I've been going here for a few years now and everything has been fine up until recently. I had a balance on July 7th 2020 with the girl I normally go to. I get the same thing a longer length and just a gel color. Looked at my nails a few days after the appt noticed the sides of my acrylic seemed unattached and by that I mean she drilled the sides entirely to much and essentially left the sides exposed and open. So I call and get fit in that day at 3:45 I believe with her again.. perfect right ? She can see first hand what's going on because it's her work and fix it for me. No, not the case at all. I sit down and annoyingly she seems after I explained to her my concerns says "it's fine I tend to drill more along the sides and not on the tops that's how I do my acrylics." Proceeds to fix only one nail. Now I let my natural length grow up to my acrylic length. she then begins to tell me you need to be filing the sides of your nails to prevent the natural nail from growing up on the sides. I kinda just looked at her and explained well I don't want to do that because if I do and I file that gel polish away and then depending on how experienced I am I may file away the acrylic and create lifting or Unattachment between my nail bed and the acrylic( bottom line is though you should not have to be filing or tweeking your nails after ur appt or ever ) that is their job!!! So appt goes on I come to find out I was her last client that got fit in that day, can't imagine why she wasn't happy and was crappy.... I leave then COME BACK AGAIN a few days later after an emergency appt i had to make and I express to the girl (manager) the other girls lack of care and crappy attitude because she just wanted to leave like she's the best in the world and her shit don't stank. Nothing could be wrong right? Well wrong. under the nail that was one of the many lifted ones was some FUNGUS we come to find. At this point I'm angry because I knew I was right and the fact she totally dismissed me really began to tick me off, the whole salon did at that point. Like I said everything had been "fine" up until this point. Not great not amazing, they have done me wrong a few times before. So she fixes what she can! Great. Now I have a new full set coming up today the 21st of July (which my original girl told me I did not need at all) I took my nails off last night and found more fungus growing under again one of the other nails. At this point I'm pissed I called and said I don't want in with who I am supposed to be with I would like someone else, so ironically I got in with the owner perfect right? Not! AGAIN. She tells me she's sorry about the situation and proceeded to do my gel polish on my natural nails. (Crappiest job with gel on natural nails I've ever had done) at that point I'm just shocked at the lack of acknowledgment about what I've been through and about the fact her nail tech totally dismissed me and caused not one nail but two to have a fungus grow under it because she didn't care enough to just fix it and take the 30 mins. No instead I got her snarky attitude. So I get up to the front and pay the full price for my gel on natural nails and the fungus I got from there. They have officially lost me as a client. I don't ask for a lot, I'm very polite and just ask for a thorough good job. I have given them more than enough chances. I used to say they are a quality over quantity type salon but that's changed. A lot has changed. Owner had always ran her salon the way she does since I've been going there not fully aware of what's actually going on. There is a lot of problems with salons ppl just don't speak up because they don't feel comfortable. Well guess what these nail techs DONT know everything lol. They definitely lost my business. Maybe if she reads this she can actually acknowledge this error on her staffs behalf before it gets worse. She's so oblivious I'm sure there is a lot she doesn't know about. Or does.. and just doesn't give a shit like she did with me because she knows she has a lot of other clients. read more

A friend of mine and I had travelled over an hour to come here (due to covid) and get our mani pedis and eyebrows done and they made us pay in advance. The girls who did the mani pedis were very nice, but the quality was poor. Dust got into the polish creating imperfections on multiple nails, I saw her notice it and not do anything, some of my nails are bare on the sides without any polish, and some have polish covering even my cuticles that weren't fully cut off. I noticed the place was not clean, the lamps were covered in dust and grime, and there was old blood on the bathroom floor. We were on time for our appointment, but whoever set up our appointment made the eyebrow appointment over two hours after the mani pedi. We asked for a refund on the eyebrows since we would have to wait for another hour after we already finished the rest of our appointment, and for two eyebrows and a lip threading we got back $7 (brows $13 each and lip $5) because we "cancelled at the last minute" and our girls were just "done With our mani/pedis early" even though they were already working with their next appointment as soon as we finished. We chose this place for the high ratings, but left very disappointed, yet happy they didn't get to touch my eyebrows considering the way my nails look. read more

