My family and I visited this cute cafe and ordered the strawberry cream sando, chicken katsu sando, chicken katsu curry rice bowl, an ube matcha latte, and a Vietnamese coffee with boba. The bread on the sandwiches were so fluffy and delicious, and the strawberry sandwich had yummy whipped cream that wasn't too sweet. I loved the sauce on the katsu sandwich, and the cabbage on it also added freshness. I loved the flavor of the katsu curry, and the ratio of rice, chicken, curry, and vegetables was totally fair for the price! The ube matcha latte was AMAZING, actually the best matcha latte I have had at a cafe that doesn't specialize in coffee or matcha. It wasn't too sweet, and the ube and matcha flavors were both so strong, which I loved! The Vietnamese coffee was so yummy too, it was blended with coconut milk and was really creamy! The service was so quick, everything was fresh, and the cashier was so helpful and patient with us. They were even checking on us while we were eating and asking us if the food was good, which I really loved. :) The vibe of the place is very cozy, we could've easily stayed for a few hours and just enjoyed the ambiance if time allowed. I love me some Japanese sando's, so I was excited to try this place. The sandwiches were not bad. I had the shrimp and the egg sandwich. Compared to what I had in Japan bread is not as soft, the eggs were not as flavorful and a bit drier. Price was a bit high, but not too bad. I wished the menu was a bit larger. I would go back to try other sandwiches, especially the desert sandwiches. The wait after you placed your order seemed a bit long. My friend advertised Sando Satori as affordable, so I was excited to try the "oh so, soft, creamy, and sweet" fruit/strawberry sando. My wife and I ordered the strawberry sando and shrimp sando. The anticipated strawberry sando was a huge disappointment. The bread for the strawberry sando was on the drier side and not soft, seeing as it was prepared beforehand and placed in their refrigerated display case. The bread for the shrimp sando was soft and amazingly paired with their freshly prepared fried shrimp and cabbage. Affordability is questionable as the strawberry sando was $8 for a mediocre bread quality that makes up the foundation of such sando. While the décor remains mostly the same, the new owners are making small updates--like a new couch in the back seating area. The matcha wasn't too strong or earthy--just the right balance. Beyond drinks, Sando Santori also offers warm katsu sandwiches, including Chicken Katsu and Ebi Katsu. We opted for the Chicken Katsu Sandwich, and while the wait was a bit long, it was absolutely worth it. The crispy panko coating was incredible, and the chicken was fresh, juicy, and flavorful. The thick, fresh bread paired perfectly with the well-balanced coleslaw. Hands down, one of the best katsu sandwiches we've ever had! We also got the Cold Fruit Sando Combo, and it did not disappoint. The whipped filling was perfectly sweetened, thick, and generously portioned. The combination of strawberries, mandarin oranges, and green grapes made every bite refreshing and delicious. This will definitely be our go-to spot when we're in the area. The decor was modern and tasteful. I believe it used to be a Kung Fu Teahouse. The staff were pleasant. Its location is in a shopping center with poor parking on a road that hard to get to unless you live nearby. I was disappointed as the name hints at Japanese sandwiches. Unfortunately the selection was limited. And it wasn't very "Japanese". They leave the crust on. The egg sando was bland but not too salty. I've had better at a lower price.
