I love the fact that they the previous reviews said that they were honest and did not try to upsell unneeded services. As a single woman, I get anxiety every time I have to get my car serviced. The father and son duo were friendly, knowledgeable and gave me straightforward and honest pricing. Keep in mind, when turning on the street, go straight towards the back and keep looking on the right for the sign of the shop. It's kinda hidden and you might miss it. JJ and James helped me out when I was travelling to Las Vegas for work. The plate under my car came loose during my drive and started griding on the street. I called My Maintenance Man Automotive since it was right near me, and they told me they could get me in right away. They pulled a car out of the garage so they could help me, and fastened my plate to the undercarriage so it would be safe for me to drive. They were fast, professional and very kind! The check engine light on my 2014 Hyundai Accent came on. I performed an at-home OBD check that showed a trouble code P0455 - EVAP Emission System Leak Detected. I called MMMA and found they had an opening that morning so dropped off my car and a few hours later, bad parts replaced, car was running and ready for pick up. The unique service that stands above other auto repair shops is a system that allows customers to drop off and pick up their vehicles after hours. Since my work hours are the same as most auto repair shops it's difficult to drop off in the morning without being late to work and then have to leave early from work to pick up afterwards before the shop closes. If I could give Incompetent My Maintenance Man 0 stars, I would! If I could give Incompetent My Maintenance Man negative stars, I would! I would give them at least a -17 star review or lower if I could. Unfortunately, Yelp requires that I give them at least a 1 star review. I am very disappointed in their incompetence. I tried them because of the 5-star reviews. It was a huge mistake. Kerry and his mechanics did a terrible job fixing both of my vehicles. It is very sad. First, I had them try to fix the air conditioner on both of my vehicles. They are both sedans. They are quite different from each other. However, the common denominator among both of them is that both air conditioners are not working at the moment. I initially took my 2005 Chevrolet Malibu to this shop to have the AC looked at. They said it needed a new compressor. They informed me that I had 3 options: 1. Replace the compressor and additional components, 2. Replace the compressor, 3. Just recharge the system. They told me that the compressor should last at least a couple of years before needing additional work. I received the car back. It made the sound of a bad hose whenever I had the AC on. It did not make this sound before. I took the car back to them and told them about the noise. They drove it and insisted the noise was fine and that there was no problem with the car. I took the car on a trip to California and the AC Compressor blew up. I was informed by another shop in California that they did not clean out the system properly and that there was dye and freon leaking all over the place. The new compressor blew a hole in it. I was truly blown away by My Maintenance Man's incompetent work. Perhaps My Maintenance Man was dye-ing to fix the problem to get rid of me and make money rather than fix the problem properly. I lived in Green Valley and the dye leaking from my car was so much that it would definitely add more green to the valley, at least on the pavement. I asked them if there was a warranty and they said no because I did not have the additional components fixed. They never returned my calls or texts which proved that Kerry and Rachell were being dishonest. They should at least have been willing to give me a discount on labor. I had the whole system fixed in California due to their defective repair work. It was My Maintenance Man's responsibility to inform me that this fix would only last a few months. They should never have offered this repair and told me just to recharge the system until I could afford a better repair. At least the compressor would not have blown up. It was a waste of $680. I took my Oldsmobile 98 to have the AC system fixed also before I realized they did such a terrible job on the Chevy Malibu. They told me the problem was a bad pressure switch. I paid over $400 to have it fixed. The AC only lasted a few months before going out again. I did all the repairs I was told to do on this one. I took the car back. They told me that it must be a freon leak. I went to check in with them over a week later. The car was just sitting there collecting dust in the parking lot. It was obvious that they were either a very incompetent shop or they didn't care. Perhaps it was both. The only thing I was told by Rachell was that it might be an electrical problem. She told me they would only look at it for a few more days before giving up. It was during this week that the Chevrolet Malibu AC went out again. I went to pick up the Oldsmobile. Rachell was not in her office and did not respond to my texts. She was a coward who could not face me since their shop was obviously either totally incompetent or greedy. I also had them do a coolant flush during the summer prior to being aware of the crappy AC work. Only a world class klutz and a master of incompetence shop would mess up a coolant flush. However, this shop rose to the challenge and managed to mess up the vehicle. The heater core leaked severely after the coolant flush. I gave them benefit of the doubt initially and paid them around $850 to fix the heater core. Kerry did not care about me as a customer. Kerry did not have his shop perform proper repair work. Kerry refused to resolve the matters with me. Kerry's behavior was unacceptable. Rachell and the mechanics who worked on my vehicles should be terminated and should not be eligible for rehire. Rachell and the mechanics should receive their final pay checks upon being informed of their terminations. Rachell and the mechanics should be escorted off the premises to their vehicles. Kerry is a bad owner and Rachell is a bad receptionist. In fact, My Maintenance Man should be shut down by the State of Nevada due to their incompetence and dishonesty. My Maintenance Man is a bad repair shop. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS SHOP AGAIN! THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND GREEDY!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully, I have had positive experiences with other repair shops after this experience. read more

Took it back chagered me another Diagnostic fee and sprayed some cleaner in air intake and chagered me another 500. Straight liars and scam artists. Kerry has kept my dilapidated 2009 Toyota Sienna running like new. I got it free from my sister in rough shape and he was able to fix what Utah mechanics called un-fixable. The receptionist is always on top of things and I'm always able to get an appointment quickly, most of the time next day. I have never felt like I've been lied to or taken advantage of, as Kerry is always honest about what needs fixing now and what can wait.