I have now been here twice for a manicure and pedicure. Both times were great. The past visit was my sister's bridesmaids getting pedicures and manicures for the wedding. The salon allowed us to bring in orange juice and champagne for mimosas and chocolate covered strawberries, and put us all together in a row for our pedicures. It was a great morning and we were all very satisfied with how our nails looked. I did shellac on my second visit and highly recommend it even though it costs more than a traditional manicure. I look forward to going back on my next visit to Toledo. read more

Very disrespectful managers. I've had many great services here, but due to my last visit, I will never return. I live out of town now and returned for a wedding. I had my pedicure at one and when I put shoes on at 4:15, the polish completely came off of my two big toes (not just wrinkled, completely came off). I made an appointment the next morning to have it fixed and was told this was normal - that it could take hours for polish to dry (it does not, I get pedicures religiously every two weeks and put shoes back on after an hour), but they would re-paint for me. My appointment was at 10 am and at 1:45 pm, I put on my wedding shoes and the same thing happened. My sister's polish did the same thing and she had waited a full day before putting close-toe shoes on. I went back to the salon the next day and asked for a refund, but was told no one was available to authorize refunds and they took my name and number for a manager to call me. They never called and when I called two days later the manager rudely told me they do not give refunds for pedicures because they are not responsible for how long the polish would take to dry. I finally got them to send me a check for $8 as a polish change. I understand smudges happen, but polish should NEVER take that long to dry. If I had hit my toe on something, I would come back and offer to pay for the fix, but to be treated like I was stupid for saying there was a problem is unacceptable. On the bright side, Amy is fantastic with shellac manicures - wish she would move to DC. read more

Got a regular manicure here with CND vinylux and it chipped the same day. I called asking for a new manicure or money back and was told I would have to go back to the same tech. Why would I go back to the same tech who did such a terrible job? Over the years I have had many services done here and will not be returning. There are enough nail salons in the area that poor customer service shouldn't be tolerated. read more

Such a great place! Come here every time I need my eyebrows waxed or mani/pedi. My manicures are always done prefect, and they last me a while. I usually go to Marisa A. She does an amazing job and really perfects everything. But I have had great experiences with everyone I have gone to. I would recommend making an appointment because they always take me right on time, and sometimes I ever. Schedule them the night before. I decided to go to Sandals to get acrylics done last Friday. While I was waiting to get seated, a lady at the front desk and the person who ended up doing my nails, Vanessa, were giving me nasty looks. After a couple of minutes Vanessa took me to a seat and immediately started to put on acrylics. After the acrylics were put on, I showed her a couple of designs I had in mind and she said she didn't have time to do any of them, and because I was rushed, I decided to get plain white, which ended up being 75 dollars. She did a good job on the shape of the nails but my nails were rough on the ends, bumps on some nails, there was left over polish around my nails, which I had to remove myself later, glue under some my nails, and removed skin around my nails. I think she was rushing because her next appointment was arriving, but the overall customer service I received from her was very rude. The other ladies around her were very nice and so was the person who checked me out (different front desk lady). I had called later that day to explain how I was upset and I was told that the manager would call me the following day, but I never received a phone call. It was my first time going to Sandals, and I will not be going back. read more

not the best staff to deal with, i called set the appointment i was on time and walked in checked in.. waited and waited the tech was just talking away doing nothing and i waited for a good 15 mins and i walked out, here is why i feel its bad, on nails sometimes things dont go as planed or you run short on time ( or long / over ) i am a person that hates to hold up others its a respect thing, if the tech had 10 or 15 mins of down time it could have been better spent i feel, or keep things on time if you will .. i find it rude to make people wait when you could be doing something, but if you want to do nothing dont do it in site of your next guest and be rude.. read more
