This restaurant is all about the Location & Convenience. Especially if you are traveling with little ones. You don't have to worry about getting your kids in the car and driving. It is a simple walk from your Cottage to the Restaurant. Located inside the Legoland beach retreat resort. If you are staying at the Beach Retreat Resort you are walking distance from your Cottage. The menu has a wide range of options for Lunch and Dinner. The food and service was OK however the convenience made it worth our experience. Breakfast which is included in your stay is pretty good and has a wide range of options. Eggs, bacon, meat sausage, scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, potato vegetables, "Lego brick" waffles, cheeses, various cereals, cottage cheese, boiled eggs, a fruit bar that included watermelon, pineapple, oranges. The play area is wonderful and it just made it easier to entertain our 1 & 2 year old. They also also events in the restaurant like story time and a dance party. We would definitely be back for the convenience. Enjoy!

Breakfast here was included every morning during our stay. Excellent options for any kind of diet. Vegetarian sausages, bacon, meat sausage, scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, potato and veggie medley, "Lego brick" waffles, cheese cubes, various cereals, cottage cheese, boiled eggs, a fruit bar that included watermelon, pineapple, oranges, bananas, apples, and mandarins, donuts, and all types of juices, coffee, and soda. Something for everyone! If you don't get filled up, you either came too close to the end time or there is something seriously wrong! Food was refilled in a timely manner. Bit if advice, though. Go early! One of our three mornings they weren't refilling foods close to the 10:00 cut off. We also tried Sandy's for dinner on our last evening. Surprisingly it was pretty tasty. After being at Legoland all day we were famished. The nacho appetizer was lacking, but it did its job. My children enjoyed their kids' meals and my husband stated his shrimp was fresh and tasty. My black bean burger was also flavorful and cooked to the right temperature. Fries are fries. We topped off our dinner with the Captain's desert. It was very rich with an Oreo cookie ice cream sandwich on top of a brownie. Craft beers and a full bar is available at your own taste. Prices weren't that outrageous, so it was a pretty good bargain. Our server Nicole had quite a few tables, but she was still attentive. We were happy Sandy's is a part of the Legoland Beach Retreat!

Buffet City feels like a mix between a tourist hotspot and a local go-to--and honestly, it works as…read moreboth. It's located in a busy plaza with Publix and other shops, so parking is easy and plentiful. The restaurant can get pretty packed, but unless you're coming in with a large group, reservations aren't really necessary. The buffet leans heavily Asian, offering sushi, a wide variety of seafood dishes, classic Chinese favorites, and a hibachi station. That said, if you're not big on seafood (like me), you'll still find some solid American options. Many Asian buffets tend to limit those choices to basics like pizza and chicken tenders, but Buffet City goes a bit further. I was pleasantly surprised to see pot roast, mashed and roasted potatoes, and even fried chicken. They also have soups, salads, and a dessert selection that's actually pretty good. Come prepared--this is definitely an "elastic waistband" kind of place because you're going to want to eat your money's worth. The restaurant is surprisingly clean and well-kept, and the food stays fresh. The hibachi station has a great selection, and the chef is quick and thorough. Service is decent. Staff come around to refill drinks and clear plates regularly--but be warned, if you're not finished, guard your plate like it's gold. Same goes for your utensils--leave them on a plate, and they're gone. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience--the food, the atmosphere, and the fun of loading up our plates with a little bit of everything. Hope you enjoy it just as much! Let me know what you think.

It is a very big restaurant, could easily fit a couple of football teams. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the restaurant. Our server Brendan was amazing. Super high energy, super friendly and super on point with refills and making sure that everything was good with us. Honestly, he really did make our dining experience a pleasure. Now onto the food. So many options. A long buffet of salad. A long buffet of hot foods and plenty of side dishes. Desserts Yum. I started off with the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn casserole, macaroni and cheese, chicken and dumpling soup and a soft sweet roll. And that was just plate number one. I'm not gonna go over every single thing I ate, but let's just say I truly think that this place is a must go to for dinner, lunch or breakfast. We enjoyed our dinner so much tonight that we are actually going back again tomorrow to do this again. The menu rotates and changes daily so there's plenty of food options and it is all you can eat. So my advice is simple. Go to this restaurant and go hungry and be ready to meet some really nice people and have a really good time.

It was my first time eating fried green tomatoes! They are a new favorite. Also loved the fried chicken, sautéed cabbage, the slimy okra, and rutabaga turnip. I will literally name it all. How many different diners can I try for breakfast in Florida? Ten? Twenty-five? Fifty? I'll bet I'm…read moreheading towards fifty! These fine folks are 35 miles from my casa and off the beaten track for me. I was in the area for another reason, and they were calling me. Arriving- their address is 5th Street but think Route 17. The parking lot is fine and there are some solid handicapped spots. Ambience- You enter through the outside patio. It's very nice and shaded but you're still going to be eating with cars whizzing by. That's never been an attraction for me. Inside has got a 50s vibe. Everything is spotless. You see the buffet almost immediately. There is a semi-open kitchen in that you can see part of it from some seats. The menus are laminated to the tables. The men's bathroom was spotless. Customer Service- Maybe 8 stars! Just awesome! My drink arrived within seconds of sitting down. My order was taken within seconds of when I was ready. I was checked on appropriately. My bill was on the table, and you pay the cashier when you leave. Nothing but good stuff to say. Food- Standard American menu with no big surprises. When I try a new place for breakfast, I always get an omelet. This time it was a Meatlovers with potatoes and a biscuit @ $11.99. The omelet was 4 eggs which is a little unusual. I was asked if I wanted my home fries cooked on the grill or deep-fried. That was something new! I choose deep fried. Everything was out quickly. My biscuit (not pictured) was warm and soft. My omelet was just fine. An average amount of meat and cheese and cooked nicely. It didn't seem like a four-egg omelet. Just the usual three. I could get this omelet anywhere and that's not necessarily a bad thing. OMG the deep-fried home fries! Did you see my picture? These are not from a bag but homemade. They were piping hot and just damn amazing! I never had anything like them, and they'll be in my dreams tonight. So, my breakfast with excellent service was easily a four-star experience. I can't speak to their lunch. Their average on Yelp is 4.3 which I think is justified. Give them a try!
