Inconspicuous. Walk in and it looks like a little market but if you turn left you'll see the restaurant. The food was fantastic! I've been on a menudo kick and this is my favorite so far. My husband got the quesadilla and he said it's the best tasting he's had too. We're from San Antonio and that's the flavor of Mexican food we're accustomed to. read more

This place was a decent size, full Mexican market with a serviceable deli. The place was empty, so I couldn't see any plates and the pricing was missing from the photo's so I didn't waste any time with it. They had a small selection of salsa, and I bought a spicy one to see if they bring the heat. The salsa had a kick and would make a better taco topping than chip dip, but I'll power through it. I was priced right and tasty, just not life changing. Respectable place, but the slow business speaks for itself. I'd love to see them offer more marinaded meats and salsa and side selections. The best taqueria's stand out and this place was no better or no worse than any Mexi mart I've been to. read more

Butcher, small grocery and taqueria located in Fife, not too far from I5. Building and areas look clean. Staff is friendly, and seem to know regulars. Definitely felt welcomed. Food smells and tastes great. read more

Cool little Mexican market. In the back is a great little food spot. The coom gave us a sample of their warm chicharron con carne, super good... Crispy skin and meat with fat that melts like butter in your mouth. I ordered a carnitas torta. Again, very good. Bread was soft and the carnitas was juicy was and crispy. Awesome flavor. Good food here and it's awesome to support these small businesses. read more

I wish I could give it 4 stars so I'll go again and post an update. I ordered tacos from here and they said it would take 20 mins max which wasn't too bad. I chose this place because it was a 10 min walk from where I live so points for convenience. By the time we got there everything was ready to go. They do speak English and Spanish so that's a plus because I know some Mexican places don't and there is a language barrier. For me it wouldn't be an issue either way but for other people who may come here it is good to know. I got a Jamaica and three tacos: asada, pollo, & chorizo. The Jamaica is a hibiscus tea drink and it was pretty good it just needed more sugar. I asked and they said their drinks were homemade and you can tell based on taste. It's good when places choose to make their drinks instead of using the powder mix. My husband got the horchata and I tasted that as well, it was pretty good. The tacos were just nothing special and that's the reason for my three stars. They only use a single corn tortilla. The chorizo had good flavor, the asada I couldn't tell that it was asada? Texture wise it seemed like ground beef so I'm not sure about that one. And the chicken had the least amount of flavor. They seem to just cut up their chicken into small cubes and "season" them with the Goya packets for color. The taco overall just lacked flavor. Overall, not a terrible place for tacos but not the best either. read more

Sweet place very nice lady's working there. Cook up your food fresh if you get Fajitas. They get the meat from there butcher counter and bring it to the kitchen. Older looking but very clean and they use all the correct hygiene and cooking methods. The pork burrito was really good and huge. I will stop by anytime I am in Fife. I wish I could buy some meat as the flank steak (flap meat) looks good. Full store as well to get your snacks. read more

this place rocks. they sell raw but ready-to-cook fajita meat back in their refrigerated area, chicken or steak, $5 per pound and it includes onions and peppers and marinade and spices, etc. cheap! and delicious! their little taco-bar area in the back sells street tacos and tamales and rice/beans other various to-order items, hot and ready to go :) also in the store are a variety of loose spices, salsas, tortillas and other interesting finds. i love this place, i never would have even looked twice at this place all the past times i drove past as i thought it was just some random convenience store, but i am so glad that one day i chose to wander in!!! i am telling you people - try their fajita meat :) read more

Unexpected little gem. Came in off the highway to go to the Dairy Queen right across the street but thought this might be more interesting. I had the carnitas tacos and they were super yummy. The ladies behind the counter making the food were also really nice. read more

I live in Seattle and have a weekly meeting in Olympia. Started stopping here for lunch on my way back and keep on coming back. Love the quesadillas,both chicken and chorizo. I've started buying marinated meat and chorizo to take home for dinner. Excellent. read more
