For an out of the way sports bar the food is superb. The chicken wings are incredibly delicious. Always get the 20 wings so I'm able to take half home. I've also had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and the French dip sandwhich, both excellent. The service is always top notch. They now are open for breakfast and I can't wait to try it. I have to say that was absolutely the worst excuse for a Lobster Tail and Filet Mignon I have ever experienced. The Special for the evening. The so called Filet Mignon was not even a Filet Mignon when the menu said it was. That was a mock filet glued together that broke apart on the grill. Both sides of the "Filet" tasted completely different. That is a mock filet. I asked for medium rare and it came back medium well. I guess they cover up the fact that it is a mock filet by "smothering" it with mushrooms and onions. Who would even think about doing that to a real filet mignon? The lobster tail you could bounce off the floor like a rubber ball it was so over cooked. After waiting 45 minutes for my food I started to think there was something wrong. Well they cooked the flavor right out of my food. I normally have a decent experience here. This was very disappointing. I said something to the bartender and he just ignored it. I was also very polite about it. I saw him say something to the manager and then they all just walked away and blew me off. I rarely say something about my food. This was a horrible experience. We have been coming to this restaurant for years. The food is always really good and the drinks have been excellent. We are usually on vacation and in a large party. The team here has always tried to be accommodating to our needs. This Year's experience was just as fantastic! Been coming here for five years now and they never disappoint. Yep it's a dive, hole in the wall blah blah blah the place is loud, old, hard to find, full of locals and I love it! My go to meal is the fish sandwich blackened, served a a nice fresh bun with onions, lettuce, and tomato, fish comes with fries, cole slaw and all the pickles you can eat. Large portion sizes and delicious fried shrimp! The atmosphere is great and there are even arcade games in the back for the kids! If anything, this restaurant is a bit noisy. All of the TVs have captions on, so the noise didn't really effect me. Definitely stop by here for some seafood. read more

It's 5 o'clock somewhere. This bar is a hidden gem! Tee-Shirt, Short and Flip Flops and you will feel at home. Very good service with a smile and bartenders that will talk to you - unless they are very busy which is often the case. Our server checked on us often and made sure we were OK. They all split tips so it's a team tackle. The servers will swarm you and it's common for a different server to ask you if you need anything, which is very nice. They have a BIG variety of draft beer and a TUB of bottled beer on ice. All of this waiting for the 2 happy hours they have each day from 3 to 6pm and 10 to 12pm. During the happy hours they have domestic bottled beer for $2 bucks and $1 drafts. This combined with a great happy hour menu rocks Marco Island and places them as the best happy hour on the Island. Really, when can you get oyster .60 and claims .40 at happy hour. How can you pass up a choice of 3 cheeseburgers, pulled pork or sloppy joe sliders for $2.50. C'mon I eat and drank for hours and my bill was $20 bucks. The place is diverse in terms of customers. A mix of locals (fisherman, captains and regulars) combined with families and tourist that have found the place (which is not easy). It's placed behind the Walker Marina and you may miss it as you dream about the boat you can't afford. That's what happened to me anyway. Sunday's during football season requires you to arrive early to get a spot in front of the 30 or so flat screen TV's . This BAR is packed with the Steelers Nation faithful so be ready to endure the Here we go Steelers chants from the crowd. Enjoy the grouper sandwich, local claim it's the best on the Island. Oysters were OK but not as good as the servers T-shirts with Shuck it, Suck it and Eat it Raw on the back. I'm a BIG fan and spend time at the Sand Bar when ever I get to Marco. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is an absolute armpit. First of all, it seems they are selling disrespectful/homophobic merch... not cool and definitely very hostile if you're not a bland piece of white bread. Further, we went on a karaoke night and were ready to have fun, despite the grimy atmosphere. Upon first asking for our spot on the queue, we were told we were after one more group. At least three groups later, we went up again to make sure they didn't forget about us, to which they said again we would be after the next group. Once more, we waited for about three more groups to go and for us to be ignored further. So, we went up once more to see what was up with this. The host said there were like five groups in front of us again, so my friend who has been going up there asked if it was because she was Asian. The man said yes. I have had plenty of uncomfortable experiences in bars, but this one was by far the worst, most hurtful, and most outrageous. Do better, especially if you're a business who wants to actually serve a spring break crowd, or any crowd for that matter. Will absolutely not be returning and will be telling others to avoid this place at all costs. read more

This place is fantastic. It's definitely a dive bar that is frequented by locals so you know it's going to have good food. The food was phenomenal! I had the blackened fish platter with pasta salad. The fish was a huge filet of a white fish called basa (sp?) and it was so good. Not fishy whatsoever and the blackening seasonings were yummy. The pasta salad was just as tasty and the portion was, again, huge. Then for desert I had a slice of key lime pie that was definitely the best slice of key lime pie I've ever tasted! It was not from a box or store it had that great homemade flavor and the crust was soooo good! I hope I can make it back before I leave marco island! :) read more

Absolutely filthy restrooms. I've seen better at gas stations. Scared me to think what their kitchen looks like, so I stuck to a liquid diet (in spite of my hunger). My husband ate a bleu cheese burger and said it was "just okay." I believe our server was new, so I'll give her some slack. She was friendly enough, and she did help us by changing the TV near us to our game. But she would immediately run away before we even finished a sentence. Example: Server: "Can I get you a drink?" Me: "Yes, we would like a bucket of bud lights and...." Her: "OK!" *scurries away* Me: *to myself* "And and 2 waters, and juice for the little one, and an appetizer, and more napkins,..." We went here 2X while on vacation. Great service both times. These people are real friendly. The food was great both times. We had the fish and chips, wedge salads and pork chops.
