Yemeni cafés popping up everywhere; not just in my city, they're throughout the Bay Area and other big cities and some states throughout the US. Many Delahs, many Haraz, and Sana'a. They're all similar yemeni cafés! I'll be waiting for its new addition at the acute corner to open up. For now, I'm enjoying what Sana'a Café is having, Adeni Chai and any sweet treat. Be sure to check out their enchanted interior decorations that are pictured below.

I originally gave this a 5 star but now coming back to change it two hour later as I have a stomach ache from the chai tea I got here. I haven't had anything else new today. Been to the bathroom 3 times and have a stomach ache. Must be something wrong with the evaporated milk in the chai? I really wanted to like this please. Perhaps still working out the newness of it. Ugh I want to give a new place a chance so leaving 3 stars. Normally this is a one star experience for an established place. I think they intended well just have some quality control issues perhaps. ------- First time here. Love the ambience. Ordered chai and they didn't charge me for changing it to almond milk. Rare for a cafe. Will try their pistachio rose croissant. Love the seating too.

Finally tried out Sana'a Cafe now that a location opened near my work. Pros: Quality Chai: It's strong and flavorful (not made with those fake, overly sweet syrups). It comes out piping hot! The Atmosphere: The cafe is beautifully decorated, bright, and very comfortable. Kiosk Ordering: I wouldn't customize my milk preferences. A few tips: It gets busy: They have plenty of seating, but it packs out quickly during the morning rush. The Pastries: I didn't grab one this trip, but they have a massive selection that looks delicious. I'll definitely be back to try them soon

Well executed coffee and dessert chain. 17 Locations as of 8/1/26. Middle Eastern Ambiance. Very cool spot if you're looking for somwthing unique and different. Ballsy location right by another Starbucks and I love that about the place :-) Electronic menu/ordering or in person. Place was popping when I visited, but the wait was not long. Excellent product and experience!

Sanaa Cafe on Drumm Street is simply enchanting. The decor looks like it came from a page of a children's picture book. I came here on Friday after the morning crush and there are tables aplenty. I am new to Yemeni cafes so everything is a bit overwhelming to me. I ordered a small adeni chai, a beef roll and a pistachio milk cake. Sat at a nice table along the wall. The very sweet lady who took my order also brought my food to me, neatly presented in a gorgeous tray. She also warned me that the chai is very hot. Everything tasted fine. The ambiance and the hospitality will bring me back for sure.

    Yemeni Latte and Honeycomb

I came to Sana'a Cafe right after they opened this morning, and I was impressed the moment I walked in. The place is absolutely beautiful...warm, inviting, and thoughtfully decorated. It has such a peaceful atmosphere... It was my first time trying a Yemeni latte and honeycomb bread, and both were amazing! The latte was smooth, rich, and wonderfully aromatic, and the honeycomb bread was soft, warm, and delicious. They paired perfectly together. Such a lovely experience and a wonderful way to start my morning. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their Yemeni coffee and pastries. Highly recommend!

Delicious Yemen coffee, nicely prepared. Tasty little deserts and the Hibiscus tea was very flavorful. Enjoyed the middle Eastern vibe and music. Kind and friendly staff.

I ordered the biscoff cheesecake, oreo cheesecake, biscoff latte, and biscoff Danish. I did not eat everything in one sitting. But everything was delicious and not to sweet. I will be go back to try other items. The service was amazing. The staff was super nice, friendly, helpful and attentive. They are willing to answer any questions even with a line. They treat everyone the same. It almost feels like your family. The ambiance was beautiful and I loved the music playing in the background.

Wonderful experience all around! We tried the Yemeni latte, chocolate croissant, and almond croissant. Came for the coffee and stayed for the vibes.

Delicious desserts paired with an espresso! The very nice lady recommended balancing the sweetness of the desserts with coffee with no sugar.

    Iced dirty chai latte

I'm not being dramatic when I say this was the worst drinking I've ever gotten. First when I came in the worker didn't acknowledge me, she continued her conversation with her coworker then when she finally came to the register she was not friendly just waited for me to order. It was very clear I couldn't see the menu because it was far on the wall and I apologized and said "sorry I can't see" but she just kept looking at me didn't offer to assist in any way. So I just ordered a dirty chai latte... worst mistake. It tasted like water that came out of a dirty espresso machine. No chai flavor AT ALL. Just straight up nasty water. I didn't want to bother going back and forth with her so I just threw it away once I went outside. I normally don't leave yelp reviews but this was terrible I needed to share. Other than all that the inside is very pretty and clean and their baked goods looked very presentable

Great drinks. Loved the chai. They need someone manning the register though. Takes too long to place an order.

DO NOT PAY FOR DELIVERY…read more We paid extra to have our order delivered to our hotel and used the restaurant's order-ahead option. We scheduled the delivery for 9:20 a.m., but by 8:40 a.m. the app showed it had already been delivered. The problem? There was no food at our hotel room. I tried contacting the delivery driver by text, but never received a response. It was incredibly frustrating, especially after leaving a generous tip. We later found out the driver had left the food at the hotel but never told the front desk which room it was for, even though they had all of the delivery information. As a result, our food just sat there until we eventually had to go down and get it ourselves. In the end, I paid for a delivery service that I never actually received. Instead of enjoying the convenience we paid for, we had to track down our own order. Based on this experience, I would not recommend paying for delivery. If you're ordering from this restaurant, save your money and pick it up yourself. I paid for a service, but I did not receive what I paid for. Then to make it worse the breakfast sandwich was just OK. Nothing to write home to mom about. To say the least we will not be ordering her again and would not recommend this restaurant.

There was a lot of natural light in the coffee shop, definitely a visually-appealing, 'aesthetic' place. I got an iced red tea and it was delicious. The tea was botanical, smooth and fragrant. It seems like there's also an upstairs but did not get the chance to check it out. I got an iced latte with their almond macadamia milk, and they're also so nice to do complimentary cold brew! So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

Also tried the kopi ginger. The ginger adds a little kick to the coffee, but its not too bitter since there is palm sugar added to the coffee. I asked to reduce the sugar and they were able to do so. Staff is super friendly and willing to provide recommendations if you have a hard time deciding. Will be coming back to this place to try the other drinks and food options.

Good price for the amount of food/drinks you get - I usually cannot finish the iced drinks entirely on my own! Cannot go wrong with any of the drinks - they use lactose-free milk for all drinks, but do have non-dairy milk alternatives available as well. The kopi pandan is my favorite bc the espresso and pandan is well-balanced. The pandan matcha is more pandan than matcha if you want something sweeter. Same goes for their pastries and savory items. My favorite so far is the lempers bc it's especially reminiscent of a lot of SEA dishes I grew up eating - a good combo of sweet and savory, the flavoring is very authentic.
