We stopped by for coffee, and it was a great experience. I ordered the Blue Bottle Americano, my husband ordered the Matcha tea, and we also got a pastry. Everything was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. I think their prices are very reasonable for such excellent coffee. I would honestly say it's way better than Starbucks. I'll gladly spend my money there anytime!

Stopped by this Blue Bottle FiDi location to check out their pastry selection! Service was quick and there was barely any line on a Saturday afternoon. A few people were inside enjoying their drinks, but it definitely feels like a spot that gets busier on weekdays. Since we already had our morning caffeine fix, we decided to try a bit of everything from the pastry case. - Everything Pull-Apart Croissant -- savory, knotted shape, coated in everything seasoning; unique and easily my favorite of the bunch - Chocolate Croissant (Pain au Chocolat) -- classic laminated pastry with visible chocolate seams; you can never go wrong with this one - Seasonal Scone -- triangular with a crunchy sugar crust; cranberry-flavored during our visit - Ginger Molasses Cookie -- soft and chewy with a crackly, sugar-coated top; great texture and warmth - Cheddar Jalapeño Biscuit -- rectangular, lightly golden with visible herbs and peppers; savory, flavorful, and a surprising standout Overall, a convenient Blue Bottle location near Nob Hill and FiDi, right on Sansome Street with plenty of local SF eateries around. Always love the clean, minimalist Blue Bottle aesthetic!

Not my favorite visit, for a couple of reasons. they don't offer as many flavor options for lattes, and the time it takes is too long. I became increasingly frustrated with the amount of time my simple coffee took, and the way they received and served orders I got a cappuccino and it took 10 minutes longer than my friend who ordered a more complicated drink behind me. I would not return when there are other coffee options near by

The coffee at Blue Bottle is always good but this location was a bit cold. I love a pour over coffee but when the person at the register is also responsible for pour overs it was pretty clear that was going to take a while so I ended up with a Latte. I would have prefered a standard drip but they didn't have any ready. The Latte was fine (great Latte art!) but I tend to go to place like Blue Bottle for a quality bean that doesn't need to be masked with steamed milk. The layout of this location was also odd but I guess fine if you're going to work at a high top.

I'm always on the lookout for great hot chocolate around FiDi since coffee isn't my thing, and Blue Bottle delivered! I decided to give it a try with a gift card I received, and it was a fantastic experience from the moment I walked in. I was warmly greeted, and the staff were friendly, professional, and super helpful. My hot chocolate came out quickly, just as I ordered--extra hot--and it was absolutely delicious. Creamy, chocolatey, and perfectly balanced, it hit all the right notes. The place was buzzing, which seems to be the norm, but the vibe was great, and there were plenty of seating options if you time it right. For FiDi workers or anyone passing through, this spot is definitely worth a visit--even for us non-coffee drinkers! Overall, a great experience. Would definitely stop by again!

I have been to this location multiple times whenever I'm in office in FiDi! My team would always do coffee runs because our office was only a five minute walking distance. We usually went in the mornings around 9AM, and there were not that many people waiting in line. I've tried the Iced NOLA which has a strong chicory flavor. It takes me back to the days whenever I would visit French Quarter :) I recently tried the Shakerato which is on the sweeter side but still had good espresso flavor. Even as I sipped my drinks while working, it didn't really taste watered down by the time most of the ice melted, so that's a plus! Overall, I think their drinks are perfect if you like lightly sweet drinks. Their drinks are definitely more coffee forward which I enjoy. Their service was pretty quick, and I would always have my drink ready within 10 minutes. I love the interior because of how modern it is with the wooden layout. There is plenty of seating since most people were coming in and out for their coffee runs. The lighting and scent of coffee always feels so comforting whenever I walk in. Definitely would come again whenever I work in the office!

Something has to change. Two stars for a staff who is trying to make it work, but it wasn't working at 8:30 on a Wednesday. 15-20 minute wait for an espresso. Some mobile orders compete - but not too many. Nobody really orders the over priced mediocre food. I waited twenty minutes for a bland coffee that had quite a few ground in bottom. Likely too chaotic for the staff to be able to keep the espresso machine dialed in. My advice, batch brew or cold brew because it's ready without a wait and likely better. Busy. But you can usually find a seat. There star 2.

And they don't clean anything discussing environment

Crazy expensive and from the taste it's not worth the price! The service is bad they rush us to pay and sneak diss and they kicked my service dog out and the place is surrounded by homeless people harassing you for money

I don't always come to this Blue Bottle because it's in FiDi and it's a bit out of the way nowadays. I do think this is probably one of the nicest looking Blue Bottle locations. The one in Pac Heights is also lovely, but I digress. I usually get the Americano and they do a good one. Service is pretty good here and when I do come in, I like to get a drink and sit by the window and stare outside for a bit. Now that FiDi is kinda a ghost town, it's not as good fun people watching, but I still enjoy it now and then.

I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

We chose this large city location thanks to easy parking and a convenient stop on our drive. It was a beautiful morning, which was easy to enjoy thanks to the high ceilings, big glass windows, and open main door. The first floor has a central counter to order food and drinks; the glass cabinet has a bunch of rotating pastries from a local bakery. They have restrooms and a merchandise area here too. At the front are counter seats along the front window, and also a horseshoe that looks into the roasting area, which is a great place to smell the beans. There's an upstairs loft that overlooks the cafe below, also with a test kitchen area and offices across to the front. They definitely have a larger business going on, and I can see why it's so popular. We ordered a latte, iced coffee, and various pastries to start our day. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Whether you are in the mood for a katsu sando, curry over rice, ochazuke with their matcha twist, or something sweet like the matcha cream pie, it is hard to go wrong here. All of the savory dishes I have tried have been great, but the fish katsu sando is one of my absolute favorites. The huge fish fillets are perfectly fried and flaky, tucked inside pillowy shokupan and topped with tangy yuzu shio koji sauce, tomato spread, and fresh crunchy cabbage. Every component works together beautifully, with richness, brightness, and texture all in balance. The pork katsu curry over rice is another standout. The katsu comes sliced into thick pieces that are still juicy inside, and it is fried expertly so the breading stays attached as you eat it. The curry has a really balanced flavor, even if I would not mind a little more spice, while the pickled radishes provide a nice contrast. I always add an onsen egg (for an additional $2) because breaking the runny yolk and mixing it into the curry adds another layer of velvety richness and creaminess. You can also tell they use high-quality matcha in their drinks, so the beverage menu is really more about choosing what fits your mood that day vs avoiding any bad options. Stonemill Matcha is a great option for a grabbing a drink on the go, a full blown sit down meal, a quick dessert stop or all of the above!
