Got the triple B burger because it was the most expensive burger and my employer was going to pay. Some how I did not realize when I ordered that it was 3 patties? so delicious though! Meat was tasty, had a bit of a crust on it from the grill. Cheese was melted, bacon crisp, tomato flavorful and the bread was fresh and soft. I would eat this every couple of weeks if I lived nearby. I always enjoy my visit to Sandi's Drive Inn when I am in the area. A roadside diner serving up a wide variety of tasty fast food for reasonable prices. I find the friendly staff to always give a quick welcome as you enter and the time from order to serving is not very long. The building has been here a while and is not a gleaming example of modern architecture, but that fact gives it a character that brings many patrons inside to sample the good food Sandi's has provided for many years. It is well-maintained and spic and span as one would expect a restaurant to be. My only complaint is a minor one. There is an occasional tendency to scrimp a bit on certain serving sizes. I recently ordered a burger combo and upsized it to a "large" from the regular size. When my food arrived, the container of fries was more of the size I would expect the regular portion to be. My burger was delicious and I savored every bite. I like the fact that Sandi's offers both Coke and Pepsi which certainly pleases those who prefer one beverage over the other. Sandi's was recommended by a local so we decided to give it a try. Place looks a little run down but the continuous line of cars at the drive thru suggested it's a popular place. The onion rings were delicious! Thick onions coated in hand dipped batter and served with a complementary sauce - so good. Also tried the BLT. Generous portion of crispy bacon with perfect amount of shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes. My only suggestion would be to make it on a bit more substantial bread. Husband tried the burger and liked it. Orders are cooked fresh at the time of order. Service was friendly and courteous. Reasonably priced. We've been to and through Richfield many times, but today was our first visit to Sandi's. They were busy, with a steady line of cars in the drive through. A sweet lady came out to take our order and, because it was our first visit and we didn't know what we wanted, she gave us a menu and answered several questions. She took our order in and within just a minute or so, we were at the window where we paid and got the food just another minute or three later. We both had mushroom and Swiss burgers, which were quite good. The onion rings were great, as were the munchers. Add a pineapple shake and a chocolate malt, respectively, and my wife and I were happily fed. (Probably over-fed, but we "had" to try a few things!) This was the first time I have been here. My daughter took me. In my opinion they are much better then McDonalds. I only have the regular cheeseburger with fries. Next time I go I will try one of the larger burger or something else on the menu. Their fry sauce was absolutely wonderful. It is like homemade with mayo and ketchup. Their prices are reasonable. I went here with my family and I was surprised to see how busy it was. It was hard to find a parking spot but otherwise the line inside went by quickly! The workers just take your order and then give you your food and that's all the interaction you will get for the most part. Normally we are a huge fan of Sandi's. However, this time I was more than unimpressed due to the service. We waited over 25 minutes for our food. As we were waiting in the drive through, I could see four of their staff through the window; making themselves drinks, throwing their arms around each other, and having what seemed like a great guys night. After 20 minutes, we knocked on the window and asked for a refund; they informed us that our food was almost prepared, and to please hold off. We ordered 4 bacon cheeseburgers, onion rings, and tater tots. Fried items were great. The burgers however, the reason we went there, were luke warm at best. 1 was actually cold and wet. My wife couldn't eat it so I gave it an unhappy go. Long story short... Spent the entire night around the toilet. The sign says "made to order". Just curious why the meat would be cooked but cold? The bacon was also cold and the cheese was not melted. Are the patties pre-cooked and left sitting in a fridge? The size of the patty was pressed very thin to fit the huge bun. This a local favorite and one of my favorites for sure. Me and my family always frequent this place when I'm home on days off. There isn't nothing here that I would not try. A classic in this small town. I was passing though and had good reviews so we stopped. The sign said the onion rings were voted the best in the county so would be wrong not to give them a try. Okay, I have been to Richfield three times over the last six months for work and I only now discovered Sandi's! This has become my new go to location and it only took one visit to become my new fave!
