Number One Nail Salon truly is number one. I've gone with my elderly mom and they always treat her with so much kindness and respect. The new location beside Skechers is clean, welcoming, and just as great as before. Men absolutely need pedicures too, and We, the gentleman who helped me, was amazing. She wouldn't give me her name at first, which is unprofessional in and of itself, and based on the reviews of people experiencing this same awful person, I can see why. The business card is a crossed out card of some other place. She also physically hurt my nails. Bumps all over the nail bed. Pain, rudeness about comforting her on it. Total chaos and terrible work. I'm sad that I have to update my review. I haven't been going here for almost a year now and periodically, I think back about the times I had getting my nails done there. At first, I thought the owner was funny and sarcastic, but then I realized he would constantly talk bad about his assistant to me (I believe her name was Julie) in front of her and customers, constantly degrading and embarrassing her. Saying that she's lazy and customers always complain on how she does pedicures... But I always loved her work. I had no complaints whatsoever about her and didn't think she was lazy. I told him a few times that it's not nice to talk bad about her like that, and especially in front of customers. I saw her with tears in her eyes a few times because of how he talks to her and about her. One day, I couldn't take it anymore and just walked out. I don't feel comfortable going back and being in that negative environment. I pray for the assistant, Julie, and hope she stays strong and finds another job so she doesn't have to feel degraded anymore. read more

She is so expert in doing my nails that they look good as new for 3-4 weeks later. The shop has a good assortment of nail colors and brands, and they also do gels. While you get your nails done, you can also pamper yourself with a pedicure in nice comfy chairs. i was a little nervous walking into this salon after reading the reviews here, but i was proven wrong. once i did walk in the business was full, but they were quick and efficient while still being patient and alert towards their other customers. ive been coming here for 2 years now and ive never had any issues, i see a lot of the complaints are about holly and wii, but this is a close and family owned business and they're fun to laugh around with and talk to. im glad im able to not feel awkward and glued to my phone while getting my nails done, and if you want a fancy design, this isn't the place for you- but that doesnt mean theyre not great. this place might not be for everyone but every person ive recommended it to has had good reviews and theyre the only people ii trust to do my nails. i recommend either wii or holly. aside from all the negativity, holly has been doing my acrylics since the first time ive gone there, and even though she usually doesnt do long acrylics, she always makes an exception for me. even if ii come in past 7pm or want an earlier appointment due to work, wii will come out and open the shop for me and start on my nails before his wife comes and finishes them. for about an inch and a half nails, they last about 2-3 weeks with no breaking- and ii work 5/7 days a week. i usually get gel and if i don't do acrylic, the gel lasts me 3-4 weeks before chipping! 10/10 recommend coming here. call before coming in- even though walk-ins are available, they do tend to get busy often! read more

I don't personally know how the nails work here, but if my girlfriend is happy I am happy! I take her in usually ever 3-4 weeks because the nails stay for that long, and it's very affordable. They just recently moved locations, and believe me and my girlfriend will be following them! I cannot comprehend these were done at a nail salon. Never will I return. My nail shapes are uneven the paint job is mediocre and there is no apex and are very thin. Their pricing says $35 and up for full sets yet I ended up paying $60? How? 25$ for paint ? I had to pick out my color by choosing via polish bottle displayed on their wall. After choosing my color he asked, "do you know how this color looks?" As if he was trying to convince me to choose a different color?? "Yes I know how the color looks", I responded. From the beginning the first woman hAd a nasty attitude with no positivity in her to the point I had to ask, "what time do you close?" This place is really poorly up kept. Very dirty and dusty. They provide cheap services for cheap prices, I had to come because my nail person cancelled last minute and I needed them done ASAP and my nail deposit wasn't gonna be returned for a few days so I came here, my nails looked cute for 2 days and they started looking pretty rough the 3rd day. There was 4 people working that day 3 girls 1 male they told me to sit down and I waited for a little bit then they brought a small bucket filled with Barely warm water with some soap. The lady who did my toes was gentle and nice and painted them pretty good with the exception of my big toe, (the paint at the very top was kinda messed up and I didn't notice till I got home later) I was facing the lady doing my toes because my legs had to be towards her the lady who did my nails was really aggressive and rough. She made me turn my upper half completely to do my nails while my feet were getting done. I have back issues from a car accident a month ago so it was really uncomfortable. Anyways she was really rough after she finished one had she would swat it away and aggressively grab the other, she Barely touched my cuticles causing them to look dry and cracky, she applied the acrylic very sparingly but it wasn't that bad, they're very thin but the style looks good and it looks really natural, after she very aggressively puts the nails on she asks me to sit at another chair and the male one starts to paint my nails, his paint job is subpar and super blochy but I don't notice till I'm staring at them after they dry in the car keep in mind I'm in a rush but I'm not at all rushing them. Also I was lighting a candle and the thumb caught on fire and melted in a second, I've burned my nails before but they always take a second to melt these ones light on fire and melted so fast within a second . I Probably won't be back and I was thinking that the whole time I was there . I tipped them still cause having my nails done made me feel good but tbh the lady who did my acrylic really needs to chill out. There was no need to be so aggressive with my hands i don't know what you we're watching on ur phone while you were doing it but if it upsets you that much maybe you shouldn't watch it while working? read more

I used to bring the elderly gentleman I take care of here to get a manicure because of one person, Jenny. She was so sweet and nice and was amazingly compassionate towards him since he's blind and partially deaf. I overlooked everything wrong with this place because of her. But now since she's not working there anymore I can say that I will no longer be bringing him there. They are rude, mean, discriminatory and just plain disrespectful. The guy that works there is the worse one. One time when I brought Derek there he made me wait over an hour because he said I didn't have an appointment and let other people go before me. People who clearly had no appointment either but because I was with an elderly person who is blind he thought it was ok to do so. He kept telling Jenny in their language to take other customers. She just kept looking at me and saying I'm so sorry. When finally I said something he said ok ok you're next. The last time I went there I made sure to call and make an appointment first and the guy who is the one who almost always answers the phone told me to go in at 4pm. I got there and looked for Jenny only to be told she didn't work there anymore. I thought it sucked but I was already there so I might as well let someone else work on Derek. He made me wait 25mins even though I had made an appt. The lady who took care of us was so uninterested and just rushed through the whole thing. That was the last time I went there The place is dirty, the chairs and tables they use are old, they don't even wash their hands before working on a new customer and who knows if they sterilize their equipment. You might be saving a few bucks coming here but I personally would go somewhere a little more expensive if it means a better customer experience. read more

I really wanted to love this place because it's on the way home. I came in on a wednesday morning right when they opened. I believe the owner was the one who was helping me. I told him I wanted gel nails and a pedi. I looked up the reviews and saw that the cost of this would be about $36 which is pretty much a steal since most places charged $40+ for gel manicure and a pedi. The owner was very nice, and talked to me throughout the whole procedure. It didn't feel like I needed to be awkwardly glued to my phone while someone worked on my nails. The gel stayed on pretty well, I would say more than three weeks but the polish turned yellow within the first three days! I originally asked for a nude/pink color for the gel but it turned out looking like a tan/yellow foundation shade. The pedicure was okay and lasted decently long but took a while to dry. Overall, for the price and the great service, I would try them out again. read more
