During the disassembly, Scott discovered previous damage that had never been reported and had actually been glued together. Instead of overlooking it, he worked with my insurance company to make sure the car was repaired the right way. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Ace's had me in a rental car the same day I reported the claim, and about a week and a half later my car was ready. I honestly think it looks better than when I bought it. The paint is flawless, the headlights are crystal clear, the alignment is perfect, and the overall finish makes it feel like a brand-new car. They spent over an hour installing the side passenger window on our Lexus SC430 and made sure there was no broken glass in the mechanism or ANYWHERE! Oh no!…read more Contacting several glass shops on Yelp led me to JD Auto Glass, who gave me the best estimate and offered to come to my home to fix it the next day. David showed up on time, but knew at a glance that he wouldn't be able to fix the crack cleanly, as someone had already tried to do so, but had botched the job. Instead of trying to fake it, or upsell me on an immediate replacement of the whole windshield, he advised that, since it was small and out of the driver's line of sight, I should just wait to see if it got worse before taking further action. He then left without charging anything and later sent a quote for a full windshield replacement, should it become necessary. That kind of integrity goes a long way with me, so JD Auto Glass will be my first call when and if I do need that new windshield.

Was impressed how much this location kept reminding me of my appointment. Arrived a few minutes early. Wendy greeted me and wslked me to my car to examine the crack. I dud send them a picture ahead of time, but they need to make sure it hadn't grown. I was there less than 30 minutes and tge crack was repaired. You have to know what you are looking for to even see where the crack had been. My car insurance covered 100% of the repair.

When the technician arrived, the mirror looked different from the original but I questioned both the technician and the business assured me it was the original part. Later, I found out it was actually a cheap aftermarket mirror. To make matters worse, after the installation the technician told me the repair would only be temporary because part of the mirror wasn't being held properly. This was never mentioned before the work was done, and I had not noticed any issue like that beforehand. If a repair is only temporary or requires a different part than promised, that should be clearly explained before charging the customer. I contacted the business afterward to explain the situation. I even told them I was willing to send pictures if they needed them. They told me they would speak with the technician and get back to me. Later they said they had received pictures from the technician, but after that they stopped responding entirely. I wasn't even able to send any more messages, so it honestly feels like they may have blocked me. It's a very unfortunate situation because both the business (screenshots attached) and the technician assured me the mirror was original, yet it clearly wasn't. I will say the free mobile service initially sounded convenient, but in the end it just felt like a way to do a quick job and leave without addressing the real issues.
