    Hummus, Eggplant fatayer, and pita

Traveling through Sioux Falls, SD today. So we depended on Yelp! to help us locate someplace with delicious offerings....Sanaa's was the clear winner! The high rating this restaurant has received is very well deserved! Your selected menu items are ordered at the counter and placed on a tray. The cashier and counter staff were extremely helpful and polite. I was interested in the soup of the day, Garbanzo Soup, and the cashier served up a sample to try.....delicious! Daily soup and entree specials are posted. The prices are reasonable. There is a self-service fridge for cold beverages. Cold water and hot water for tea were self-service. There is also a self-service freezer for take home frozen entrees, soups, and sauces located near the cashier. The menu is varied and offers Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. There are meat and chicken options as well. Several homemade desserts were available such as cookies, pistachio Baklava, and cheesecake. The menu offered choices that would please young and older customers. Reminded us of a favorite restaurant, The Mediterranean Deli, in Durham, NC with the physical layout and multiple menu choices. We ordered a Mujudarra, Taboulleh and pita meal. We also got Garbanzo soup with House salad (lettuce, tomato, cuke, bulgur wheat with lemon & olive oil dressing) and pita. We also tried a side of Hummus, an Eggplant fatayer, and pistachio Baklava for dessert and Hot tea to drink. Everything we tried was yummo delicious! We also purchased a solidly frozen Vegan Eggplant Caponata entree, and 3 Vegan soups - Red Lentil, Black bean, Vegetable Bean to have for an easy meal when we have access to an oven There are handicapped parking spots near the ramp leading to the door. There is handicapped access to the front door. There are handicapped accessible bathroom stalls in the restroom. There are no alcoholic beverage options but there are plenty of non-alcoholic beverage to choose from. We enjoyed our meal and have leftovers for dinner. The restaurant hours cover Monday thru Saturday. We wish they were open on Sundays as we're traveling back through the area next Sunday. A great place to enjoy Mediterranean food!

Chicken and rice, hummus, and quinoa salad

Super disappointed in this highly recommended restaurant, which I was told had many gluten free options. I had the only items available, chicken over rice, hummus, and quinoa salad. The rice is tasteless and the chicken is incredibly one note. The hummus is pasty. Only the salad was actually enjoyable. Not at all what i was expecting (what part of the Mediterranean is this from?!) I wouldn't bother returning.

    Lunch Buffet

Came for lunch on a Saturday, lunch buffet was only option available. Approx $15 a person. Restaurant was nearly half full by 11:15. Inside is clean, decor is nice but it is a fast casual type place. Nothing fancy. The food was wonderful. Period. I was surprised to see a best chef nominee in Sioux Falls SD that only serves lunch, but I understand it now. If you want a fancy experience with plated service, wine and cocktails ... this will not suit you. If you want a quick meal that is absolutely incredible for the price, make time and visit Sanaa's.

Near where I work - some of the best hummus I've ever had - and several interesting meat/entree options to go with it.

Luckily, they allow dogs inside! The place has great dive-bar vibes but the tap list and menu punch way above that. The staff was fantastic with out server being really friendly and helpful. Even gave our dog a treat. The beer was great, as expected. Their tap list rotates quickly so looks like there's always something new to try. The food was excellent as well. We just split a casear salad and some fries and left full. The price is great for the quality and amount you get. If I'm every back in SF you know I'll be back to see what's on tap and try some more food.

Our server was very friendly and attentive and gave great service. We had green bean fries as an appetizer. They were excellent. We ordered their Monk's Classic Double burger which was very juicy and amazing. I would definitely order this again. We also had the Alther pizza which was excellent too. The wait time for our food was pretty quick. This place has a fun atmosphere but not too loud. They have 50 beers on tap and you can just order by the number. I'm a dark beer lover so I ordered two different dark beers. The best one was the Drekker Smooth or Die Milk stout with peanut butter and chocolate flavors. It was so good that my wife ordered it for her second drink. They are willing to give you a sample if you aren't sure what to order. This place came highly recommended by our friends and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be going back.

I have been eating here, well ordering to go for some years now. Today is my first time actually…read moresitting down in the restaurant. Now in the past when picking up it's usually just an older lady. She has never been super big on customer service and quite frankly pretty rude. I hate the stereotype that because it's a good Asian restaurant that service is usually not good but the food is good. Just because you know people will come back and eat, so you can treat them however. That's crazy to me... I have eaten at some amazing Asian establishments and have had both outstanding service and food. Anyway, so as I'm sitting here; there's about 6 people in here including me. Not a very big place. Kind of dark and pretty warm in here. Some stuff on the ceiling and Asian decor, grey walls. She comes to take my order and doesn't smile, I have been nothing but nice and smile at her and have manners etc.. But she asked me what I wanted, I say #19 pho beef & tendon.. then she immediately wants to run away. I say wait hold on, I wanted to add some things. What do you want to add she says? I said can I add nuoc beo on the side? She said we don't have that, then I say extra onions and cilantro.. I can't even say anything else before she tries to run away again.. then I said I would like to add spring rolls, but veggie, and I'm thinking that's tofu.. either way she runs away.. I can't even order a drink. I also really wanted to add a side of sliced onions and see if they have any Chinese donuts.. but there's no asking because she is running. Then as she comes back out to bring something to someone else, I basically have to raise my voice to ask for a drink. She brings my Dr. Pepper and spring rolls and it's literally just veggies inside. No tofu. At this point I feel not scared but like she is not approachable at all, intimidating to say the least. Very uncomfortable feeling. I really want to ask for tofu, but I'm just going to leave it alone. I saw a commercial with Vince Danh, running for city council, and I'm so confused how he is on this commercial speaking about this restaurant like it's just the best and meanwhile everyone knows the service is ridiculous. So she brings my food and everything looks good. I had to ask for a side of onions and chopsticks and chili oil. She seemed annoyed I had to ask. She brought them and I started eating. Everything was good. Now I don't want to go as far as saying racist, but I did notice how she was towards other people in here who weren't my color. I'm a lot of things but I definitely have darker skin than anyone in here. I have noticed some peoples experience may be the same who have non white skin. Anyway, I won't be coming back to sit and eat. I mean over the phone she's rude too and just wants to rush. I might order to pick up in the future, but this experience has turned me off completely. And I love Pho so much. I will just eat at Pho Thai.. I understand people have had hard lives and I have sympathy for them, but also regardless of the life you lived, you have to treat everyone with kindness. A smile goes a long way...normally....but maybe just not here.

The food was DELICIOUS. The service, it was fine. The little old lady said to sit anywhere. She…read morebrought us our waters & silverware right away. We knew what we wanted (menu online) & she went back to the kitchen to prepare it. We literally ordered a bowl of "soup" so it's not rocket science to need any help with that. We came in at 2:45 so we had the whole place to ourselves, we were out by 3:15. It only took maybe 3 min to get our food. And for 2 people it cost like $25. So to me, that's better than any ol' burger joint you can hit up. Plus, we have a whole other meal's worth of leftovers. 100% would go back anytime. Was it the cleanest place? Maybe not - but neither is my granny's kitchen - so take what you want outta that. It was homey.
