I haven't done a review in a long time but when it comes to the service, vibes, and time my nail tech, Bebe, puts into my nails for me to feel extra pretty, I knew I had to write a review here. The vibes with Bebe are absolutely amazing and when I show her different pictures of what kind of nails I want, we collaborate together to create the best nails!! Pricing at Cozy Nails are reasonable compared to other salons I have been to in the valley and the vibes are always high. Plus if you come here to get your nails with my favorite girl BeBe you can go next door to get coffee at Laidrey and/or go to Sunny Bookstore to look at books and grab some flowers for your loved ones or yourself. Had to update my review, as other have said toe fungus is rampant in their polish. They need to start fresh with new polishes. Hit or miss in quality mani pedis and they will let you gel until your nail is so thin it needs weeks to recover. I have been coming here for 5+ years. Honestly there are some lovely ladies working here. They took extra time with my manicure and pedicure to make sure it looked perfect. I had an ingrown toenail I tried to take care of on my own and it was really hurting, I told Mai and she took care of it. She took a lot of time and work and kept asking me if it hurt to see if we got it, I seriously have never had someone so kind as a nail tech and when she got it we could both tell. Afterwards she put on some liquid to prevent infection and she really soaked it more than once and massaged it in, like I said she really seemed to genuinely care. I am pain free and looking fabulous, and super happy. Support a small Asian American business and get your nails done here. I'm so confused. I came here right before I left town for a wedding on the East Coast. My usual nail place was booked, but all the great reviews on this place put me at ease and I made an appointment. Everyone was very nice, but the manicure was AWFUL. And this picture is AFTER I (reluctantly) asked her to fix them. Am I missing something? Maybe I came on an off day? I realize this is truly a first world problem, but I had no time to get them fixed anywhere else before I left and I was just so sad to go to a wedding with them looking like this. Got my nails done 9/24/2019 Horrible horrible job first time at this place. I asked for coffin shape nails and this is what I get ! I paid $50 +$10 tip ! Looks like the person that did my nails did not know what she was doing. Nail thickness is all over the place shape is not coffin shape take a look at the pictures. I don't understand how this place has good reviews. So disappointed and now I have to go find another place where they ACTUALLY KNOW how to work with acrylics. I highly do not recommend this place. I have NEVER written a bad review in my life until right now. I went to Holly Bella Nails today to get a dip powder manicure which I have gotten in the past. Just to do my nails (no toes) was 2 hours long and they completely forgot to do lotion or a hand massage. I was CUT during cuticle cutting and buffing I BLED ON 5 DIFFERENT FINGERS AND IT HURTS! You can even see the blood that I tried so hard to wash off still on my nails. Red nail polish is also ALL OVER MY NAIL BEDS AND SO SLOPPY. When I asked her if she could fix it she said "you need to wash your hands several times".. I have gotten my dip powder done in black before and there was never residue like this left when I left the salon. I was so unhappy and in pain, the stylist could clearly tell and STILL had me pay the full rate. Today was the first day in my life that I did not feel a tip was deserved. read more

