One of the most horrible experiences I have ever had!!!! Coffee had no flavor at all, it was basically water. Biscuits and Gravy that I ordered were cold and no flavor at all. Only got served coffee once. We never had a waiter come and check on us. Our food was served to us after almost an hour and half later. We were there practically until closing time and when we were still eating it was only my family and another table and when another family arrived to eat, the manager said there was no seats!!! So happy IHOP was busy near our hotel and we stumbled upon this local gem. Place was super busy but wait was 15 minutes. We ordered waffles and gravy, eggs, bacon and sausage, pancakes, French toast (via Stack em Up option). Omgasssss...delish! All of it! The waffle with fresh blueberries and whip..so so SO good (facial worthy). Service was fantastic, all your food made the way you want and all the staff from the hostess to the waiters to the folks they serve the water and other drinks..everyone seemed happy to be there..the place was slamming and usually you'd see folks a little stressed and impatient...we didn't feel that here. there were 7 of us and we all left there feeling happy! My wife and I love Sandy's and try to get there every Saturday morning. The food is GREAT, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Try the biscuits and gravy, pretty good stuff. It does seem that when you order home fries sometimes it will be plain potatoes and sometimes it will be an kinda mexi-mix in the potatoes with onion and salsa and stuff. I have not asked why it differs but I like both styles so I am ok with it. read more

I just walked out of Sandy's. Spent 35 minutes waiting when a gentleman sits down at counter seat next to me within 10 minutes he has his breakfast served waitress has his coffee creamer and water all set up for him. It took me 20 minutes to have my order taken and creamer for my now cold coffee with no spoon to stir it. And he gets served first utensil an all! We enjoy getting away for breakfast and appreciate a quiet atmosphere- which is difficult. Certainly, Sandy's Country Junction is a very popular spot in the middle of Clovis. It's very easy to find although the parking is difficult and the atmosphere is very welcoming. However, the coffee was terrible and a food was excessive, high fat, high salt and not what we appreciate or need. read more

Just moved into clovis and wanted a new breakfast spot. We ordered a little bit of everything off the menu; omelet, biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs, and a pancake. Everything was delicious!! Food came out fresh and fast! They even made me a new pancake when I poured too much syrup on my initial one. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy! Aside from how good the food was, the service was exceptional!! A very engaging team serviced our table, asking to top off our coffee or checking to see how everything was going. I am all about customer service and was delighted to leave an above normal tip!! Favorite Saturday morning ritual. Not only is the food great but the staff is consistently the same, awesome. It is always nice to visit a place that doesn't have a high rate of turnover, that says a lot about the business. I love seeing the same cooks in the kitchen making great meals, that are very generous in size. Nancy and Johnathon are usually waiting our table and are very friendly and make every effort to make your meal enjoyable, and always served with a smile. So just had breakfast at this place this morning with a friend. First time ever. The interior has a very western style feel. By that I mean like the wild west. There were mostly an older crowd inside, but there was one table of younger people. So I ordered the country fried steak with sunnyside up eggs and country potatoes and biscuit and gravy. My friend ordered the eggs benedict with the same sides. Overall the dishes were good. I wish my countrry fried steak was a little more fried so it would be more crispy, but other than that it was good. The eggs benedict was pretty solid. The egg was slightly overcooked, but nothing to be worried about and the hollandaise sauce was acceptable. I've read reviews about people raving over the biscuit and gravy, but I can't say that they were anything that spectacular. Granted the biscuit looked and tasted home made, but just didn't have any sorta special appeal. Would have gave this place 5 stars if the meal was a little hotter and my country fried steak fried a little longer. Overall I would come here again. read more

Very hearty portions of standard breakfast fare. Glad to see that they had a senior menu, so I was able to order an omelette made with only 2 eggs and German sausage rather than three. The food is ok. The ambiance sucks as it has a bunch of old crap as décor. The service and polite young people keep your coffee full at all times and are so friendly. Beware there is an old man is that leers at you (or us anyway) for no reason and it is beyond creepy and uncomfortable. I was almost going to ask him if there was a problem and I didn't want to even think it was a race issue. I have lived and grown up in Clovis my whole life and have hardly have any issues. He totally ruined our morning and I will tell everyone that I can about him. If you want great breakfast go to the new Train Depot off of Ashlan and First. My husband and I love having breakfast food together on Sundays because we never get to see each other due to our conflicting schedules and Sandy's Country Junction has been on our list of breakfast places to dine in for awhile. I'm glad I made the opportunity over here after hearing so many great things. I even saw an instagram story from one of my old coworkers that Dana White, the UFC president ate here. What we found out on our visit was that you can call ahead and reserve a table because they get absolutely packed on the weekends. I am not sure about weekdays though. Another thing I found out and love is that they are pet friendly. One of the waitresses told me that someone even brings a pot bellied pig to eat here often. The wait staff were super friendly and on top of their game. We ordered drinks and got them quickly. Then, we ordered omelettes and it took awhile to get thwm, but definitely worth the wait. I got the italian omelette which consisted of italian sausage, green bell peppers, mushrooms, onions and if I remember correctly, pepperjack cheese and marinara on top. I opted to get the hash browns and biscuits and gravy and asked for salsa on the side which was mild. I don't remember what omelette my husband got, but he got hash browns and white toast with jam. We both enjoyed our food. I loved that each bite of the omelette came with gooey ooey cheese and the veggies and meat were well cooked. The hash browns were delicious and I enjoyed my biscuits and gravy. If you are local, this is definitely a breakfast spot to try. Very good breakfast place in Old Town Clovis. I've eaten here a handful of times and have always had very good food here. I would definetly recommend their biscuits and gravy, also order the country potatoes but ask for them extra crispy, we had the waitress give us this little tip. My wife says the chocolate milk is great, comes in a glass boot with whip cream and chocolate sprinkles so it at least looks cool. The staff is usually friendly, especially the L.O.L. servers. Last time we went the hostess (the chick with the skunk hair do) was very rude. That was our first time seeing her there, usually they are all very nice, hopefully she won't be there next time because we'll be going back. read more

My husband and I walked in on a Saturday morning knowing that almost all great breakfast places would have a wait. We put our name in around 10:30am and got sat 5 minutes later (the place was packed). The lady who took our name (the owner which we found out through a later conversation with her husband) greeted us with a nice smile and told us it would be about 10-15 minutes so we were excited when we got sat in 5. I ordered eggs over-medium well, country potatoes with no veggies, and biscuits and gravy. I assumed my eggs would come out crappy as they normally do at every other breakfast house but nope they were PERFECT! The country potatoes were crunchy (just how i like them) and the B&G were smoking hot! My husband who is not a breakfast person order a club sandwich with french fries. When the sandwich came out it was HUGE but was exactly what he wanted. The bacon was cooked to perfection and the bread was lightly toasted. In the middle of the meal a gentleman (assuming he was the owners husband because he was walking around to every table talking to the regulars) came over to our table and asked how everything was and asked if it was our first time there because he didn't remember ever seeing us there. We replied yes as we were visiting family in town. We started chit chatting and found out his daughter lives in the same district as us. So after a few minutes he told us to enjoy the rest of the meal and went on his way. Our experience at Sandy's was awesome and will make it a must have when we go into Clovis.
