He then pre-treated difficult areas and proceeded to power wash the job as promised in the time as estimated. He was punctual, courteous, and polite throughout the process. I couldn't have asked for a better worker. Three days later the stains are still visibly absent. The carpet is now completely dried and I couldn't have been happier with the entire process. Nothing feels better than a spring reset but I knew I probably couldn't do the job as well as the pros, so I found Neatme through Yelp Request a Quote. Sam responded quickly and I was able to find an appointment that worked for me and paid the deposit easily. They arrived on time and after I showed them to the bathrooms, they were off to work! One of my bathrooms is a half bath and wasn't too bad, but the other two are full baths. One of them is the kids' bathroom and the other is our master bathroom. The kids bathroom, as you can imagine, needed some TLC. After Neatme was in there it's sparkling and smells great! Our bathroom was the bear. I'll be honest - our shower is SO hard to clean. There was nasty build up and soap scum that literally makes me gag when I try to clean it (LOL I am so sorry to these guys) but they got it literally SPOTLESS! The first time, I was super pregnant with my first baby and had a couch from my old apartment that had all kinds of smells trapped in it. By the time he was done, they were completely gone. Fast forward to now -- pregnant with my second, and we fostered a puppy for a few months on top of having a toddler running around. Between the accidents, the spills, and just the general chaos, my heightened pregnancy sense of smell had me noticing every single thing. After Guy was done, the house smelled brand new. I couldn't believe the difference. He was quick, thorough, and so easy to work with. Reasonably priced, and on top of communication from the very beginning. That said, I'm unfortunately pretty disappointed with the actual service. When scheduling, I specifically explained that I was looking for a deep cleaning of the carpeted stairs and hallways. I also asked beforehand whether furniture could be moved and was told that it could be. Once he arrived, however, moving the furniture was never mentioned again, and I probably should have spoken up about it at the time. What surprised me most was the cleaning process itself. He used a hand vacuum, sprayed the carpets with cleaning solutions from spray bottles, then went over them with what appeared to be a standard Shark vacuum and another machine that, as far as I could tell, didn't use water or perform the type of extraction/deep cleaning I was expecting. The entire service took less than an hour and cost $180. To his credit, the carpets did smell better afterward, and he was very nice throughout the visit. He even recognized my screen name and jokingly mentioned that he'd wondered what kind of customer I might be...which was actually pretty funny. Thankfully, I promise I'm less terrifying in person. But ultimately, my family and I weren't happy with the final result. For $180 and a service described as a deep clean, I expected a noticeably deeper level of carpet cleaning than what we received. Instead, I was left with the unfortunate feeling that I could have rented a carpet-cleaning machine and achieved a more thorough result myself for considerably less money. Responsiveness and coordination aside - he's also such a nice guy - he left no trace of my roommates: two children, a golden retriever and a long hair cat. I sent pictures ahead of service. He explained why the rings formed - botched attempt at spot cleaning dirty fabric - and how he would *try and resolve it. His rates are right on par with all the vendors I spoke to. Scott didn't feel right only doing my sofa at base fee. "I wasn't getting enough bang for my buck." He did an 8 x 10 area carpet without touching the rate. Just walked out the door and didn't leave the place wreaking of cleaner. Plenty of companies I've used in the past are Green cleaners. Despite dropping the chemicals, you still get some odor. I don't smell a thing. Scott isn't the only guy out there with perfect reviews. If your decision comes down to "who has more," make a different one. This is your guy.
