This is a very dirty wash house. Yuck! Thank you god I only had to dry. Went here because it was only one open. It looks like no one cleans here. The dryers don't work. 5 out of 14 work. Please don't go here!!!!

All five now broken but I used the middle one to wash one load.

I needed to catch up on laundry because the dryer was on the blink. So I came here because most of the other laundry mats are usually packed. The cheapest washer is $1.75. However, because all but one of their top loaders are out of order I had to use the $3.00, $5.75 and the last top loader. At first I thought this was just a coincidence that almost all their cheapest machines were broken. However, when I finished drying and the employee had been through and collected all the quarters and left I noticed that now all the top loaders were now "Out of order". As far as I know nobody used the one good one after me. Now it makes me think it's more by design. They have newer washers and dryers that work really well but that's a BS way to make people use them. The difference in price between the top loaders that were broke and the next up front loader is $1.25.

If I could give this place zero stars that still would ve to much, the $5.75 machines takes your money and doesn't give it back, so you end up spending double of what it cost. When the washer was finished I literally had to wrong the water out of my clothing, the guy who works there cleaning didn't have money to reimburse me, and he saw me writing the water out of my 5 loads of clothing. It took quadruple the amount of money to dry my clothes because they were still soaking wet. I spent a few hours there for something that should've took half the time. Disgusting piece of crap place, crackhead hanging out there. This place has gone down hill and I want my $40 back because I got fed up and just took my clothing damp

You want clean? This is the closest place to me.

They are very much on the expensive side and if you're not technologically savvy you might want to…read moreavoid (they use a phone app for the machines). But all in all a good experience. I don't go to laundromats often - just for my oversized blankets - but this one was clean and tidy and felt safe.

Stopped going to the laundromat on Solano Ave in Albany to try to find a better spot. Started going…read moreto Spincycle in El Cerrito Plaza - they are always ridiculously busy and the floor is always dirty. Today while waiting at Spincycle for one of the 3 larger machines, I just decided to get back in my car and drove to TubTown. I was actually pretty excited because I'd read the reviews prior to coming today. When I first pulled up, there was constant shouting. I got out of my car - it's coming from some Evangelical preacher or something across the street who has a bullhorn. Annoying af and it's been going on now for like an hour. But not the laundromat's fault. Now for my actual laundromat experience: There were about ten people here on a Wednesday around noon - not crazy busy and there an ample amount of machines available. Machines smelled clean and the floor is a little run down but not in a way that makes you feel gross. The worker here mopped the floor while I was there, which I appreciate. Average laundry prices - a bit pricey but it's worth it for the machine availability. Spincycle machine for $11 can accommodate more than the $11 machine here (warm water), but you always have to wait for that big one at spin cycle. It was my first time here and getting my wash started was a bit frustrating. I asked the worker and he told me I could buy a card for $2.50 and load it or download the app for now fee. I downloaded the app and spent way too long trying to unsuccessfully connect it. I finally asked the worker for assistance and he tried multiple times but couldn't get it to work either and said maybe it's my phone. I've never had issues with my phone before but what could I really do at this point other than buy a card? So I bought a card - $2.50 for the card plus a THREE DOLLAR FEE to load the card using your credit card!!! I opted for the $100 loading option in order to get a $20 bonus, so after paying the $105.50, I had a balance of $117 to use on my card. I can't believe every time I reload by card it will be an extra $3 fee! Once I finally started my wash with the card, I was wondering when I would be told to "add bleach" as the machine indicates you should add it when it displays. I asked the worker how long into the cycle it normally takes before you are instructed to add the bleach. He seemed like he was a little annoyed but trying hard to hide it and be nice - which I personally think is still good customer service lol because you can't really help feeling annoyed but you're making an effort to hide it. Anyway, he was like "you can add the bleach before you start the machine" and I was like "well why does it say wait to add the bleach until it displays"? Anyway, we walked back over to the machine I was using and the machine was now displaying the message "add bleach" - about 3 minutes into the wash cycle, if anyone is wondering. 4 stars for facilities/machines/cleanliness. 1 star for app not working and laundry card fees - & that's a pretty big deal for me. So I'll give an avg based on that, but it would be more a 3.75 for me
