Everything about this drink could be described with one word - subtle. The matcha flavor was subtle, wish it was stronger to make the drink have more of a personality. The banana cream flavor was subtle, again same as matcha, wish the flavor really came through to give the drink its personality. The sweetness was subtle which I really enjoyed, not overpowering. Another great spot for a coffee break with coworkers! Although it's a small location, there's decent seating indoors, and some outdoor seating, with cozy decor. It can get really packed in the mornings and might be a little loud so I don't think I'd come here to do any work. Friendly and speedy service, which is much appreciated. The kiosk makes ordering much faster. I got my classic order (Cappuchino) which has been consistently enjoyable. Their flat white and matcha latte are also solid choices. My coworkers tried the iced Banana Cream Matcha with oat milk - they liked it and enjoyed the creaminess but noted that the banana flavor was a bit overpowering so there was less of a matcha taste. I'm usually a positive yelper but I have to be honest. One of the worst avocado toasts I've ever had, and I've had A LOT. I got the salmon one and it felt like it was made by a child. The toast wasn't toasted. Why call it avocado toast if you aren't going to toast the bread? Then topped with some shmear (or whatever white cream cheese top) and some measly salmon. That's it, maybe a dash of salt & pep? Honestly a sprinkling of dill would go a long way. Since parking is shit and I was starving I didn't attempt to go back inside but I'm still salty about this experience overall. $18 for something that cost them probably $3 overhead. I've been dying to try their springtime matcha flavors, so I stopped in to try out the strawberry cheesecake matcha (with oatmilk). As a tip, make sure you stir it or else you get a big sip of strawberry syrup. The matcha was good, a little sweet so if you like more earth matchas it might not be for you. Allergy-central should be the name of this place. There are no alternatives on the kiosk should you want to swap let's say Almond Milk for Oat Milk and probably vice versa. There are substitutes on the kiosk or the menu should you be allergic to these options. And you wait for staff and there's no one there (I'm not sure if you can order without the kiosk) because they're all in the kitchen unless they come out with an order. Because there is a Kiosk.. my co-worker kept pronouncing Bondi incorrectly because the staff can't pronounce Bondi (or at least the day I went). As someone has family in Australia.. - it's criminal; I didn't realize what my co-worker was trying to say until I got here. The place is beautiful to the eye - they kind of got that right. But, the place is not a vibe with this menu and if you work an 'Aussie' inspired place.. She was raving about this smoothie that she gets here: Bondi Blue Smoothie by REEF A tropical smoothie inspired by the Aussie coast. In partnership with REEF this smoothie is a blend of banana, mango puree, almond milk, blueberries, vegan cream, protein powder and blue spirulina. ^^^ I did try it, I yolo'd it. It was pretty good and it broke me out skin wise and almond milk has never done that to me before. I will not be back - can't have anything on their drink menu. Been wanting to try this place since it's always so crowded in the AM. I decided to pop by for a quick takeaway order otw to the office, which was def. the perf. time since it was quiet and had no line. Since it was always so crowded, I did come in with high expectations...which is usually how I set myself up in the end (lol) Since it was a little later than my usual coffee time, I opted for an iced matcha and got a salmon toast + poached egg, to go. The iced matcha latte was okay for me, much too milky for my taste and style overall, & the matcha flavor was too light. The salmon toast was meh, and def. not worth the $$. Adding a poached egg was already a few dollars xtra, while the price for the salmon and toast portion was very underwhelming. Overall, flavor was also a bit too tart and drowned with their sauce (something like an olive oil) - which ultimately also got the bread very soggy. Sadly, the bread itself was also very basic and a bit more thin than I'd imagine. Overall, likely wouldn't return with a few other cafes around here that just hits better, at least in either food or drinks. read more

went in to order a cup of coffee. On the menu I saw cappuccino so I asked the guy for a cup of cappuccino. Also, I ordered a small sandwich with small is not the word for this more of a rip off. I HAVE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE. First of all, that is a bunch of CRAP no place does that. The merchant is supposed to let you know there's additional charges for additional items that you wanted, it's up to you to say and let them know yes or no. Not just check it on the bill without the customer, knowing. Among the other item was he charged for 3 small packs of substitute sugar, almond milk, which is probably a couple of drops, heating up here's a good one, stirring it before they gave it to me. One of my coworkers did a quick Yelp search for some solid coffee near our hotel and Bluestone fit everything they were looking for. I needed a quick pick me up after a morning of travelling and I ended up ordering a cold brew. They have a digital kiosk, or you can order with the people at the counter. They let me add my own milk to my cold brew so I could get the perfect "splash" of cream I was looking for. The coffee tasted great and was just the boost I needed for the rest of the day. They do have some tables if you're looking to stay in for a while or meet up with someone and the staff was friendly. They also have a cold case with some options that are quick to grab and go if you're in a rush. read more

Great coffee and breakfast/pastry in FiDi. I got Avocado Toast with the Lot and Kouign Amann since I'm on the hunt for hồ Kouign Amann in SF. The avocado toast was great with lot, might be a bit more salty than how I'd like it to be. They also have the option to add egg with it if you want to. Kouign Amann was great, really flaky and light, not too sweet. They also have a good selection of smoothie so there you go if you want something healthy. When I went there, they said everything will be packed for to go even though you dine in so please keep that in mind. read more

I like their Iced Chocolate, Chai and Red Beet Latte. If you were wondering what the Magic drink on the menu is, it's similar to a Gilbraltar. The bambicinno is a small baby shot of mocha and steamed milk without espresso (good for kids). There's a nice ambiance with comfy couch seatings and small tables for two. You can find people working on their laptops and even conducting interviews here. Lots of people who work in the FiDi just stop by here for grab and go coffee. Alright for being a cafe in SF, they had a pretty nice inside space, that was next to I think a bar, which together has tons of seating. I think there was even an event or rental space for events in the back. Of course it is still the pandemic so the seating was limited. They were severely short staffed, one guy kept going from the front to the back saying he was helping in the back with food, which was weird, and I felt like he was alone. On the bright side, their order is done fully online, including an online menu, so you don't have to worry about waiting on someone to take your order. But that does mean it is online payment (or card only) since you have to pay through the online platform. They have their full menu online, include cafe food like avocado toast and coffees, they were low on their pastries, but I did include a photo of the few options they did have. The coffee itself was a cortado, but I think their menu called it the piccolo. The milk was smooth and I was overall happy with my drink, but their coffee was very caramely and pleasant. When I ordered it as a "lavender vanilla oat latte" I was rudely met with "those are separate flavors" yep, I have enough of a brain to know that those are 2 different flavors and I'd like to put both of them in my coffee. The rest of the interaction with myself and my coworker were just rude and dismissive. Anyways, just not my favorite experience at a coffee shop. If you're looking for warm, inviting vibes, look elsewhere.