Correction on my prior review: I went to Holly Bella last week for a mani pedi. My pedicure is still in tact and looks great. However, my gel manicure started to peel within 6 days. The lady doing my nails would not let me put them into the light for a second time once the light turned off, and I knew it wasn't long enough. See picture attached. I stopped in for a dip manicure. The staff was all really nice. There wasn't a great selection of colors for dip, maybe like 15 on one ring. The technician was very detail oriented and did a great job shaping the nails. However for some reason the dip color was somewhat uneven, which I've never seen happen. I'm probably the only one who looks closely enough to notice, but still draws my eye. Also the top coat started to bubble and peel on the second day. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! This is the worst place ever to get your nails done!!!! I wish I could give them zero stars! First of all the nails have all different shapes and you can see it perfectly in one of the pictures (side view). Second, it took them 3 1/2 hours to finish French gel manicure. It's unheard of. I was late for my appointment because of that. Third, Four days after I had my French manicure done the nails start peeling! I went to the manager to show the nails, she was extremely rude. She did not even want to listen to what I wanted to say, did not want to refund the money. I ask her to call the owner and she refused to do so. I got *so lucky* coming here. I initially chose this place because of one nail tech mentioned repeatedly, but she either wasn't there that day or isn't there anymore, so I ended up with an appointment with my only full-set option, Tam. And, I'll say it again, I got SO LUCKY because Tam is some kind of acrylic prodigy master. I have never in my life had nails as good as Tam gave me. I wanted coffin nails, but I wanted them to be thin and fairly short (short for coffin nails, at least). This is a tough request, and nobody else has ever been able to do it quite right. Tam didn't just do a good job, he did a *flawless* job. I walked away thinking "this is how my nails were always meant to be. What have I been doing every day before this day? I can't even remember." They were short enough that I had no trouble with anything that acrylics usually make difficult (like typing) and so thin that everybody asked me how I got my natural nails so perfectly coffin-shaped (and were then stunned when I told them they were acrylics). When he did them, he warned me that they would be much easier to break if he did them that thin, and I assured him that I would take responsibility if they did, but three weeks later NOT ONE BROKEN NAIL! I'm telling you, Tam is magic. I almost didn't want to leave this review because I don't want him to get so booked that I can't get an appointment, but he deserves the review and he deserves the business, so I'll wait in line if I must. ;) I run a nail art instagram (it's @ktkawaii if you're curious ) so the appearance of my nails is really important. I have made it my job to have good nails, so I think I give a pretty trustworthy assessment. But I'll add pics as well so you can see for yourself. One last thing. They prefer you tip in cash (which I totally understand) but I didn't have any cash on me. I asked if it would be okay if I ran to get cash and come back to tip. The owner and/or manager (I'm not sure which one she is) said "oh, you don't have to do that, it's okay, we can put it on the card" (which was very sweet, trying to accommodate me like that). I insisted, and here's what impressed me: neither of them ever made me feel like they didn't trust me to return. For all they knew, I could have been planning to take off without tipping (which I would never do, but they didn't know that, I was a stranger to them) but they totally gave me the benefit of the doubt and never stopped giving A+ customer service. On a busy Tuesday evening I called every shop in town and no one wanted to take me. Finally, Holly Bella! Got me in within 30 minutes. They were so nice and the place was spotless! I liked that they did they had dip manicure and also had my favorite polishes from Presto! Location is great and staff is well trained. I found this place on Yelp and saw that it was near my house and had great reviews and I was in desperate need for a manicure -- my fingernails were a hot mess. There were a few ladies there already so I waited for probably 20 minutes until it was my turn. One of the manicurists, who I think was the owner, convinced me to get gel nails. Two of the customers there were proponents of it. They swore by how long it would last and not chip. So I went ahead and got gel nails for the first time. It was $25. I got my nails done on 11/9. It is now 11/23 and they're still chip-free. My nails grew quite a lot, as the manicurist mentioned my nails would grow at a healthy pace as an added bonus for getting gel nails. My nails now look like outgrown roots on a brunette who thinks she's a blonde. With that being said, I would definitely go back again sometime soon. I just wish they had more gel nail colors though. Parking: There are two tandem spaces directly behind the salon, but there is plenty of parking in a back lot, you just have to walk a little more. There is also street parking. read more

I don't get my nails done often enough to have a regular manicure place, but I will keep Holly Bella in my back pocket for when my nails need some attention. I live in Los Feliz but spend a lot of time in Encino, where my family lives, and I will probably default to Holly Bella next time I want a mani pedi. I found Holly Bella on Yelp on the day of my engagement shoot at the end of January. I called ahead to make sure the place wasn't booked, and I was able to show up about fifteen minutes later. The salon was plain, clean, and sufficiently relaxing, and on the Monday of MLK, it was almost empty. I asked for a mani pedi, picked my colors, and sat down in a comfortable pedicure chair. The whole process took less than an hour, but it didn't feel rushed. Just relaxing, and as efficient as I needed it to be. Hannah did my manicure while Piggie did my pedicure, and both were very nice and friendly. A very pregnant Holly was also in the salon, and she was sweet, too. I enjoyed talking with all three ladies, who made the salon feel warm and welcoming. The mani pedi was excellent. I mean my nails look terrible now, but it's been six weeks and I should probably invest in some nail polish remover if I'm really not going to get my nails done ever. Though actually, the polish on my toes looks surprisingly acceptable? Anyway, both fingers and toes looked great for at least two or three weeks, and there has been minimal chipping on my fingernails and none on my toenails, even now. The color selection was great, and I chose a deep red for my toes and a blush pink for my fingers. My cuticles were pretty gross when I showed up (I'm coming off really well here, aren't I) and Hannah took them to task. Both manicure and pedicure included brief massages, and those were fantastic. The total damage for a great mani pedi was $30 before tip. Not bad at all. My nails looked great for my engagement photos, and I'd go out of my way to come back in the future. My bachelorette is in June, so maybe I'll see the Holly Bella ladies again around then. read more

I came here on Thursday for a gel manicure and my manicure barely lasted a week. My polish has began to separate from my nails and peel off, which is frustrating, especially because of the price I paid ($30). I usually go to a different place for a gel manicure that charges me only $25 and the polish lasts at least 2 weeks, literally. It's great, you get more for your buck. I don't recommend this nail salon. The quality of the gel polish is cheap because it only lasts a week. Also, $30 is a rip off when you can find many other places in the valley that can do it for $22-$25. read more

Came in for a quick polish change and these ladies won me over. Yes it's a small nail salon. Yes they do typical nail salon services but the entire staff is so personable. I see every client interacting with technicians. Everyone is laughing, happy and getting their nails done. I used to frequent dashing diva up the street but then they suddenly closed and I felt lost.
