For me it comes down to fresh breads, quality ingredients, thoughtful assembly and one of the most important for me ... balanced ratio of ingredients. Each time I've ordered, the ratio of ingredients has been what has thrown me off. The subs are large and the bread is fresh, but between the massive amounts of shredded lettuce and the thickness of the bread, the meat on my turkey sandwich gets swallowed alive to where I'm constantly opening it up to look for and re-adjust. The ingredients though do seem fresh, so it's not a matter of never trying other sandwiches in the future. I just haven't found one yet that would be worth a repeat...so it's not that there is not potential.

One couple tried to squeeze in a baby stroller into the bar/dining area. Its really not suitable for things like suitcases or strollers so if you're in that camp maybe try some other spots because that also made a tiny space all the more difficult to navigate. Also, if you have a mobility device, this might not be the best spot for you either. I've never used their restrooms before so can't comment on that one. Go along 2nd street and enter through the Folger's pretty back garden - you'll walk by by inscriptions of a Rita Dove poem in the garden. Check in at the desk and head upstairs.
