My daughter had tried group swim lessons previously with another organization, but never got comfortable with the most basic skills like putting her face in the water. Shawn was patient, encouraging, and did a great job balancing when to push and when to give my daughter a break while she was trying something new and difficult. By the end of the lessons, my daughter was so comfortable in the water that the biggest challenge was getting her to keep her head out of water long enough to listen to the next instruction! My daughter looked forward to every lesson and always wanted to keep swimming at the end of the lesson. We did 12 lessons, 45 minutes each, three times a week, and it was the perfect way to start the summer by building a strong foundation from which we will keep practicing on our own. We love the swim programs, the bbq grills for meeting up with friends (no house cleaning required!) and especially the beautiful grounds and sparkling clean pool. As the world is starting to open back up, the Cabana Club has as well. There's a fun event hosted each month of the summer to help gather members and meet new people. Honestly this pool is one of the best kept secrets in the Bay Area....so thankful for it and the community it has brought to our family!
