Visited on July 24, 2026 I've been coming here for months now, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience. A huge shoutout to Shafa and Adan! Their energy is amazing, and they make every visit enjoyable. It was easily one of the best coffee shop experiences I've ever had. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and always have great recommendations. The coffee is absolutely delicious. It gives me all the energy I need and definitely gets me going, if you know what I mean! My favorite is the one with a little bit of ginger in it--it was recommended by the staff, and I'm so glad they suggested it. They've also recommended some of the sweets, and every single one has been fantastic. The team really knows their menu and consistently points me in the right direction. this location is much smaller compared to the one on Mission Blvd. the food and coffee are the same, still really good. the Yemeni latte is my go to drink and the Rose milk cake is always to die for. the place is quite small but the location is really good. the service can be a little bit faster. there was a line when I came and it took them some time to get my order out. maybe they are still on training because they just opened. but will definitely come back. read more

Shafa & marwa were great!! My mom and I stopped after a workout to give it a try and the space is beautiful! They have plenty of options and very unique ones as well! I'd give it a try if you want a new spot to fall in love with! And it also looks like a good space for studying or even just some down time while you enjoy your drink and snack! First time trying this cafe and it was really good. I was helped out by the wonderful employees at the time which were Shafa, Minerva, and Maryam. The Mango Smoothie was delicious and the Yemeni Latte was great as well! The cafe was really clean when I got there and it was pretty hot today so the AC was on and keeping the cafe nice and cool. The places is nice and looks like many of the other Yenini coffee shops and similar selection. I got the Adeni chai there yesterday and asked for light sugar. It was so gross and had no flavor. It tasted nothing like Adeni chai! I wonder if the barista messed up since this place is still new. I literally drank two sips and then threw it away at work. Rounding up to 3 star because I would like to see this shop improve. My daughter did have a good experience there when she went last week, so maybe it was just me. I may try another drink after it has been open for a while, since it is close to work. read more

I've been a frequent customer of Sana'a Cafe and have visited multiple locations on a regular basis, which is why this experience was disappointing. I recently placed a mobile order through the app and didn't realize it had defaulted to a different Sana'a Cafe location that I had previously visited. As soon as I noticed, I called the store within seconds of placing the order to see if anything could be done. What frustrated me wasn't the mistake itself, but the inconsistent explanations I received. I was initially told that the order had already been made. When I questioned how that could be possible given that only a few seconds had passed, I was then told that the order wasn't actually made yet, but was "being made" and therefore could not be canceled or adjusted. Another factor was that I was already seated at a different Sana'a Cafe location when I realized the app had sent the order to a location I had previously visited. I explained during the call that I was already seated at another Sana'a Cafe across town (Mission), roughly 25-30 minutes away from the location that received the order. The staff was aware that I was not near the location where the order had been sent, which is why I was hoping some type of accommodation could be made. I understand that mobile ordering policies exist, and I recognize that the order was ultimately submitted through the app. However, as a frequent customer, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and the conflicting information I was given. Even a small gesture such as store credit or an offer to make it right on a future visit would have gone a long way. The $8 wasn't really the issue. The issue was the customer service and how the situation was handled. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration because I genuinely enjoy Sana'a Cafe and would like to continue supporting the business. read more

I'm a regular at the mission location but noticed the pistachio was available at the whipple location. Got excited for a quick minute... until I drank and ate.... Big difference between the mission and this location. Pistachio latte tasted like warm milk. The customer in front already asked to put more pistachio and I think she was disappointed too. Sad day. Gotta finish it though since everything costs a lot these days. I went at 0745 7/4. The honeycomb tasted frozen and the Biscoff croissant tasted like it was frozen then thawed? Waited for this shop to open for a few months and it's finally here! First impressions - staff is nice and helpful, interior was done beautifully! I like getting a cheese fatyer and yemeni latte. Perfectly toasted and not too sweet. Got into a funny convo with the staff and walked out with another free drink. Looks like it'll be my newest coffee spot - they close at midnight too. I came with my girlfriend to order a drink last night and there was this girl with a scarf on who was working and she was very passive aggressive. She got my drink wrong and looked like she didn't know what she was doing. The other co-worker was very nice, but the girl did not seem professional. The drinks tasted awful. I have frequented this cafe multiple times and the coffee is better than any other that I've had in other places! The interior design and exterior landscaping of this cafe is exceptional! Wow! I was really excited to try this cafe and it was better than I imagined! I got a piece of mango cake and an iced pistachio latte. The cake was amazing, not too sweet but packed with flavor. I loved that the latte was very coffee forward with delicious espresso and had a bit of that pistachio sweetness to it. Service was amazing. I would 100% recommend giving this place a try. read more

A very nice replacement for the Starbucks that was here. There's an interesting selection of lattes. I got the Biscoff latte today and loved it, and my friend shared her Biscoff cheesecake with the table. It was great. Their selection of cheesecakes and pastries is amazing!
