have reached out to San Leandro several times and spoke with Boris. The last of which he offered a discount on the rental which still totaled $600 for how long I will need the rental. I asked explicitly to speak with a Regional Manager about surrendering the vehicle and submitted an online complaint more than three weeks ago and no one is responding. I have also filed a complaint with BBB. And by the list of other complaints I'm not the first person sold a vehicle that they claim has been through a rigorous "certification" and inspection and the ENGINE is failing months later.

I clearly informed them that I was already approved with Westlake Bank and specifically asked that my application be submitted only to that lender. They ignored my request and ran my credit with multiple banks anyway. This appears unethical and self-serving, potentially to maximize their profit at the expense of my credit score, without proper authorization. On top of that, the salesperson was completely uneducated about the vehicle. He couldn't answer basic questions, and the test drive was the worst I've ever experienced--unorganized, unprofessional, and rushed. Overall, this was the worst customer service experience I've had at any dealership. There are plenty of dealerships in California that respect their customers' time, privacy, and credit. Please be careful and avoid this place.
